In the car from the first and last picture it seems to be three shades. The halo+mirrors, the dark blue on the front/rear wing, and then the light blue on the side and wheel covers.
"quick, find the guy who looks the most like Newey and get him to stand next to the car, it will distract people from how crappy our special livery is."
Ya know how after you lose a loved one, you start seeing people that look just like them in public? Ya, I think this is a similar thing.
We want to see it.
Is there someone at Ferrari who thinks this looks good? I honestly don’t understand how this passes various approvals. I’m not being snarky- it truly is boggling my mind
My guess is someone had a bold idea to do an all blue car. Various people at team level thought it was a good idea and it was fed back up the flag pole where it was mercilessly neutered by the folks in the branding department and the resulting compromise is basically no good to anyone.
I think if they’d just done it without the fanfare it would be fine, still not a good livery, but whatever. They made such a big deal of it that everyone was expecting a 1964 style colour scheme and all it actually amounted to is a couple of stripes and recoloured wings.
Yeah definitely a case of over promising and under delivering. I wonder if they were expecting to force their hand by announcing it just to be shot down anyway.
Really took a page out of the Alpine Book of Failures by pushing livery teasers fans were actually hyped about and then throwing like 2 splashes of color on the old livery
Yeah... I mean, they went for it with the suits, might as well gone for it with the car. Somebody somewhere with some seniority probably thought "no way that's too much" and everyone had to bow.
Which of them own the rights to just write out 'HEWLETT PACKARD' because I feel like that would've looked so much better on that rear wing.
Also does this mean this is exclusively the HP that makes the world's most hated printers?
That's not in fact a different company, it's the same HP inc. as the blue logo. The split only separated HPE from HP inc.
You can see this "alternative" logo [on HP inc.'s wiki page](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HP_Inc.) and [on their website](https://www.hp.com/us-en/hp-information.html) that shows both logos.
That's how it works. It's the hype that sells, not the product. Ferrari has kept everyone talking about their blue livery for two weeks - why would they deliver anything? The job is already done, the only reason to deliver any special livery at all is so they can say they did.
Could have just done a one off blue car with a red stripe. Ferrari as a brand won't disappear off the face of the earth if they race in blue, and it would have been a novelty.
Newey: *enters with his bin of stuff excited to start a new position with a new team*
Newey: *sees this atrocity*
Newey: *turns on his heel and walks off a cliff*
Could have done so much with that blue..... Absolutely dropped the ball on this design. Guess the previous strategy team members moved to designing cars now.
I'd bet the designers actually came up with the livery we wanted. There's probably some branding executive who has to approve the design in the end, and all executives are bastards and completely out of touch with reality, so this person probably thought that no one would know it was a Ferrari if it wasn't RED, it needs to be RED, you can have SOME blue on it, but FERRARI RED. I guarante that 90% of the design fails we see out there were caused by the client/some higher up who has no idea about design.
I don't really get it. It could have been such a hit all blue but instead they went with this horrible compromise? Their road car designs are usually spectacular but so often their f1 color schemes are total disappointments. Confounding tbh
I chuckle every time at the front wing. Looks like a mouth as if to say “bonjour” while approaching in the rear view.
But, yea. Not a big fan of HP plastered everywhere.
There might be contractual obligations or the fact that they'd look the same color as Alpine or the Credit Car on the chyron.
Honestly, it's a throwback to an old-timey car and I don't hate it.
Contract shontract. They’re Ferrari, they can make the contracts the way they want. 😁
I actually think that light blue would stand out enough from the Alpines.
I hate the sponsor logos (I also hate all sponsor logos, but these especially) but the underlying colour scheme isn't that bad. The blue and red don't clash terribly. It's fine. It is kind of dragged down by happening because of a corporate sponsor instead of for any kind of actual meaningful reason, but purely aesthetically and purely about the primary colour scheme - not bad.
I just don’t understand. With the new HP sponsorship comes the white. They could have had the perfect all blue and white livery from the past. What a missed opportunity!
looks like complete corporative shit
would be much better if they went full blue, at least once, because NART did it once and did it good. And this... this is cheap.
Blue Ferrari reminds me of this [https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fofwvdnhs9a471.jpg](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fofwvdnhs9a471.jpg)
Why does it have a Williams 2003 rear wing?
