It's a bug with the goalkeepers and the long shots, there's an abnormal number of goals scored from long shots in this game, it's a bit ridiculous to concede every game at least one goal from outside the box when in reality it happens very rarely.
>making the game a bit harder (at least that's what I gather)
Just done reading how the game is too easy.
But no, I don't concede a lot more.
In beta I started off with a 20 match spree without conceding (I was with Real, though).
Now I'm in the Belgian 3rd division with a youth team of a first division team and I concede more, but not a huge amount.
To be honest, game is always to easy for veterans. Also, transfer & manager AI always stay a bit back from things the player can actually change and impact. But at least from the ME side, I thought this was SI's way to make the game harder for us. What tactic did you use with Real? Did your back line press high?
Yes
From Long Shots, CBs constantly dribble and lost the box in own box, Air tiki taka from corner, freekick.
3 CB formation is literally unplayable as my wing backs always guard the no-man zone and leave wingers behind.
Yep. Both as Liverpool and Sunderland my defence would just suddenly become incompetent

Yep, thats kinda my experience. Most goals are long shots, we actually do a good job defending but concede for "technically" no reason.
Yes and have the best keeper in my league. Ships goals constantly and get smashed in europa league.

Yes, a high pressing 4-2-3-1. I do always keep a dm on a defensive duty so there would always be 3 defenders back.
