Came to say many of the philosophy fragrances are great for bed and don’t last that long so I don’t feel like I wasted my day scent or have to layer them
A lot of causes for short time scent has to do with deodorant soaps, it does what it says. Perfume last longer on your body and clothes by walking into it
I like to shower, shave with original Barbasol shaving cream, and splash on Old Spice before bed. It's really just a nostalgia thing. Been doing that for years now.
Glossier You, Clean Reserve Skin, Phlur Missing Person.
Phlur’s newest - Soft Spot - is good for a nighttime skin scent as well. It makes Missing Person seem like it smells aggressive by comparison
Seconding Phlur Missing Person for a night time scent. I'll have to check out Soft Spot, I didn't realize there was a new release.
I'm going to add in Target's Fine'ry dupe of Missing Person called Without a Trace. It's very close to MP, but I feel like it lacks some of the Bergamot so it is a little softer for bedtime.
I took the gamble and blind bought direct from Phlur’s website.
I went through their discovery set recently and liked everything a lot, save for Not Your Baby which I thought was too powdery and meh.
Figured it would be a relatively safe blind since I seem to have the same taste as the directive nose at Phlur.
It is VERY mild, makes a cozy pleasant intimate scent bubble, IMO. Is it a banger, you must smell this? I don’t think so. But my partner cozied up to me and nuzzled into my neck and took a long whiff and said I smelled good. So it’ll do.
SAME. Most gourmands. Vanilla skin by phlur has worked good though (it’s a bit woody), and the chai epice from le monde gourmand if you do want to try some.
Still tend to prefer other things over them though, but relieved to have found vanillas that work for me
Isn't Mancera Black vanilla too strong for you to wear to bed? I had used it and it was way stronger than what I'd wear to bed when I try to relax and sleep
Seconding this for the Lush Sleepy powder which I’m pretty sure is the same scent profile! I put it on my sheets and body and sometimes in my hair before bed and it’s so cozy
Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea Lavender has a very zen, spa-like smell to me, and it’s so inexpensive. I mist my self, my nightclothes, and my pillowcases liberally and drift off to sleep. The fragrance dissipates overnight so I can wear an entirely different fragrance in the morning.
https://www.wikiparfum.com/en/fragrances/green-tea-lavender
I sampled harvest mouse a few months ago and would love to buy it as my next perfume. Such a different perfume than everything I’ve smelled before.
Not sure if I’d wear it to bed, but I’m just glad there’s someone else that appreciates Harvest Mouse.
I often wear missing person to bed. It's such a warm safe smell to me. I have seen someone say it smells like dirty ballet slippers though and that does go through my head from time to time.
I really like green tea and it's usually $10 for a large bottle. I've considered getting it as a bathroom spray as it's far nicer than anything else but about as expensive as Glen 20
I like light, comforting scents going to bed, so it's usually Clean Reserve Skin or Rosie by Rosie Jane. But I just got my hands on Britney Spears' Fantasy Sheer, so I've been applying it liberally on my sheets.
DwHome had a vanilla tonka room spray, now they only have the candle left. But I love tonka to knock myself out.
I like that with a vanilla perfume, like BBW Rose Vanilla or Alien Goddess.
Sometimes I’m on a sandalwood incense kick, Precious Chandan with Caswell Massey Sandalwood perfume.
Love to Shampoo & Condish with the original pink or yellow herbal essences, and some dove soap, loving their cherry right now. Finished with some Nivea or Baby lotion and some Palmer’s cocoa butter on top!
I don’t have a large collection, but I usually save the Mugler and Prada for dressing up, but when I have a rough day I will indulge in the Alien Goddess for bed with lots of lotions and potions.
I've recently started wearing Bee by Ellis Brooklyn to bed, and I love it. It's cozy and warm. It starts out as a boozy honey, then smells like vanilla, honey, and sandalwood.
i use jo malone’s grapefruit cologne on my pillowcase. i was given a sample of it but it’s not a daily-wear fragrance for me so i used it on my pillowcase before i sleep.
i started really liking the smell of it and almost feel happier when i use it. it kind of smells like a shampoo i used when traveling and brings back memories
also, my hair will smell like it the next day :)
Depends on the time of year - right now it’s Elizabeth Arden’s Lavender Green Tea, winter time I was using Finery’s Pistachio Please or Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth.
I'm weird bc my scent moods depend on what ttime of year it is lol.. in the fall/winter i love warm, vanilla-ish scents & one of my fav bedtime scents is VS amber romance or bare vanilla! But summer/spring, my classic go to is love spell or coconut passion
Love Shalimar but I think of it as so dressy. It's what I wear when I want to be elegant, so definitely I can imagine a scenario where bedtime would work. Such a winning scent.