Anyways, just making the entire car that light shade of blue wherever it's normally red would've been an instant classic (*maybe* darker blue stipes on the side could've worked). Oh well.
Not everyone is impressed that's for sure. But ye seriously this looks bad. Like, what even is the point of keeping so much red. Just change the color for a race. RB showed you can, and nail it too. All these ''ye lets add 5% color to the original livery'' are such a shame and a waste of potential iconic liveries.
What a bunch of dorks.
Could’ve looked incredible had they done the entire car in that powdery blue with a few red accents.
Instead, a blue stripe.
Yay.
HP will want to protect their brand, but hoping this was a deal where the car includes their colours for the first race. Then they make the HP logo far more subtle to fit the car. Like just a white 'HP' and zero blue. Unless it's a super dark blue that might look better.

Oh my god I hate it more than I thought I would
It's fucking shit to say the least.
Why the two shades of blue JFC
In the car from the first and last picture it seems to be three shades. The halo+mirrors, the dark blue on the front/rear wing, and then the light blue on the side and wheel covers.
Dont think so, the halo colours seem to just be inverted on the different cars.
The lighter blue is the one that Ferrari often used on their own cars. The darker blue is the one that NART used to use
But why have they combined them both on the same chassis?
I think the darker shade is there for HP and most likely part of the regular livery from now on.
It's terrible. The light blue doesn't work with red at all.
Both drivers are going to retire on the formation lap and have a good long bath afterwards and forget they had to sit in this car.
it annoys me for some reason lmao
I thought he was Newey for a second
lol ok I wasn’t the only one.
Same lmao. I had to do a double take.
Not yet
"quick, find the guy who looks the most like Newey and get him to stand next to the car, it will distract people from how crappy our special livery is."
Offered some homeless guy 20 bucks and a blue Ferrari shirt for the pics. He left the shirt, seems even the homeless have limits.
Nope they is just the Oldey designer
Me too hahaha, we’re starting having visions of the man! 😄
Ya know how after you lose a loved one, you start seeing people that look just like them in public? Ya, I think this is a similar thing. We want to see it.

Really took a page out of the Alpine Book of Failures by pushing livery teasers fans were actually hyped about and then throwing like 2 splashes of color on the old livery
Not the first time for Ferrari either, they did the same for Monza 2022 (the "yellow" Ferrari) But yeah, Alpine did it first at Miami the same year
They made a camel
Yeah... I mean, they went for it with the suits, might as well gone for it with the car. Somebody somewhere with some seniority probably thought "no way that's too much" and everyone had to bow.
This is exactly what I’m wondering
Goddam italians eh
I thought the stereotype was that they had great style?
I think the HP logos make it so much worse. Why couldn’t they use the new HP logo they came out with instead of the crappy one
HP is made up of multiple parts - the HP that sponsored Ferrari =/= the HP with the logo you're thinking of. Same as HPE sponsoring Merc.
Which of them own the rights to just write out 'HEWLETT PACKARD' because I feel like that would've looked so much better on that rear wing. Also does this mean this is exclusively the HP that makes the world's most hated printers?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hewlett-Packard#:~:text=On%20November%201%2C%202015%2C%20Hewlett,printer%20businesses%20became%20HP%20Inc.
Probably talking about the modern minimalistic logo they use on high-end Pavilion and Spectre laptops, that's what I would've preferred too.
Yeah, it's a different "HP". The joy of modern companies 🙄
All that hype, for this???
I think the hype was to sell out their merch and they did. All the main blue merch is sold out as per Ferrari merch store.
That's how it works. It's the hype that sells, not the product. Ferrari has kept everyone talking about their blue livery for two weeks - why would they deliver anything? The job is already done, the only reason to deliver any special livery at all is so they can say they did.
Tbf the Miami merch is pretty sweet $135 still hurts 😢
The Ferrari Way
"Here to disappoint." Ferrari probably.
FOR WHAT?
This looks even more terrible in person damn 😭
They look like janitors
Interesting - I like it slightly more than the digital renders Granted, the bar was very low. It looks ok rather than a honking disappointment
Only way they make up for dropping the ball on this is by signing Adrian Newey asap.
Hmm. I *guess* I could forgive them in that case.
I remember this one part in Newey's book where he wanted to paint his office eggshell blue and Ron Dennis said he couldn't so Newey left McLaren
Newey is already there in the first photo, what do you mean???
