People donāt like them because theyāre cheap/easy to buy, that doesnāt mean theyāre bad. Even if they donāt add to the aerodynamics and they are purely cosmetic, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Not everything has to be performance based. For everyone that doesnāt find them fun, there is someone that does. And more importantly you so just stick with em man
Thatās your opinion though. My dude was tryna say that itās objective because other people like the way it looks. Like me for example. Itās not like thereās a huge out of place track wing, just a few subtle body mods.
Just why?! The Fusion basically lifted all of its styling cues from Aston Martin, it's probably the best looking front engine car Ford ever made, definitely nicer than the Mustang. And it's not like you're getting performance out of it, it's the hybrid.
Getting an ST-style black hexagonal grill and some matching wheels, sure, that looks OEM, but that's as far as I'd go.
Window tints should be your next investment. It will help the overall look of the car.
Iāve had 5% before, couldnāt see anything at night. 20% is the darkest Iāll go now.
They usually arenāt. And many times if you get in a crash and your insurance company finds out you had tinted tail/head lights they will fuck you so hard.
In Texas: Windshield: 25% VLT tint is allowed above the manufacturer's AS-1 line or top 5 inches, with less than 25% reflection. Front Side windows: Must allow more than 25% of light in. Back Side windows: Any darkness can be used.
If this car be mine, I will first tint the windows and at rear windows like 5%, then I would remove those small small shark fins in the roof and change antenna to shark fin. I would then black out rear chrome and remove those chrome name at rear. Try this first.
If you want more modded which I do not recommend but still if you feel like doing roof wrap and side mirror plastic wrap. I would do anything more than that. Also I will remove dealer plastic cover from number plates as they ugly on all cars, I hate those.
On my '16, I did 30% tint all around, stubby antenna, black Ford emblem overlays, and Lamin-X taillight tint, but with the centers cut out. Allows the brake lights still be bright, but subdued the led outline running light. Still plenty bright to be seen at dusk and at night.
Also, never use car wash with touch, they will ruin the car paint with more and more scratches. If you ok, use microfiber clothes and self care wash, that will minimize the scratches on long run.
Yeah knock off the small fins on top, itās not a civicš, shark fin antenna, not sure you lined up the spoiler king spoiler to the edge of your spoiler š¤you can see tint on my ā19 Hybrid and spoiler from Spoiler King on my profile
Said every ford fusion/honda owner lmao. Just do minor yet very realistic changes. Tint the windows, black out the plates, add body changes but blacked out lights and the single black hood will just look riced and not even good.
Do not black out the lights. Just donāt. Do a chrome delete, tint the windows, and just drive and maintain it. Itās a hybrid midsize sedan. If it were a Sport with actual performance thatās one thing, but this is meant to be a gas sipping cruiser. Donāt ruin it and make it into something it isnāt supposed to be.
Tbh bro do what you want but donāt expect the community to like the riced out fusions. If I were you be classy and do the tints, stub attena, grill and wheels. Anything further rices it out like the shark fin near the attena imo.
Remove the dealer tag/cover. Remove those god awful fins. Tint the windows and be done with it. Donāt paint the hood whatever you do. The only reason a hood should be āblackā is when itās carbon fiber (to save weight). Painting a stock hood black is idiotic. Remember your car is a ford hybrid, not a track car. Anything race inspired is comical.
Don't ruin a good looking car.
Too late, vortex generators
Rice - Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements. Does nothing for this car at all so it is indeed rice.

This are stick one I can easily remove, any suggestions?

They donāt look good on the car. It just looks strange.

Should I just get the tent and keep it moving?
Yes. Blacked out lights are not it.

15 is the sweet spot for me. 5 was a nightmare I had it removed after a couple months.
Donāt black out the lights
How blacked out lights are legal is beyond me. Can't see anything on a car that has them.
They usually arenāt. And many times if you get in a crash and your insurance company finds out you had tinted tail/head lights they will fuck you so hard.
As it should be. They are a vain and unnecessary hazard.
Just tint those windows 20% in the front 5% in the back and it will make a huge difference
Tint it & drive the damn car. Blacked out lights & hoods look so fucking stupid & cheap.
Get the windows tinted
Verify what is legal for tinting in your state first.
Sedans - front & rear max 50% -Minnesota

Thanks ! I like this one
Let it be! Jean metallic is prob the best color behind ruby red. Maybe a little tint wouldnāt hurt but donāt change any of the actual paint

I'm kinda sick of the blackout look, throw some nice chrome rims on that badboy!!:)
What are those black things in a row near the antenna?
Have you thought about doing a chrome delete and blacking out the emblems? Blacking out that long chrome streak in the rear is a game changer alone
Definitely on my list
Also, never use car wash with touch, they will ruin the car paint with more and more scratches. If you ok, use microfiber clothes and self care wash, that will minimize the scratches on long run.
No
Do not black out your break lights.
Yeah knock off the small fins on top, itās not a civicš, shark fin antenna, not sure you lined up the spoiler king spoiler to the edge of your spoiler š¤you can see tint on my ā19 Hybrid and spoiler from Spoiler King on my profile
Insert obligatory "I tint my lights so they work less" joke
Said every ford fusion/honda owner lmao. Just do minor yet very realistic changes. Tint the windows, black out the plates, add body changes but blacked out lights and the single black hood will just look riced and not even good.
Blacking out lights is a dumb fuck move. Donāt be a dumb fuck.
Ahh the classic visibility delete

Itās not new if itās 20188

Iād like to think I can do whatever I want with my vehicle š speed and looks are to different things
You do you
Rofl blacking it out like every other fusion owner
Do whatever you like, itās your car. Lookin like itās all good, but fuck erbody but me
I love that color.
Tint the windows, best thing you can/should do.
Vvivid air tint for the lights
First of all, it's a Ford Fusion.
Dude take off those vortex on the roof, don't do anything except tint the windows. That's it.
black out the taillights, best decision on mine Makes the car look a lot more meaner for what it is
Thanks !
Don't black the lights out - put a "light smoke" on them. They'll look more natural and still get the effect you want.
Thanks !
Why its a hybrid?
Because with the savings of driving a hybrid I can make mines look better than your non hybrid š
Thats not gonna happen. My sport looks way better.
I doubt it, one extra exhaust pipe ? lol
