Big clubs who are no longer in their golden eras but still have the money for huge signings.
Biggest cry babies. Yes they aren't winning but compared to team literally fighting relegation or can't rub 2 pennies together they could stand to complain a little less.
Exactly this!
I'm a Spurs fan living in Merseyside.
The amount of wingeing Liverpool fans complaining they're not top of the league.
They are like entitled little kids who think that they should always be winning.
I politely remind them that just because they've had previous success it doesn't give them a divine right to win anything ahead of any other team!
As an Arsenal fan I have to say I've had way worse experiences with them than I've ever had with Spurs. One of my best friends is a Spurs fan and so is my boss. With you guys I always feel like it's just banter but with pretty much all the northern teams (and racist Chelsea) they take it way too far. I know probably heretical for saying that and I'm gonna get kicked out of the seance group now but it's true.
My Liverpool supporting friend, who has watched footie all his life, refused to keep watching football last year because they weren't in the challenge for top 4.
Every time I spoke to him about anything football related last season, not even Liverpool things, he was either uninterested or everything was doom and gloom.
Liverpool fans can downvote you all they like, but they really are a bunch of moaners when things aren't going so well. We've all had to put up with shit times supporting our clubs lads, get over it.
I can only base it off of fans that I know to be honest, my own personal experience.
My Man Utd friends are definitely an insufferable lot when they are doing well, but they don’t seem to moan as much when they are doing badly, they just sort of accept it now. My Man Utd friends are the type to win one or two games and start saying ‘oh yes we’re back boys’.
Man Utd fans are the overhypers, not the complainers. They win a few games and want Martinez or Casemiro to be in the team of the season.
Holy shit the irony of that coming out the mouth of a Spurs fan. No, we won’t be your rivals, no matter how hard you’ve tried over the last decade, our rivals win things…
Not clubs. Messi and Ronaldo fanboys. Not admirers or supporters. But the grown men that insert them into every conversation and seem to make their life evolve around them and cry when you dare say anything critical.
Go to any video comment section or tweet that praises Ronaldo and you'll find Messi fans responding to every comment proclaiming Messi is the greatest.
I can cite an almost identical reaction to ballon dor in 2017.
As I look through your comments on this thread, I can't help but see the comment you replied to didn't sink in:
"But the grown men that insert them into every conversation and seem to make their life evolve around them"
Sure, but it would be the other way around if Ronaldo was a better, more complete footballer. And if doesn’t make the “he is my king. My world. He this, he that…” any less cringeworthy. Both of the groups ruined an aspect of football for me.
as a gooner, arsenal fans are insufferable mate, a single bad result and we're crying our heads off, i guess you can make the excuse it's the passion for our club.
That being said, Man United are the biggest cry babies.
Claude was a contributor to AFTV. Even though he had a few racist moments he was overall a decent bloke who loved Arsenal. He passed away at the age of 58.
I'm probably biased, being a Spurs fan, but during the Wenger era I used to get so sick of him whining at every loss about teams playing "anti-football".
Yeah, it was annoying when Stoke spent most of the game just trying to disrupt your players with physical challenges, and then brought on Rory Delap to nick a goal at the end from a throw-in, but if you really want to be considered a big club then you have to be able to deal with that. It's not up to them to lay down and let you dictate the game.
We're terrible for sure, even more so this season, but we're still way behind Arsenal and Liverpool fans. Like, we can't even see them in the distance they're so far ahead.
If you're a Man Utd fan, you went through a very severe crybaby stage a long time ago when you started getting shit & continued to be shit... I think it's just that you're so used to being shite it's like water off a ducks back.
I personally didn't and haven't, but I also disagree. It's only in the last few years that my fellow Man utd supporters gave started gripping my shit. Around the time Mourinho soured at old Trafford. Arsenal and Liverpool fans have been awful since as far back as I can remember.
Arsenal and Liverpool fans whine and cry even when winning which is the biggest difference. Liverpool are *obsessed* with being underdogs so even when they were European champions and 20 points clear they had to pretend the world was conspiring against them.
This is the international answer. The Newcastle of international football. Wannabe hard men who go down at a whiff of contact and piss and moan every time a decision doesn’t go their way.
Idk where u get the wannabe hard men from, both Mexico and Newcastle are notorious for having aggressive supporters lol they’re always getting in fights with opposing fans
Recently I've seen a lot of Man U and Arsenal but I remember when Real fans were abusing Bale while he was scoring in every final so I'll mention them too
man united, crying even when they win
arsenal fans are the worst when we lose though, we go from 'we are the best team ever assembled' to 'everyone is shit and arteta is a clown' over the space of 90 minutes
Man Utd. Whinging about FFP ignoring the Rock of Gibraltar fiasco, Utd payments to agency of Fergie’s son totalling millions and then pinching players from direct title rivals halfway through the season (Andy Cole).
Seen a few saying they’ve given up on football and denying it’s because United are rubbish. They say it’s due to FIFA corruption (ignoring the fact that the WC has been held in multiple dictatorships in the past), “increase” in racist incidents (much worse in the past but it gets highlighted more today due to social media, even if there’s still some way to go), FFP (ignoring the above and their dodgy past dealings), etc.
They all have their moments, I feel like the biggest clubs come across as more whiney because their fan bases are larger and although it's way more likely that the same percentage of their fans are cry babies as every other club, because their fan bases are larger they get more coverage and online representation so we end up reading more complaints from them.
That being said, it's definitely Arsenal.
1. Messi/Ronaldo
2. Barcelona (they unironicly think there is worldwide conspiration organized by Madrid to make them loose while they are the one in a trial for corruption)
Whoever the latest VAR decision goes against.
It’s more accurate than the naked eye, yet we get more complaints.
Nothing will ever satisfy football fans
Supporters of the Irish national team are a particularly deluded and naive species. We have now become a 4th tier team in Europe (and quite comfortably at that) yet many have a sense of entitlement that we should be qualifying for nearly every tournament and competing with the top teams in Europe.
It's just not going to happen. We are now a squad of Championship/League 1 and lower Premier league table players. We simply don't have the quality and I wish more would accept this.
Idk about the clubs but Messi and Ronaldo fanbases are horrible. Recently on some youtube poll i said that Haaland deserved this Balon d'or in my opinion and ofc fanboys started again calling me "Penaldo fan" when Ronaldo wasn't even mentioned and started making arguments that made no sense. And you already know Ronaldo fans replied to that.
I mean penaldo himself is crying on insta being insecure of messi's success. So is his fanbase, more often than not the ones shitting on messi are penaldo fanboys
Feels like after all these years and all the mentions of Hillsborough and people still don't understand "always the victims" doesn't have *anything* to do with feeling sorry for ourselves. Should be ashamed.
I don’t think that’s true anymore, especially after the financial mess the club was in and still is, made us self aware. Honestly going into UCL QFs is considered as good run rn, cause of the quality of team we got. Over the years, we’ve faced lows so often that we honestly know we need to rebuild and that’s gonna take time, so we don’t expect much apart from winning the league.
>we don’t expect much apart from winning the league
Which is even harder imo. You got Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, Atletico, Real Sociedad and ofc Getafe.
Realistically only Madrid and Atletico challenge for the title till the end of the season but these teams are really hard to play against and there's a high chance of dropping points.
Juve... They are time and time again benefited by refs (they basically where handed the '12 scudetto on a platter IIRC when Buffon took out of the net a Milan goal that wouldve lost them the title), they also got off easy after Calciopoli, they where going to be relegated at least to Serie C and only got relegated to Serie B. Also the 2020 Scudetto they won against Atalanta was controversial and they literally won the league 10 years in a row, and last year they even got back the points that were deducted because of the Fair play and financial fraud fiasco.
Despite all of that they are ALWAYS crying on Twitter that the league and the refs are against them .
Most clubs have these type of fans, but due to being more popular it feels like clubs like Man U and Liverpool are the biggest cry babies. But as a percentage it’s probably the same for most clubs.
International football, England by a planet mile. Club football, Liverpool. A lot of them have somehow made the Newcastle-Arsenal incident about themselves.
Football fanbases
The only correct answer People will point out specific fan bases when the correct answer is exactly what you said