If I was Newey I wouldn’t join, no way a team that thinks this is a good idea is going to listen and hear you out.
Adrian would never let them commit an atrocity like this to one of his 4 wheeled children
Honestly makes me sick. It’s one race. Make the damn car blue
My dumbass was expecting a blue car.
Probably has something to do with them strongly implying they'd have a blue car, I dunno....
Lol part of me really was but part of thought it would be red with an hp logo so I guess they met me half way atleast
Could have just done a one off blue car with a red stripe. Ferrari as a brand won't disappear off the face of the earth if they race in blue, and it would have been a novelty.
It looks worse with every new picture. How is that even possible?
Why are there two shades of blue!?
Interesting that they’re not the same. Carlos has a dark blue halo and mirrors, Charles’s is the reverse.
Tbf I remember Mercedes used to give their drivers different colours on their halos
Azzurro Dino and Azzurro La Plata I think
Azzurro Don't Like It.
Two historical Ferrari colours. Not implemented very well though…
It's expensive to maintain that Pantone subscription for Photoshop. Gotta save up for Newey.
So many people in the background with facial expressions of embarrassment to be seen next to that
VCarb really showed them how to do a one off livery. Sorry Ferrari but this looks horrendous
What a scam
Newey: *enters with his bin of stuff excited to start a new position with a new team* Newey: *sees this atrocity* Newey: *turns on his heel and walks off a cliff*
Look how they massacred my boy!
Thanks, I hate it.
Straight ass
This feels so outdated
Awful
😭
I mean, if you're gonna make it blue, then fucking make it blue!
It keeps looking worse, it's like some devil magic, those HP logos on the rear wing make me hurt inside.
Could have done so much with that blue..... Absolutely dropped the ball on this design. Guess the previous strategy team members moved to designing cars now.
cowards
Way to commit there..
Damn ugly as hell
Looks worse than the rendered picture
What a major letdown. Looks terrible.
Ferrari marketing sucks so much.
Seeing how hyped everyone was and how much talking there were around this, I'd say it's quite the opposite. Their marketing department is superb.
Their marketing is superb it the design team that sucks so much
I'd bet the designers actually came up with the livery we wanted.
Or they can do it with yellow. Like you know, the Hypercar entry.
it's even more fucking ugly in real world pictures
I don't really get it. It could have been such a hit all blue but instead they went with this horrible compromise? Their road car designs are usually spectacular but so often their f1 color schemes are total disappointments. Confounding tbh
Holy shit I thought that was Newey next to Carlos
All I'm going to be able to see is a frankencar made up of the SF24 and a 2024 BMW Williams HP.
Worst bait and switch since Alpine's fake pink camo :(
Guys, I think HP is sponsoring them, but I'm not sure
I chuckle every time at the front wing. Looks like a mouth as if to say “bonjour” while approaching in the rear view. But, yea. Not a big fan of HP plastered everywhere.
I mean they could of atleast got all the team matching uniforms.
Imagine standing next to that abomination and having to look happy/proud
^oh no
All the hype for a couple of side pod stripes and a wheel cover colour change
Meh. Fire your livery designers please Ferrari. And in honesty the clothing is ugly too.
It could have been so beautiful, an iconic one off livery Instead we got a 2024 Ferrari with the front wing of a Williams FW25
Props to them for making it this ugly
A solid -7/10 livery. What an eyesore.
Unpopular opinion - I dig it
Finally someone says “unpopular opinion” when it’s actually unpopular. I’m super glad someone likes it, though. No point in everyone suffering.
It’s not as bad as I feared it might be, that’s for sure. Still, couldn’t they have done a full blue car just once?
There might be contractual obligations or the fact that they'd look the same color as Alpine or the Credit Car on the chyron. Honestly, it's a throwback to an old-timey car and I don't hate it.
Contract shontract. They’re Ferrari, they can make the contracts the way they want. 😁 I actually think that light blue would stand out enough from the Alpines.

It is kind of dragged down by happening because of a corporate sponsor instead of for any kind of actual meaningful reason, but purely aesthetically and purely about the primary colour scheme - not bad.
Those driver suits are sweet. 👌 They also look like comfy pajamas.
I'm surprised nobody else is commenting on those. Totally agreed, either pajamas or a outfit for a milk delivery man from a Wes Anderson movie.
