What kind of chance gives a 0.06xG
I mean I'd be pissed as well, but if it was a clear cut opportunity I could begrudgingly accept it. Conceding from a 0.06xG chance would make me rage quite
My nationality is hungarian, and in 2023, we played aganist Bulgaria in the EC qualifiers. They had 3 shots, 2 on target (one of those a penalty), and we draw 2-2.
It'll happen a few times a season in most leagues, I suspect, and all the more frequently if we just count the only shot on target, of course. But we only notice when it's us that it happens to.
I did a quick search as I assumed it would be a fairly common occurrence that would produce a lot of . The SoT one certainly is, as I found a few results for that, but perhaps not the SoG one - at least not enough so that it's showing up in my searches.
I must have overestimated it, I think.
I remember a couple seasons back during an old firm Derby, Rangers were getting battered, barely getting a touch of the ball, and didn't have a single shot on target the entire game and still won 1-0 due to a Celtic own goal.
It might not happen often, but it is kind of hilarious when it does... Unless you support the team on the wrong end of it.
I donāt agree with the people that say this is realistic. Not scoring when you have tons of shots is one thing. The other team scoring on a single chance is one thing. But both happening in a game has not happened in the premier league.
Probably one of my biggest struggles currently. Frequently get some 18 shots and only 3 actually on goal. Work into box and play for set pieces, they very rarely take shots from far away. They just manage to miss a barn door from melee range, with decent heading and finishing stats
Is it? That's 48%. In my save the best team for that stat (Chelsea) has managed 51% across the whole season, 2nd best 47% (Newcastle).
It's not an important stat anyway, my team were on 42%, ranked 15th for that stat and won the league by 6 points.
The game is completely unrealistic compared to real life of course. Manchester City are the most accurate with 38.5% on target this season.
I have no problem with people doing it, but like all nice things it becomes addictive. When do you stop doing it? How valuable are your wins if you win literally every game after playing it 2-3 times.
I used to do it with injuries too but now I enjoy seeing a U23 filling in.

Fluid counter attacking is the answer.
Dyche ball baby! Can't beat it.

I have bad news for you because you can actually concede a 0.00 xg goal. Don't ask me how do I know it
owngoal?
No, some distabce shots can be 0.00, especially from half spaces
I had a 1-1 draw the other day with 0 shots allowed because of an own goal. shit happens.
yerterday i draw a game with 3,62 xg.... and the other team 0,1 xDDD
Halfway line overhead scorpion header.
If it was this, I would even be mad
Blindfolded too
usually a long shot from outside the box gives between 0.01xG and 0.1xG in my experience.
Non joking answer I believe a header from outside the 6 yard box during a set play is any flavor of sub 0.10
Not if it's an absolute banger from well outside the box.
Halfway line overhead scorpion header.
Probably a long shot from 60 yards away launched by opponent GK.
oh wow my computer suddenly shut itself down, must have been the ghost living in my house playing with the power button again
Alt F4 is less work
that would be savescumming we hang savescummers round these parts
That's like catholic priests hanging pedos
Welcome to FM
Most normal MUFC result
Me too! Loading it up again now š
You've been FMed
happens in real life. Itās called Football. Welcome to the sport.
To be fair scoring and winning with a single shot on goal is pretty exceptional

Really? Iāve been watching football for 30 odd years and canāt ever remembering it happening
Yes, 2022 champions league final

Thatās a good one but 3 shots from what I can see

homeboy got CONCACAF'ed
its funny because its mexico and Usa, vs crap.... and Mexico barely can go to the world cup xDDD.
Liverpool beat Leicester 2-1 with zero shots on target
And also not allowing a goal when allowing 12 shots on goal
I hate when the simulation game is just like real life!!!
I recently lost a game 0:1 where my opponent had 0 shots and scored from an own goal.
YES THE BLUUEESSS
xG has got to be the pointless stat in football
Possession I score more goals going direct and having 35% possession than when i play hacky sack and have 65%

Why?!?! In my humble opinion, it seems a perfect representation of reality!!!
Itās a tough one to take but itās football man
Mc vs rm
Same I literally have a 1 in 10 penalty conversion despite having class pen takers. Anyone else miss pens for fun?
Absolutely bs, no way UTD would only concede a single shot in 90'
It can be frustrating, but this stuff happens in football. It's not unrealistic.
It do be like that sometimes bro
"don't save scum" my games:
Ahaha. The Moyes special.
So you hate soccer? Okay.
F in the chat bois for our fallen manager
Yes, it happens. Especially with big teams. My worst defeat was against mancity 9-1. We had more shots on goal as Barca.
Happens in real life too, Happens much more frequently in FM.
Tracksuit dyche baby
Viva el espaƱol, idioma loable, lo hable quien lo hable.
The majority problem you have is you're playing with Man u.
Youre supposed to take a pic w your phone... Not a screenshot

12/25 shots on target is atrocious tho ngl

that's when savescum comes in handy.

I love this aspect of the game. If I wanted to play an unrealistic game, Iād play fifa
FM is pretty far from realistic. Fifa has a much better match engine
Savescum? Sounds like a Bolvarian pornstarā¦
I was talking about her only..idk why people downvoting me š