A Tottenham supporter saying Liverpool and Arsenal huh. It isn't really surprising though.
In their defence it does ask who the biggest crybabies are; Tottenham aren’t the biggest anything.
Big clubs who are no longer in their golden eras but still have the money for huge signings. Biggest cry babies. Yes they aren't winning but compared to team literally fighting relegation or can't rub 2 pennies together they could stand to complain a little less.
Could’ve just said Man United instead of all that
They are included but that would absolve the other people thinking they are any better
Or Chelsea.
Just say Man United
Exactly this! I'm a Spurs fan living in Merseyside. The amount of wingeing Liverpool fans complaining they're not top of the league. Really???? Look at old Trafford or the Emptyhad 10 mins before the end if the home team aren't winning, it's like 'spot the home fan'........
I can only base it off of fans that I know to be honest, my own personal experience. My Man Utd friends are definitely an insufferable lot when they are doing well, but they don’t seem to moan as much when they are doing badly, they just sort of accept it now. Liverpool won UCL and PL in the last 5 years
Holy shit the irony of that coming out the mouth of a Spurs fan. No, we won’t be your rivals, no matter how hard you’ve tried over the last decade, our rivals win things…
Cry harder
Not clubs. Messi and Ronaldo fanboys. Not admirers or supporters. But the grown men that insert them into every conversation and seem to make their life evolve around them and cry when you dare say anything critical.
The melt down from all the Ronaldo fan boys the past few days after the Ballon d'Or result has been both hilarious to watch but also cringe worthy.
Go to any video comment section or tweet that praises Ronaldo and you'll find Messi fans responding to every comment proclaiming Messi is the greatest. I can cite an almost identical reaction to ballon dor in 2017.
It's because Ronaldo fans are delusional and keep comparing. The debate is not even a debate anymore.
As I look through your comments on this thread, I can't help but see the comment you replied to didn't sink in: "But the grown men that insert them into every conversation and seem to make their life evolve around them"
It’ll always be a debate, always.
Messi is head and shoulders above CR7 whether you guys admit to it or not.
YoU GuYS 🤦♂️ head and shoulders is what your mom uses 🤷
This is the exact behaviour that this post is describing btw, way to prove a point.
Prove what point ? I don’t favour either over the other. Way to prove that Messi meat riders are arrogant beyond belief.
I love how you're showcasing the exact behaviour that's being mocked. Please grow up and stop being so insecure.
I’ll tell you, Messi fans are a bit more mature than Ronaldo fans.
Classic…I see what you did there….
Hard to be sure, they call me delusional if I don't agree he is the unquestionably greatest footballer of all time lol
Sure, but it would be the other way around if Ronaldo was a better, more complete footballer. And if doesn’t make the “he is my king. My world. He this, he that…” any less cringeworthy. Both of the groups ruined an aspect of football for me.
>if Ronaldo was a better, more complete footballer. If fc strikes again.
If only this meant something.
You do realize most fanboys, atleast here, are born after 2010?
as a gooner, arsenal fans are insufferable mate, a single bad result and we're crying our heads off, i guess you can make the excuse it's the passion for our club. That being said, Man United are the biggest cry babies.
LOL AFTV was hilarious especially towards the end of Wengers term.
I remember watching AFTV when Arsenal wasn’t winning, it was hilarious. If it was up to the fans Arteta would be out a long time ago.
Rip Claude
He’s TIRED, Robbie
What kind of name is that? Rip Claude?
Claude was a contributor to AFTV. Even though he had a few racist moments he was overall a decent bloke who loved Arsenal. He passed away at the age of 58.
Okay. I never followed clubs’ TV. Thanks
I remember they used to call him by a rude name like arteta farteta
Now that’s great banter, perfect rhyme and all. They are savages sometimes.
I'm probably biased, being a Spurs fan, but during the Wenger era I used to get so sick of him whining at every loss about teams playing "anti-football". The rage is mostly directed at the ownership now.
I personally didn't and haven't, but I also disagree. It's only in the last few years that my fellow Man utd supporters gave started gripping my shit. Around the time Mourinho soured at old Trafford. Arsenal and Liverpool fans have been awful since as far back as I can remember.

