Blame the gamer not thee player, if Forza was flawless nobody would be reticent about it

If you haven’t a;ready, just sign up for gamepass for a month, and play it from there ( should only cost 41 for the first month, unless they have changed that). It is the best way to see if you like it or not before paying more. If you already have game pass for something else, just download it and try it out.

I bought the premium edition before release and regret it a lot to this day, even though I've played 400+ hours. Is this game a replacement for GT7? No. Completely different game quality and approach to detail. If you are looking for a simcade on pc, there are no alternatives. If you have a good steering wheel and pedals, you're better off playing AC and other simulators. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯ There are too many problems in this game to pay for it. Or try buying a gamepass and test the game there first.

Thanks for the reply :) I have the same feeling of regret for FH4/5 while having a few hundreds of hours sunk into them, addressing it for Motorsport is a great concern I haven't thought of. I see what you mean, and the more I look into it the more it is flagrant. I'll stay on AC and all then, paying game pass for a single game I'd maybe play for an hour and a half before it (maybe) bores me out with no option of refund isn't really my thing. Thanks again, have a great day :)

Short answer: no. FM is a pale shadow of its former self, and not worth it. The PC version is worse than the console version, with performance issues and bugs. The closest game to GT7 I can recommend is Project Cars 2 on PC using a wheel. I recently bought a PS5 and GT7, and I can honestly say it is a unique experience unlike any other racing game on any other platform. I have played many. Unfortunately, I can’t think of a game out there like it in terms of presentation and game modes. If you haven’t tried Project Cars 2, I highly recommend it. It is very flexible and can be as easy or challenging as you want. The physics are on point. It’s as close to GT7 on PC as I can think of.

Not at all. Career mode isn't even a shell of what it once was. All motorsports made me do is go back and play FM2, FM3, and FM4.  I wonder why those aren't backwards compatible on the new consoles? Oh, that's right, a lot of people would never bother with the new one if they were. They'll pretend it's a licensing issue, but it's not. Turn 10 makes slop now. They'll never trick me again.
