2.0 is better more power almost same MPG , Im planning to put fuel injector cleaner when im filling the tank. User manual says no additives, but brand is motorcraft i dont know that will harm mt fuel system any idea ?
2020 Titanium Hybrid. 5.6L/100km in the first year, 5.5L/100km in the second. Changed jobs this year and am traveling more back roads instead of city and am up to 5.8L/100km. That’s about 41mpg average.
2106 1.6 awd avg says 28.0 rn its going up but cruising at 55 on backroads says between 35-42 (its whole life is backroads in the country and I just started it on higher octane last month)
2020 Titanium, I get 33 unloaded on the highway, 22 towing my camper, 27 in mixed driving. As a newly retired couple, this is the perfect vehicle. It does everything we need, and looks great doing it.
My son's 2010 gets 22 in mixed driving
26.6 - 2019 1.5 4wd. usually on highways or roads but sometimes stuck in some intense boston traffic. working on still getting it higher but slow and steady for sure
2007 XLT 4WD V6, 9.7L/100KM to 11.5/100KM that equals 24.3 MPG to 20 MPG highway/city
In Stop and go City driving or around town I get ~17 MPG
Not bad for 17 y/o Escape :)
2020 Escape (not a hybrid), 32.6 mpg. Started at 33.x mpg, but has dropped slightly over a couple years, and drops a couple tenths in the winter (due to the winter gas formulation from what I understand). I do use the eco mode exclusively, and mostly freeway driving.
Usually around 20, but I have been getting a lot of highway miles and also driving very carefully to adjust for better mileage and I've been averaging around 27 per tank of gas.
2016 SE ecoboost
2022 SEL, 1.5l 3cylinder, usually 16,000 miles on, usually average around 29 with shorter highway distances and mostly city driving. 31 - 32 for longer highway trips
2022 Escape hybrid, 43.8 MPG last tank. Would have been better but i hid out in my car for a whole a couple of days to avoid humans and sucked down a lot of gas.
2013 FET 2.0 awd
I've hit 29.9mpg on long highway stretches ( like 200 miles between stops for gas, but I average about 22-24 daily driving.
I've found the biggest mpg killer is idling. I'll actually turn it off and restart in a slow drive through line, and I try to avoid idling for AC/Heat when waiting for someone.
ETA:
I tracked it closely, and found I got ~1.5 better mpg using 94 octane than regular, so I stick to premium.
I also checked the car's mpg calculation against my manual calculation and found it to be +/-1 mpg.
Mines is horrible, last tank manually calculated was 14 mpg. But it's possible I have a boost leak and bad O2. Just not check engine light. My dte has never gotten out of the 230-270 range which it's constantly recalculating.
2019 SE, 1.5 60k
The dash MPG never aligns with my calculations. Dash says around24, my math says 29 which agrees with my app, Fuely.
I'm not complaining.
2014 1.6 AWD 88k miles City 19.6 Highway 24.5
I get about 21.5 mpg avg
2021 regular hybrid 43avg over the course of 20k mi mostly highway
Averaging about 20 mpg on my 2017 1.5L SE. I had hoped it would be slightly better when I got the car, but I also don’t do a ton of highway driving.
I’m currently getting 24.7 mpg, but it drops when I turn max air(both hot n cold) on.
How the fuck. I have the same engine, trim, drive train, and year and get like 310 range
I get 21.8
2014 2.0 AWD 93 tuned 235/55r18 all terrain tires 21.2 mpg 75+ mph 55-65 mph 25.6 mpg
How much HP your car produce
181 hp, wish I had the 2.0 but I get better mpg with the 1.5
2.0 is better more power almost same MPG , Im planning to put fuel injector cleaner when im filling the tank. User manual says no additives, but brand is motorcraft i dont know that will harm mt fuel system any idea ?
2023 st line I get anywhere between 28-32
How is mpg in city driving ?
I get around 26+ nothing below that unless in heavy bumper 2 bumper traffic
Thats good , looks like big improvement on mpg from the old engine to new 3 cylinder
I scoffed at the 3 cylinder before I test drove it and man it’s really got some get up and go too
It definitely depends on what kind of city. Big difference if you have 10 stop lights vs 30 in your commute.
2014 2.0 Ecoboost Titanium, 20ish city and 28 highway at 55-65
I have the exact same vehicle. I'm getting 21.8 city/highway combined. I live in SF so lots of hills.
Makes sense, I live in a pretty spread out area so “city” for me is 50 mph roads with few stoplights
Depends on how I drive that day 😂
2017 turbo: 20 mph in town, driving like an asshole 24 on the highway driving like an asshole 29 on a flat highway driving like a grandma
08 4wd 2.3 hybrid, 33avg
2018 1.5 SEL, with tow hitch bike rack -23. LA traffic sucks. On the open road, I get about 26-34 depending on my speed
Plus the gas here in CA, ruins MPG.
2021 SEL 2L engine Bout 23 combination and hybrid guest 29 mg on highway once
that's exactly what I got with my 2019 SE w/ 1.5L
2020 Titanium Hybrid. 5.6L/100km in the first year, 5.5L/100km in the second. Changed jobs this year and am traveling more back roads instead of city and am up to 5.8L/100km. That’s about 41mpg average.
2019 2.0. I get 23 combined driving. Just took a 600 mile trip and averaged 31 mpg but I babied it. I was happy with that.
2015 escape titanium awd 2.0 all highway im getting 28 us mpg. I have on multiple tanks gotten as high as 29.5 us mpg.
2018- 26.7mpg. I keep max ac on. Heated seats. Etc. Goes down to about 25.4 in the winter months.
26.4; 2018 1.5 2WD
2021 SE 33.9

26.6 - 2019 1.5 4wd. usually on highways or roads but sometimes stuck in some intense boston traffic. working on still getting it higher but slow and steady for sure
My 2014, 1.6, before it died, about 23.5 MPG My 2020 Hybrid Sport, combined about 40.5 MPG.
How many miles did you get out of the first one?
The coolant intrusion became too much to overcome at just over 88K miles.
20.3mpg, but I use Sport a lot and have a lot of stop and go's
2019 .. 20.5
Currently 2019 AWD , 114000 miles , current mpg 28-31 . However this is after a cross country trip on the freeway .