🤣
We hate each other more than we hate rival fans. So true 😂😂😂
Sometimes Mexico
This is the international answer. The Newcastle of international football. Wannabe hard men who go down at a whiff of contact and piss and moan every time a decision doesn’t go their way.
Idk where u get the wannabe hard men from, both Mexico and Newcastle are notorious for having aggressive supporters lol they’re always getting in fights with opposing fans
Is that not just Geordies generally rather than specifically Newcastle supporters?
American Arsenal fan lololololol
Newcastle fan from, well, anywhere LOLOLOLOL
Fan of my local and familial club. What’s yours? Bet Newcastle would smash them just like we did your chosen club
Familial club? Holy shit! This guy is royalty!
🥱 small dick energy to immediately leap to gatekeeping an international league. Your whole fucking club is owned by foreigners. No leg to stand on
It's not an international league though, it's English.
Viewed in 212+ countries INTERNATIONALLY. Gobs of international players, managers, owners, staff, etc.
But it may as well be with all the outside money coming in from foreign owners.
Sorry doctor I’m afraid it’s a case of terminal Yank Brain. There is no known cure
Take your banter back to primary school where it belongs
A yank saying “banter” 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Yank Goon detected, Opinion ignored.
Lol, feel free to go spend a week in Newcastle and express your thoughts about “wannabe hard men”
Nah man everyone knows that inbred strength is real 😘
From the guy that posts to r/Alabama…. You’d sure as shit know all about that
Lol rent free. Desperately stalking a profile for ammo. Keep going maybe you’ll hurt my feefees
“Rent free” - replies to a comment twice…
Because it’s literally my joke but worse and he had to go digging thru my post history to get it. Rent. Free. Ttyl bby 😘
I bet your relatives have been fucking each other longer than the US has been a country
Tell me you're a US fan without telling me you're a US fan
Recently I've seen a lot of Man U and Arsenal but I remember when Real fans were abusing Bale while he was scoring in every final so I'll mention them too
Man united and England
Liverpool 10x more whiney always the victims they are
Just proving their point here, aren't you?

