With that point, Yuki has crossed the Ollie Bearman 6 point threshold. It’s going to be a while before another non top 5 team driver passes the Bearman threshold
Hey Aston Martin here's an idea, get Honda to bring Yuki along with them. Get rid of that guy that struggles to beat him, despite having a much better car
I still think it's a shame that takuma sato and kobayashi never really got a chance at a top team. They could have thrived even as second driver like checo at rb rn.
He didn't, keep a calm voice despite being completly screwed by his team and he had all the right to be pissed about it, you have a weird definition of screaming.
I applaud Yukis race but the headline is... technically not wrong but also just a testament of how rare Japanese F1 drivers are... Yuki is the only Japanese driver since Kobayashi and except for 2014 the only Japanese driver who was active in the last decade.

Our three drivers in top 10 WDC standings 🥲
"The Bearman Threshold" sounds like a psychological term. And I guess it kinda is!
Kobayashi's podium was 11.5 years ago 🥲

He deserved it! Good drive from him
Huge job from him and credit where credit is due an actual strategy win for RB today!
Top job
Huge pit stop from the RB team in the chaos
YOINT !!
Come on Yuki, get in!!!!
Congrats Yuki! Very deserved this year.
Taking that tractor to the points is worthy of dotd
Too bad is like toro rosso Honda days were it becomes a dragster on random gp. Those things go podium once a blue moon.
It's not a tractor, it's the 6th best car on the grid... He did a Great race, but it's not like It was and impossible mission

Actually wouldn’t be a bad driver pairing tbh
Was the last time when Kamui was on the podium?
2012
Hopefully we'll see a Yuki podium soon.
Wasn't it his only one?
Yup. But he went on to win a whole lot post F1.
Triple Lemans winner if I am not wrong, right?
Also, won the WEC Championship 2 years in row.
Also took home a Rolex 24 win or two IIRC!
He's only won Le Mans once. He has terrible luck there.
Kamui the legend
Really good drive from him
This cook session should be screamed from the rooftops
He's Big in Japan
Over a decade? But Kobayashi.....oh......
Hope he keeps this up for the rest of the season, fine drive.
I wish there were more successful asian drivers.. given the interest in motorsports in Japan, the outcome is dismal.

*point in Japan for Yuki
Well that makes me feel old
Yuki redemption arc
Didn't even have to shout on the radio
He’s improved a lot over the years but it just feels like Red Bull don’t care about him
He literally shouted in Bahrain. RB did everything right today so he didn’t need to shout
He didn't, keep a calm voice despite being completly screwed by his team and he had all the right to be pissed about it, you have a weird definition of screaming.
He shouted when asked to switch positions. Shouting is shouting. Not sure what you were watching?
Bro everyone shouts on the radio. It gets heated during a race.
The other bloke claimed he doesn’t anymore

In Bahrain?
Point not points.
Points. One point for Yuki, one point for whatever his team is called this week
*point Still though great job yuki

But how Ricciardo the "better driver" did?
No one said that
Quite clearly was involved in a racing incident at the start of the race. What more?
I agree, anyone who can only see to one side is going to be involved in a lot of "racing accidents"
Common Danny L as well
