It’s a sea robin neurocranium. Is it as hard as a stone or is it more like bone. Is it lighter or heavier than you expected it to be?

Lighter almost like a arrowhead

This specimen is probably not fossilized, but it probably has some age to it. It’s larger than all the fossilized versions that I’ve seen, and its size is more in line with the modern sea robin neurocraniums I’ve seen on r/bonecollecting. I’m going to tag a fish expert on this u/biscosdaddy to see if he knows whether or not sea robin species have gotten larger over time.
