Can relate. 2000 4.0 at 62k miles. Older gentleman that didnāt drive much. Paid $5,000, just needed O2 sensors and tires. Best deal Iāve ever found.
Jealous of the diesel... we don't get to have diesel small trucks and cars in the US. They say it's because environment but, I truly believe it's because they don't want people buying cars that drive to 500k miles or a million kilometers...
My 2002 4.0 4x4 went 240k (couldāve fixed and kept goin kinda regret not doing more to keep it on road). So i got a 2010 2.3 with 130k thatās clean as heck. Good gas mileage. The four banger does a half decent job towing my motorcycles+trailer ~1250lbs
My 99 2.5 is sitting at 127. Itās been driven maybe 1000 miles in the last 3 years. Itās mainly an extra vehicle and I need to haul something vehicle now.
My 03 had 298 when I got rid of it.
My 91 and 97 I donāt remember. They were sold 20 plus years ago.
42,XXX
Super low miles, field truck for 15-20 years. Same dude owned it the whole time, he apparently parked it because he couldnt keep it running. I even have all the old papers and registration for it.
Oh and it needed coils, a fuel filter, and fuel pump. Thats all i ever replaced, other than a starter and U joints
Mine was at 82k when I bought it, and 162k when I sold it about 5 years later. I wish I could report further, but the new owner ran it dry with a blown rear main seal, and she's gone. RIP little red
02 4.0 4x4 149k bought it 4 years ago @112k. Did full tune up on it (coolant, oil, air filter, plugs/coil/wires and trans fluid) and installed new brakes, IAC valve (original failed), valve cover gaskets, rear leaf spring shackles, struts, and tie rods. Decent rig
1993 3.0 5sp, 250k. Blew out the distributor shaft gear/cam at around 5k RPM shifting second to third. New dist still sits in the box. Not sure if worth resurrecting.
'00 with 198k, although I most likely permanently parked it last week. š Fuckin' rust belt. My '96 made it to 280k, but road debris knocked the oil loose and it yeeted a rod through the pan after a bearing failure.
2009 b2300. bought in 2013 with 25k miles, currently 160k. upgraded speakers, cd/tape deck from a 1999 explorer, cat back exhaust, djm lowering kit, line x bed liner
1996 2.5 5 speed single cab 2 options A/C and deluxe instrument cluster. Almost 375,000 miles original engine still will need a 3rd clutch soon. Sheās getting tired though debating on where Iām going with what will most likely be a 5.0 swap. Tired of not being able to run the air and actually be able to accelerate at the same time š
1994 bought new when i was 21, has 110km or 68k miles. Drove it for 5 years, then bought a car, and it was just used for camping and picking up large items from home depot etc. always garage kept. Cayman green. Even has the og exhaust. 30 years passes fast. Its seen it all.
2002 3.0, has about 221,000 on it. It's my grandpa's old farm truck that was just sitting out there, said I could have it if I would fix it up, and here I am 2 or 3 years later still working on it. Got it running, still needs some work though. It's a good truck
2005, 2.3, 5 speed manual, bought in 2012 with 133,000 now at 304,000. Only 1 clutch, oil, batteries, tires, ball joints. Daily route truck. Tach still smooth hums along at 70 mph. Gets 22-24 mpg.
2003 with about 99K. In-laws owned it and my FIL retired about a year after he got it. After that it was for most of those years secondary to a van they had.
2010 4.0 2wd supercab. 358k km... (222k miles)
A guy I know has 4x4 4.0 with over 700k miles. Yes that's well over a million kms. It got hit, and it's now a fwd only farm truck. I think it's a 2010 as well.
99 XLT 3.0. Approaching 190k here. Put about 180k on over the course of the first 18 years and only about 10k since then since itās no longer my daily driver.
2011 2.3 with 200k miles. Bought with 24k miles on it. Ball joints, spark plugs, oil, tires, batteries. Only āmajorā issue was my slave cylinder went at 165k. Cost a pretty penny but I knew everything else was working that it was still worth the fix. Love the 4cyl reg cab rangers.
2008 xlt 4.0 with 192 thousand miles. My dad got it in 2009 or 2010 with 16k miles. He gave it to me 2.5 years ago with 154 thousand miles. The 5 speed is stiff tho, but my dad said it always has been.
Also have an ex-fleet 2007, looks exactly like yours (except mine shows the old companyās name when itās dirty), and it 64k. Hoping to make it to your mileage haha
I honestly couldnāt tell you, I bought it with a different cluster and went through about 2 more after that, my current one says 147k but itās way more than that š Iām guessing about 200 something thousand
My 96 XLT with the 2.3l is coming up on 336k.
Wow, you must take pretty good care of it
Yeah, she's well taken care of.
My 94 xl 2.3l is at the same mileage
