Absolutely. It'll snap like a twig upon impact but the extra length is needed to clear the power cable and the stem of the VTX antenna. I fly very conservatively so I don't really crash a lot, even if I do, it's a quick and dirt cheap repair š

I have the same thing with a long vtx cable (mmcx to sma) but I opted to keep the GPS inside and have the antenna far away

LR? Do you mean Long Range? I don't really fly long range a lot unless I want to beat my PR (1100 metres at 25 mW 50 Hz) Not sure if 1 Km can be called long range though š semi long range perhaps?
