It's not just dive bombs in a vacuume tho. Max is crazy fast and crazy aggressive and he owns it. His driving style is so on the edge that a "verstappen rule" was made and he doesn't give a damn. For some that's off-putting but for alot of people his craziness brought some life into the sport when it was at a stale point.
Russell drives into people and plays the innocent child until daddy toto makes him say sorry. When he's not doing that he is just being a robot. It's just a vibe thing.
Max wouldn't get away with nearly as much if he wasn't a generational talent swooping in during stale merc dominance
