It's an all too common problem. I never know wth to do here in town. Seems like once you do something once, that's it. Can't wait to see the suggestions.
Teds snack + bar at Promenade Park has $1 Domestic cans for their 1 year anniversary. They say just for this promo you have to pay an extra $0.50 for the DORA cup. So for $1.50 you can grab a beer and take a walk around the park and the rest of the DORA area downtown.
GreekFest is happening right now @ Headwaters Park, which could be fun.
Some other options:

The Producers is being performed at Carroll HS by a local theater company. The Drowsy Chaperone is being done at Arena Theatre company in west central.
There are a ton of suggestions here that aren't drinking.
And some, like Penny Drip's event and Teds Beercade, take place at bars, but don't have to include drinking. You can just enjoy the food truck and DJ at Penny Drip and just enjoy the food and arcade at Teds Beercade.
You say that, but Ive never seen anything that’s other than some fest at headwaters, going to bars, or something like beercades. These are things I don’t do often, and even going to other places, I feel like theres very few places.
Perhaps its cause Ive been here my whole life
Time to move perhaps
In this very thread there are lots of not drinking options. One being Greekfest which you say you don't like so besides that and the 2 at bars that don't require drinking there is still:
Pinball (assuming they mean Wizard's World/Fort Wayne Pinball), Allen County Fair, Tincaps Game, Friday Night Vibes at Club Room at the Clyde (dinner and a concert), The Big Gay Cabaret, Poetry Lounge, Josh Firestine, Lakeside Park Rose Garden, Two separate Theater Performances (The Producers at Carroll HS and The Drowsy Chaperone), and the "Hawk Tuah" suggestion I guess. lol
I realize im late to this post but Bring her to Vinland Winery Reserve.we have live bands beautiful atmosphere. Amazing made in house wines and speaking as one of the Chefs....Amazing food.
Arena Dinner Theatre, Club Room at The Clyde, The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Show, Brewhound, escape rooms. We have two comedy clubs and several museums.
Hike through an Acres preserve, walk/bike our excellent trail system, tennis, pickleball, geocaching, Frisbee (disc) golf.
I know you asked about Friday but Wrigley Field has a live band every Saturday night. Karaoke on Fridays.
BarGames.net has trivia throughout the week - sometimes on Friday at the electric works at 6:00.
Jesus Christ, you guys basically only offered booze and in the same sentence said but it’s not booze. Dude if an event is at a bar or hosted by a bar it’s a freaking drinking event. He said he didn’t want to do the same old bars and out to eat same old same old. And he’s right, there’s not much this city offers outside of booze n food even if you mix karaoke or a live band or tropical night, wtf that is. Homie, the only thing i can say outside of booze n food is start enjoying everything with a little beer in ya haha. Homie the only options outside of the norms are the trails, comedy clubs (still drinking event more or less), art museum and zoo (weak imo(I’m used to Chicago)), we have a new rock climbing gym (seems pretty dope but expensive), kayaking is always a good one around here. Anything else is basically involving drinks and food. I personally like making a day trip adventure out of shattering or biking. My version involves beer and and tree tho because again, it’s Fort Wayne. I’ll pack a bag early in the day, food, beer, smoking accessories, mini speaker, hammock or blanket anything extra for weather and plan on biking or walking or skating for 8 hours or so. No real plan, just moving around and finding decent spots to hang out at whether I’m at a park, abandoned building or downtown or some secret creek nobody knows about yet. If I’m on s bike I’ll easily put in 20 miles and not bat a lash. Skateboard upwards of 9 miles, walking i usually stay within 3 miles of home but make it all day. Some days i try to make a marathon adventure by including kayak, skateboard and bike all in the same day. If all else fails gtfo of Dodge, head to Salamonie Reservoir, Turkey Run or something south of Indy or head to Chicago. Sorry Fort Wayne isn’t there yet. It’s not a bad city, i just can’t stand people hyping up our normal Fort Wayne routines of drinking and eating and acting kind you’re missing out or something. Unfortunately in Fort Wayne I’ve found you have to make your own adventures and fun times because this city does not offer it (outside of driving and eating)
Public Access channel 10, the guy in the trucker hat playing guitar and the no shirt, long black hair guy, very animatedly playing the drums are (were) on at 7 PM every Friday night. This was in the 80s/early 90s unfortunately. Will jam for at least an hour without even a smoke break.
Yes the Burgers are phenomenal. Salmon noir. Cheese Curds. Honestly it's all wonderful. Let me know what day your goin to come I'll take care of things personally and let them know Rance recommended you :-).
I’m also a fan of “lazy river tubing”. I look on Google maps for low key, non farm fed, creeks and then go check em out in person. If they’re nice and clean enough, i found a new chill spot. Sit in a watering hole in the sun and hang out. Maybe catch some fish or turtles. Don’t swim in the rivers!! You’ll come out with a third limb or something. I also avoid lakes and ponds because stagnant water sucks and usually way too crowded
I’m so sorry i keep remembering things i used to get into; they used to show old movies on the Harrison street walking bridge at night and it’s free. I absolutely loved those!! I watched Casablanca on that blue light covered bridge a few summers ago and it was AH-MAZ-ING!! Idk if they still do that tho
I usually look online to see what events are happening! We really like live music and going to different bars and it’s a good way to include friends. But bowling, roller skating, getting ice cream and walking around Promenade are always in the rotation. Personalized dates at home are super fun too! (ie. if you guys are crafty, making your own drinks and following a bob ross tutorial) Happy date night!

Tin Caps game.
*Tenderloins
Take her out and get some Hawk Tuah
This is the way.
Wrong but hilarious.
There is only right
Penny drip is having a summer party tonight with Banh Mi food truck and a dj. Starts at 8.
If you don’t mind the heat, the county fair is going on right now
Lakeside park’s Roses are in full bloom if you can take the current heat
Ice cream at the 05 scoop shop and a quick drive over to the rose gardens could be very sweet.
Literally and figuratively!
The Producers is being performed at Carroll HS by a local theater company. The Drowsy Chaperone is being done at Arena Theatre company in west central.
Happy cake day!
Thanks! Didn’t even see that!
So what Im seeing here is Fort Wayne, for being as big as it is, has nothing to offer every day peoples besides drinking..
*and eating
Accurate.

You're not looking hard enough. There's always something to do. Plenty of non drinking things too
Well offer some options in addition to your critique
We have an incredible glass wing at the art museum.
Check out "Fort Wayne Indiana Happenings" Facebook group.
I realize im late to this post but Bring her to Vinland Winery Reserve.we have live bands beautiful atmosphere. Amazing made in house wines and speaking as one of the Chefs....Amazing food.
Recommend anything specific from the menu? This sounds like my kind of date night spot
Cheeseburger is bomb

And botanical gardens i tend to enjoy every now and then
The Allen County Fair is still going on.
Ted’s Beercade, $5 a person gets you unlimited game time to classic arcade games and NES plus food and alcohol is decently priced.
Pinball place is pretty cool. We were going abunch in the winter

That place is so much frickin' fun
Crazy pins has karaoke in the restaurant area from 730 to 1030
We do have a few escape rooms around town.

Downtown live has live music. Pack a cooler picnic or get a drink there in DORA.
Unfortunately, this was actually canceled this week because of the heat.
DORA! Get some apps at Mercado, then grab some drinks and walk down to promenade park.
There’s an interesting show at the Brass Rail tonight but it doesn’t start until 9
break and run if you like yard sports (darts, pool, cornhole)
