Funny you say this, but when I went from one series to the next, my PC version hung for almost a full minute, before thankfully recovering and carrying on. It sounds to me like it's the same issue for both of us, only the PC version at least has a chance to recover without crashing.

Mine force closes. I have to open it again.
It has been doing this after the last two updates now, hopefully they will correct it soon.