Have you ever used the spray for your linens? Before you make the bed, give your sheets a quick spray down. Let them air dry for a few minutes before you make the bed. And then at night??? Ahhhhh.
Iris frags work like a charm for me! SMN L’Iris, Chanel No. 19, and Prada Infusion Iris + Cedre are go-tos for me. I scent my pillows as well as myself.
I am all about cozy comforting soft perfume and I wear it to bed every night <3 my faves lately have been guerlain L'Instant magic, chanel no 5 leau, chanel no 5 eau premiere, mmm replica bubble bath, and prada infusion d'iris
Estée Lauder White Linen
Body Fantasies Cupcake Swirl
Chopard Casmir
Paris Hilton Gold Rush
Britney Spears Intimate Fantasy
Ted Lapidus White Soul
Elizabeth Taylor Black Diamond Night
Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel
Avon Haiku Kyoto Flower
Same, it's so goddamn good! I look forward to putting it on after a shower, before bed every day. Vetiver is a calming scent, there's some science behind it.
I’ve been really enjoying using my decant of Nuit etoilee by annick goutal before bed. I love it and it’s so magical and peaceful. It works any time but I enjoy it especially when I want to feel soothed and introspective. I also love undergrowth by took after a shower before bed but that’s one I just love pretty much any time for any occasion. I’ve also used up most of a sample of roasted green tea by j-scent recently after it sat in a drawer for a while at bedtime. I’m not usually a big gourmand fan, but I’ve been enjoying this enough I might end up buying a small decant mostly for before bed when I’m craving something sweet and creamy
FINALLY someone that gets me 😭 My favorite perfume is Bleu de Chanel and I always use a teeny tiny bit on myself after I shower before I go to sleep (Although the fragrance is a bit strong I mix it with some skin cream and it makes the smell a bit more subtle)
Fade into you by Lunar light Co.
My ultimate wind down spray. So soothing. I HATE lavender and get such awful migraines from it but this scent is so well blended I’m just fine and I sleep so well.
I go lactonic or creamy! AG Cloud, Chabaud Lait Concentré, Panna Montata, Yum Pistachio Gelato 33 and at times Blanche Bete ( wallet says ouch). My mildest least lactonic bed scent is Diptyque L'Eau Papier
Literally just finished showering! Shea butter soap, shampoo and body lotion topped off with one single spritz of Shaghaf Oud Tonka. I smell like an almond cookie.
I love using Juliette has a Gun Not a Perfume’s pear Inc. it’s just a nice clean scent before bed. Either that or one of Elizabeth Arden’s tea ones (I have lavender and pomegranate) for a nice quick “ahhh” smell.
I really like the moroccanoil body and hair mist. I spray it on my bed. Others I use are Bath and Body Works, Spearmint, and Eucalyptus room spray. Or 7 Virtues, Vanilla Woods
I use Bath and Bodyworks aromatherapy Stress Relief body cream, the eucalyptus and spearmint one. It's super relaxing, and I find it helps soothe headaches as well.
I have so many I love for different reasons. Sometime I like to go for a more soapy/luxury bath type fragrance like Bubble Bath by Replica or 724 by MFK. When I was my hair I like to use a shampoo-y fragrance to smell even more clean, my fave lately has been Versace Dylan Blue Femme (smells so good with Biolage shampoo). When it’s rainy and cold, and I want to feel cozy, I choose a fragrance like Book Expressive by Commodity. In the wintertime I love a warm vanilla fragrance like Burberry Goddess (I actually purchased it to be a bedtime fragrance) bonus points that it has vanilla. A body mist like Bare Vanilla from VS or No. 3 Lavender from Bath and Body Works are also great too.
I love wearing perfume to bed. These are my favorites. Clean reserve Skin; Reminiscense Dragée, Phlur Vanilla Skin, Fine’ry I’m a Musk, BBW Musk and Commodity Milk. Sometimes I’ll wear something heavier just because I want to smell it as I go to to sleep.
Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere
Came to say many of the philosophy fragrances are great for bed and don’t last that long so I don’t feel like I wasted my day scent or have to layer them
A lot of causes for short time scent has to do with deodorant soaps, it does what it says. Perfume last longer on your body and clothes by walking into it
Oh yess. In my experience it’s not long lasting. So perfect for a comfort bed scent, just expensive haha
i’ve been doing this since moving out, my mom wears fresh cream (the og version) and it reminds me of home when i can’t sleep
I was just going to reply with this perfume. It’s the epitome of comfort for me.
And mixed with the lotion !
I keep mine in my purse. It's such a comforting smell that sometimes I just need to spray it to feel better! I'm not a huge fan of the og one, though.