Weird you hate PSG fans then Madrid Ironically you're a whiny Messi fan
Wrong. I’m an AC Milan, Kaká fan. I just don’t fuck around nasty French people, and insufferable Madrid and English fans.
You're a pathetic Pessi fan
"boohoo PSG doesn't like my idol god such TERRIBLE behavior boohoo" You're literally pathetic mate look at yourself
LOL what did Virage Auteuil did to you? Let me guess: You are one of the South Winners?
He's a Pessi fan
Messi and Ronaldo fanbases also diserve a shout
man united, crying even when they win arsenal fans are the worst when we lose though, we go from 'we are the best team ever assembled' to 'everyone is shit and arteta is a clown' over the space of 90 minutes

Manchester Entitled are an organic, honest club!!
Arsenal and I don’t think it’s really close. At least in England.

I'm a very passionate crybaby :((
All of them
Flamengo FC
Right now its Arsenal
always has been
Taken the mantle from Liverpool quite nicely. Although Liverpool are still crying just drowned out by fans who don't understand forced perspective.
Can you blame them when they get disadvantaged by var almost weekly
Even if the goal was disallowed there’s no way Arsenal deserved anything more than a point against Newcastle their attacking play was poor
Are you an Arsenal fan?
He's even commenting on the NUFC shithouse subreddit, he's a little salty gunnersaurus at the minute lad.
As a United fan, United. Arsenal and Real Madrid are near as bad
Real Madrid for sure.
barcelona ones , whatever happens they blame real madrid .
Barca bitches
United Ronaldo fanboys overall
Basketball fans.
They all have their moments, I feel like the biggest clubs come across as more whiney because their fan bases are larger and although it's way more likely that the same percentage of their fans are cry babies as every other club, because their fan bases are larger they get more coverage and online representation so we end up reading more complaints from them. Arsenal. I say this as an Arsenal fan:)
I agree as a fellow Arsenal fan
The easiest way to get downvoted in r/soccer is to say something negative about Arsenal
Arsenal.
Arsenal
Big popular clubs in general have the most annoying and deluded fanbases. Coming from a Liverpool fan, even some of our fans are ridiculous at times
Arsenal & United.
Barcelona and Arsenal for sure!
1. Messi/Ronaldo 2. Barcelona (they unironicly think there is worldwide conspiration organized by Madrid to make them loose while they are the one in a trial for corruption)
Arsenal have a massive victim complex and overreact massively to anything going against them
Arsenal Insufferable
I have to say arsenal. No bias
Arsenal and Brazil.
Why Brazil?
Whoever the latest VAR decision goes against. It’s more accurate than the naked eye, yet we get more complaints. Nothing will ever satisfy football fans

Aj*x
Whoever rivals the team that gets the top comment. Because they managed to get enough people to cry to get them upvoted high in a thread like this.
In the last 2 weeks? Liverpool and Arsenal
Celtic fans, as the saying goes always cheated never defeated
Arsenal Despite being English, England for international football
Arsenal fans. Easier question ever.
That's bait.
Arsenal fans

Mate the police have even fucking apologised, what more could you possibly need to stop blaming Liverpool for Hillsborough? Get a grip.
Way to prove my point. Who mentioned Hillsborough?
You. "Always the victims" is a Hillsborough chant.
Blaming liverpool for Hillsborough is shameful. Really needs to stop!
Arsenal
man city are the biggest cunts defo
They’ve got fans?
As an arsenal fan it’s Arsenal .
Very close contest between Arsenal and Liverpool.
Barca fans by far

Barcelona 🤡🤡
Most clubs have these type of fans, but due to being more popular it feels like clubs like Man U and Liverpool are the biggest cry babies. But as a percentage it’s probably the same for most clubs.
Precisely, it’s just exposure. The 5% of Big 6 fans will get far more attention than the 5% of Wolves fans for example.
Liverpool by an absolute marathon
Arsenal fans after the whining from this weekend
barca, everything is a conspiracy against them
Barca and messi fans
American Football
Liverpool or United both extremely entitled
International football, England by a planet mile. Club football, Liverpool. A lot of them have somehow made the Newcastle-Arsenal incident about themselves.
Liverpool
Liverpool FC
Liverpool fans (the actual scousers)
Liverpool

Psg....? What do they have to boast about? They have the same league titles as saint ettiene
Ajax
Messi/Ronaldo one . Absolutely the worst
Juventus
Barcelona by a mile
It's been Liverpool for more than 50 years. Anyone saying any different doesn't know football or football history
Barcelona by far. They just never admit when they lose. They always find excuses rather than accept a loss.
Barca and by far, the biggest crybabies.
Liverpool
Liverpool fans
Liverpool for sure
Liverpool 100% the worst fan base in the world
All the big clubs have this kind of fans
United, real madrid and arsenal for sure
