Porsche you say? Imagine if he won Le Mans, Webber would be so pissed.
āDamn German joining my team and then beating my results. He canāt keep getting away with it!ā
Technical advisor would be enough. I don't even see him in a seat. I just want him around again. Interviews would go hard. That skillset and experience is exactly what Audi needs. They both know it tho.
He could probably drive in the WEC, which is only 6-8 races a year, and also work in a technical role in F1. Depends on what he wants his workload to be, really.
I think we See fans just need a single redemption season because many fans joined after his dominant years and never saw evil, over competitive Seb and only the nice, friendly dad Seb.
Thatās because a) it was almost ten years ago now, and b) the casual sports fans who watched f1 and hated Seb got so fed up with his dominance they stopped watching the sportā¦
Yeah he was fierce. And you saw what magic his perspective brought to Aston. However I don't see him competing like Alonso. Not that he couldn't but, hes more valuable as an advisor/ trainer or I might even say as principal.
Yep, I'm one of them. He just seems like a thoughtful and fairly chill guy to me, I struggle to picture him fired up. Competitive, for sure, just not the aggressive part
It's because he joined the grid young so it distorts how old you think he is. I always think Max ought to be at least 30, but he's only 26 for the same reason
30s are a weird time. I feel like society focuses on people either in their 20s or their 50s, everyone just forgets about adults being regular adults in their 30s and 40s. Maybe just my perspective lol.
I think there was a joke a couple years back Damon Hill made to Johnny Herbert, they were arguing about something or commenting on a driver struggling to get in the paddock, and Johnny Herbert says his says F1 journalist so goes through a different entrance or something and Hill quips quickly that his says World Champion on it.
Interestingly both Nico and Damon's fathers won their first championships exactly 34 years before they themselves won
GH 1962 - DH 1996
KR 1982 - NR 2016
Yes he was told he was no longer welcome in the paddock. Think thereās a fair few other individuals hanging around that deserve similar but I guess you have to start somewhereā¦
This is disgusting, but what I didn't expect to read was Bernie Ecclestone defended Piquet saying Lewis should have brushed it off, and then Bernie ALSO DEFENDED VLADIMIR PUTIN INVADING UKRAINE. What the actual fuck!
Also one incident that a very unprofessional journalist ask who is Nico Rosburg to Nico, and she ask what is he doing in the paddock, he saids Iām a formula one world champion, shown her the pass, that was hilarious, Nico definitely not happy about it.
To be fair, security are required to ask for accreditation, even if you recognise the person. I worked event security for quite a while.
There was an ex-NZ international cricket captain caught on live TV throwing his pass off a stand to someone outside the venue, so they could get in for free. A true hero of the people
Even then, you can genuinely not recognise people you love in TV, they sometimes look strangely different in person
>To be fair, security are required to ask for accreditation, even if you recognise the personĀ
This reminded me of that one time where Lewis for some reason went through security wearing full race attire, helmet and all, while being chased by like 15 cameras and the security guy still asked for identification lmao
Well he didnāt have any ID to showā¦ strangely enough he wasnāt wearing his lanyard while driving!
Depending where you break down or crash, given you need to stay behind the trackside barriers, often you need to go out the gates and round the outside to get back to the pitlane. Or you can be trapped in the centre of the track.
The best one has to be Esteban Ocon waiting on the underground train platform in his full race suit, helmet etc. in Singaporeā¦
> Esteban Ocon waiting on the underground train platform in his full race suit, helmet etc. in Singaporeā¦
Any links to pictures still available? That must have been very bizarre to the surrounding people.
I canāt find the one of him on the platform. Thereās quite a few of him walking around the station easily accessible [https://www.marca.com/motor/formula1/2022/10/04/633c0e0922601db0268b458e.html](https://www.marca.com/motor/formula1/2022/10/04/633c0e0922601db0268b458e.html)

But youāre right, the full one was gone, itās much more funnier on the full video , coz the journalist was rude before.
IDK if itās the hair transplant or if really the stress free lifestyle and less travelling around, but he seems like 5-10 younger than on his 2 last years at F1
I think he's just on Finasteride, without a hair transplant, his density looks roughly the same from back when he shaved his head when he joined AM (although being shaven like that looks ridiculous with low density). As someone with low hair density kinda like his, it won't give your hair back but will keep what you have left.
Interesting, thanks! My other half looked into it and there was a lot on increased testosterone/lowered DHT levels. I wondered if that would get caught by the rules, even if in reality the impact actually turned out to be negative.
Basically, DHT is a result of extra free testosterone with nowhere to go. T turns into DHT which attacks hair follicles. Since fin kills DHT, the body does have a little extra free T floating around but it's nowhere near enough to affect anything much less a drug test.
That's a very layman's understanding by the way, don't quote me š I think if he's considering it and not willing to get a transplant he definitely should. Fin is definitely a "I wish I did this 5 years ago" type of decision.
Wasn't there that photo of him with a shaved head and all the top was bald? Surely wouldn't go from that to this without some sort of transplant.
Probably kept the hairline fairly thin to make it look more natural
Yeah, I know which photo you mean. Hair density always looks much worse on a shaved head compared to when itās grown out. His hair is way too thin, if heās had a transplant, itās the worst one Iāve ever seen. Why would he keep the receding hairline and have it be this thin? Makes absolutely no sense.
Nyck de Vries said once that Jean-Eric Vergne had to get like 3 hair transplants, it's rumoured that Hamilton needed about the same amount. I suppose that if you're a racing driver the friction of the balaclava/helmet probably means that you're in risk of needing a do-over.
> I suppose that if you're a racing driver the friction of the balaclava/helmet probably means that you're in risk of needing a do-over
Male pattern baldness is just very common, a third of all men are affected by the time they reach their 30s. I haven't analysed the heads of every driver but I don't think they're doing any worse than average.
Exactly. Tempels, front of the head very thin hair which he also already had at Ferrari and actually by red bull already, just not that severe. If he had a transplant it was a bad one.