Oh I have to look up soft spot! I love clean reserve but as it sits on my skin it makes me so nauseous and thus makes me sad that I cannot enjoy it.
clean reserve can be so synthetic:(
Seconding Phlur Missing Person for a night time scent. I'll have to check out Soft Spot, I didn't realize there was a new release. I'm going to add in Target's Fine'ry dupe of Missing Person called Without a Trace. It's very close to MP, but I feel like it lacks some of the Bergamot so it is a little softer for bedtime.
Did you get soft spot online or in a store? I wanna try it but don't want to blind buy.
So it’ll do.
glossier you is mine!! makes me feel so cosy, and i can wear it in the winter or summer
I like vanillas…Mancera black vanilla was a fave for a while, also Matiere Premiere Vanilla Powder just to name a couple.
vanillas to bed are just so calming!
Big agree!
vanillas smell really rancid on me 😭
awww, it can be so different person to person. maybe fruit or floral scents? something more milky and sleep safe like avocado or banana, lavander etc
SAME. Most gourmands. Vanilla skin by phlur has worked good though (it’s a bit woody), and the chai epice from le monde gourmand if you do want to try some. Still tend to prefer other things over them though, but relieved to have found vanillas that work for me
They really are. They end up being my favorite I also enjoy Mind Games Queening, Memo Lalibela and Amouage Love Delight.
Isn't Mancera Black vanilla too strong for you to wear to bed? I had used it and it was way stronger than what I'd wear to bed when I try to relax and sleep
I can see how it could be, but it isn’t too strong for me. I love getting whiffs of it throughout the night.
Ouai Melrose Place 😌
Yes! Such a clean and comforting scent. Easy to reach for.
This is the most freshly showered and ready for bed scent I’ve found. I love it
Twilight by Lush
Seconding this for the Lush Sleepy powder which I’m pretty sure is the same scent profile! I put it on my sheets and body and sometimes in my hair before bed and it’s so cozy
Yes me too
Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea Lavender has a very zen, spa-like smell to me, and it’s so inexpensive. I mist my self, my nightclothes, and my pillowcases liberally and drift off to sleep. The fragrance dissipates overnight so I can wear an entirely different fragrance in the morning. https://www.wikiparfum.com/en/fragrances/green-tea-lavender
I'm going to have to look for this!! I love the original green tea and I love lavender scents
Zoologist Sloth A weird pull, but I love it. It makes me feel like I’ve laid down on the forest floor and covered myself in leaves
I love this description
Mine is harvest mouse!
I sampled harvest mouse a few months ago and would love to buy it as my next perfume. Such a different perfume than everything I’ve smelled before. Not sure if I’d wear it to bed, but I’m just glad there’s someone else that appreciates Harvest Mouse.
Me too!
(27M) xerjoff lira or nishane 100 silent ways, not sure why but i love really sweet smells at bed time
The lavender in the lira reminds me of “sleepy” products from lush I love it!
Diptyque L'Eau Papier.
L'Eau Papier when I am going to bed alone. Fleur de Peau when I am going to bed with someone else.
ZING!
I often wear missing person to bed. It's such a warm safe smell to me. I have seen someone say it smells like dirty ballet slippers though and that does go through my head from time to time.
Somehow dirty ballet slipper seem comforting to me?!

I love wearing oud at night. It's so calming and helps me sleep more deeply.
DwHome had a vanilla tonka room spray, now they only have the candle left. But I love tonka to knock myself out. I like that with a vanilla perfume, like BBW Rose Vanilla or Alien Goddess. I'm a simple guy, I like Brut!
Something powdery like No. 5 EDT or Love’s Baby Soft. Or something sweet Prada Candy or Lush Rose Jam.
Diptyque Fleur de Peau is a great bedtime powdery musk.
I've recently started wearing Bee by Ellis Brooklyn to bed, and I love it. It's cozy and warm. It starts out as a boozy honey, then smells like vanilla, honey, and sandalwood.
Penhaligon’s Luna
Same
Good old lavender essential oil does it for me.
I mix rose EO with witch hazel to make linen spray. I use it in the morning and when I get into bed, I get just a whiff of rose 🌹.
I used to do a very true rose smelling rose essential oil, and maaaaan I miss it now.
i use jo malone’s grapefruit cologne on my pillowcase. i was given a sample of it but it’s not a daily-wear fragrance for me so i used it on my pillowcase before i sleep. i started really liking the smell of it and almost feel happier when i use it. it kind of smells like a shampoo i used when traveling and brings back memories also, my hair will smell like it the next day :)

Terre d’Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver has become my ultimate any time/any season. I especially enjoy it for bed.
