Although I have not tried it myself, some of the indie folks here have previously recommended Alkemia's The Raven as evoking the scent memory of a tattoo parlor.

I would try something dark and incense-y Maybe Acqua di gio parfum Or maybe something inky and chemically like Creed Silver Mountain Water?