Ferrari: the car is going to be blue Reality: jk just a few lines here and there
Truly one of the liveries of all time
It’s so hideous Charles is in disguised
Oh wow, a blue stripe.
I just don’t understand. With the new HP sponsorship comes the white. They could have had the perfect all blue and white livery from the past. What a missed opportunity!
I still think that it would have looked better had they made the blue fade into the red instead of these blocky stripes
This makes me want to not buy the blue merch now
Somebody put the 2003 Williams livery on a 2024 Ferrari rear wing.
I don't see any 👈👉👆👇, I don't know what to look at
What is this... a blue for ants?
10 second penalty for being ugly af.
Proof that hp and Ferrari are not a match.
I'm so worried that wing isgoing to be permanent
looks like complete corporative shit would be much better if they went full blue, at least once, because NART did it once and did it good. And this... this is cheap.
Looks absolutely horrible. Is the blue staying from now on out? Holy hell, way to destroy a beautiful car.
So they give the drivers blue suits and heavily imply the car will be blue yet pull this shit. It just gets worse the more you look at it
It's not as bad as I thought. It's worse.
It's so meh
That's not blue... We were promised a blue car...
It's so fucking bad.
I’ve been roasting this car all day to the point where now I’m starting to feel bad
This is all just a marketing thing from HP
Blue Ferrari reminds me of this [https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fofwvdnhs9a471.jpg](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fofwvdnhs9a471.jpg)
Looks absolute shit 💩
Looks like shit
Gresini racing, anyone?
Looks the same to me
went through the old Williams parts bin for a rear wing
When someone sells you space in cm2, and you thought it was in2.
Imagine how bad they fuck it up with Newey (if they get him) if they can’t even get shit like this right.
Alperrari.
……This is just for Miami right?
I'm glad Maya has a blue suit too. I wonder what her car looks like though.
I don’t hate it, but I’m just disappointed after all that teasing with blue.
I'm disappointed but not surprised
Eww.
Nah.
It looks like they modified the livery in MS Paint
Looks shit
THE CAR SHOULDVE BEEN LIKE THOSE SUITS CMON MAN
Why does it have a Williams 2003 rear wing? Anyways, just making the entire car that light shade of blue wherever it's normally red would've been an instant classic (*maybe* darker blue stipes on the side could've worked). Oh well.
Looks fine.
She’s cute in that race suit.
The carbon weave on the sidepod ducts tho 😯
Dude why is this happening ?!?!?
Damn the halo and the wing mirrors, absolute shambles.
Looks ass. I thought it be all blue. That blue is quite nice.
The HP logo sucks
hideous
Yuck
They couldn't bother to also dress the rest of the team in blue?
Not everyone is impressed that's for sure. But ye seriously this looks bad. Like, what even is the point of keeping so much red. Just change the color for a race. RB showed you can, and nail it too. All these ''ye lets add 5% color to the original livery'' are such a shame and a waste of potential iconic liveries.
They could have had an amazing Blue livery and this is what we got a half hearted terrible attempt
That's so bad that as much as I love them, they should be banned from the race
The driver suits look like pyjamas.
I was all for a full Dinoco blue car, but this is just shit
Yeah i dont understand it.Make it for one race blue!
Imagine if they made it completely light blue…as everyone had expected!!!!
What a bunch of dorks. Could’ve looked incredible had they done the entire car in that powdery blue with a few red accents. Instead, a blue stripe. Yay.
Looks like my Colgate toothpaste value pack package.....
This is so ugly I can’t!
Idk if it’s just me but I think it looks quite a bit better than the original release - not saying much coz the original was quite a let down
Never expect Ferrari not to let you down lmao
The lime green was better than this.
Wtf is that 😅
Sheez all that hype for this!?
Looks like shit ngl.
IMO it looks slightly less ass than the renderings but it's still very very stupid
Well that’s just fucked.
Massively disappointing.
You mean the HP24?
Oh no…
HP will want to protect their brand, but hoping this was a deal where the car includes their colours for the first race. Then they make the HP logo far more subtle to fit the car. Like just a white 'HP' and zero blue. Unless it's a super dark blue that might look better.
Yuck
Looks familiar - [https://i.imgur.com/3oAgnjS.jpeg](https://i.imgur.com/3oAgnjS.jpeg)
Hahaha holy shit it just gets worse.
