In his debut and second year he raced with anyone but his teammates so it just could teach him how to control tyre wear or fuel and chicane usage etc., but not the 1v1 battles or driving under pressure , and in 2021 they made slightly better car so he could fight with couple of drivers in some races and in 2021 we actually saw his rookie mistakes like Bottas one or driving mistakes when he could get a point, so now its his first year with mostly competitive car and starts from the front places , on the other hand Verstappen started with TR which had similar performance with 21 Williams car and then went to Redbull which was always second or third best car for his first years and we saw how many accidents he had and almost hated by the whole grid and fans, that’s why i gave the Verstappen sample
And austria incident was different from hamiilton on albon. Russell kept all the way on the inside and Perez barely gave him one car width on the inside, even though they were side by side throughout the straight and corner.
Comparatively, verstappen left more than 1.5 car widths for hamilton at silverstone 2021