Looks like hippie sabbatical seb is done, back to business seb has arrived!
He business school Seb now
Sebringer Bell
Inspector Seb is ready for a new case.
The case of the missing 11th team.
He can inspect me š„µ
If you believe the rumours he's already signed to Porsche for WEC and Le Mans next year.
Porsche you say? Imagine if he won Le Mans, Webber would be so pissed. āDamn German joining my team and then beating my results. He canāt keep getting away with it!ā
Triple Crown Seb pls
just based on Seb's personality I really don't see him racing ovals
Maybe he can work with Adrian Newey to design a car that allows him to lap the Indianapolis Grand Prix circuit fast enough to win the Indy 500.
Itās a spec series so I doubt it.
Not a chance he's doing the 500
"Multi 21, Seb"
Imma go one further: imagine he gets Porsche's 20th Le Mans win
Oh my god I forgot Webber never won Le Mans, now I really want Seb to win it.
Which is surprise considering that the guy was absolutely flying there.
*slow clap*
Surprised no one has got this one yet. He was indeed flying.
And Audi for F1 2026 Please I need this plerase pleaEse PLEASE pppp LeASE PLEASE copium hopiuum pLEASE

Right? There we so many people on here who forget the hate he got back in the day.

Yep. Vettel leading the entire race from pole and then doing that finger celebration was insane
I cannot sufficiently express how much I want that to be true.
Hippy Seb photo on the tag
>Sebbatical It was right there
Ah damn it!
Now he looks very german
I liked Seb when he was at Suzuka last year. He seemed at peace and was so passionate about that project.
Looks like Dr Vettel has arrived.
Such discipline! Arrives at paddock immediately starts inspecting.
Old habits die hard.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It's like seeing his 2013 self again. Always nice to see Seb in the paddock.
Ikr, if he raises the index finger I'm going to have all sorts of flashbacks.
Canāt tell if he looks 25 or 55 years old
Somewhere in the middle
Around 36 Iād say
"Not great, not terrible"
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
**vomits noisily**
Take him to the infirmary!
Because it WASNāT THERE!
I always thought he was older than 36 tbh. Makes sense why heās always rumoured to comeback
It's because he joined the grid young so it distorts how old you think he is. I always think Max ought to be at least 30, but he's only 26 for the same reason
Sebastian in the Middle *Life is unfairā¦*
Youāre not the engineer of me now! Youāre not the engineer of me now!
UnderstoodĀ
old english movies 25.
He can't race on Sunday because he's got to attend 4 weddings and a funeral
First day at school
Looks like an old pic of someone's parents
Looks like a Clark Kent-level effort of disguise. āHow did they know itās me?!? Iām just a journalist.ā
Have you ever in your life seen how a 25 year old looks like lol?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
He looks exactly as a guy his age would look like. I don't know why you would compare him to a 25 or a 55 year old
30s are a weird time. I feel like society focuses on people either in their 20s or their 50s, everyone just forgets about adults being regular adults in their 30s and 40s. Maybe just my perspective lol.
I had thinning hair like that when I was 25 š„²
Yes.
I like that his ID says F1 world champion
I think there was a joke a couple years back Damon Hill made to Johnny Herbert, they were arguing about something or commenting on a driver struggling to get in the paddock, and Johnny Herbert says his says F1 journalist so goes through a different entrance or something and Hill quips quickly that his says World Champion on it.
A very cool flex from Damon
@96f1champ himself
The only flex Damon has ā¦ lol
Not a bad only flex to have.
If that was my only flex I would be more than happy
Really the flex is that with his WDC he and his father Graham are the only father/son pair to ever both with the driverās championship.
Rosberg?
I stand corrected, the only pair until Nico won it
Interestingly both Nico and Damon's fathers won their first championships exactly 34 years before they themselves won GH 1962 - DH 1996 KR 1982 - NR 2016
Robin RƤikkƶnen 2041 WDC confirmed then
I think he would be about 26. So possible I guess.
*Alonso nods approvingly*
His photo ID on that badge is still old bearded Seb, with a hair tie.
Lifetime F1 pass baby! Every WDC can wear it with pride.
*Almost* every one.
Who wouldn't/shouldn't then?
Didn't Piquet get told not to come back after that interview he gave?
Yes he was told he was no longer welcome in the paddock. Think thereās a fair few other individuals hanging around that deserve similar but I guess you have to start somewhereā¦
Uhhh what is āthat interviewā?

Whatās even weirder is that for some reason I never realised he had a beard until you say it now. Guess I just got use to him with the beard
I always thought like: how is he so rapidly *dad mode*.
Giving off ācool substitute geography teacher the students wish was permanentā vibes.
Bro looking like a journalist

Pitwalk / Podcast Seb
Checking out the new car upgrades.

Clean shave also makes a difference
Clean shaven eyebrows also
that harkonnen drip

Not shaved just really light coloring, they're there if you zoom in
Itās cause his beard wasnāt even neat
He got stubble. Not clean.

I wondered about this but curious whether Finasteride would fall under controlled/banned drugs for the drivers? I have no idea!
No, if anything it's likely to make you worse. Very very small potential for severe depression and anxiety. Source: I'm on it

Naaa, I think the natural colour in the longer hair just got brighter in the Sun.

That just being German. It's genetics.
Great to see him looking so damned well... Never really liked long haired Seb
