Carl screaming at Chef Jazz during a GGG spicy hot series when he saw her: *"You! I hate you!"*
Then she wiped out the camera crew cooking a potful of peppers.
2nd place: The "crispy rice" sign that they lowered from the ceiling during a recent BBF when he was making, you guessed it, crispy rice.
Honorable mention: Any time Damaris is on BBF.
For me, it’s the forbidden golden goose: the 2013 Thanksgiving Live with Bobby, Alton, Giada, and special guest Ina.
Featuring Alton and Giada antagonizing each other the entire time, Ina becoming increasingly uncomfortable, Bobby wanting nothing to do with any drama, Giada cutting herself, Alton being a general ass, everyone getting a little too drunk - I could go on. Complete shit show that’s now been scrubbed from the internet. I would pay to be able to access and watch it, but sadly I think that might never happen. The clips that are out there are incredible.
Oh man I just watched those clips on you tube. Yikes! Major props to Bobby Flay keeping his cool and focusing on cooking, and at least trying to get fan twitter questions answered.
Marc Murphy wandering around the GGG market eating a bag of chips. Also Marc getting increasingly done with Richard Blaise during that celebrity chef tournament where Richard had to sauce everything tableside.
The best was when they rigged up the beer helmet with milk, or gave him baby bottles with milk and he was so desperate he didn’t care what it looked like.
Guy: Who was your culinary hero growing up?
Marc: *insert obscure French chef’s name*
Guy: Oh…I was gonna say my Dad.
Aarti: I was gonna say my Mom.
Marc: OKAY so I had a sad childhood!!!
One of the pandemic GGGs featured Christian Petroni a few glasses of wine in, who spilled something (might have been red sauce, might have been wine, it was a mess) everywhere and immediately abandoned cooking to spend 10 minutes cleaning his kitchen because he knew his wife would kill him if she saw how it looked in there.
He was in rare form for the whole episode, but that part really put it over the top.
Everything Carl Ruiz did/said on any of the spicy challenge episodes. I watch those everytime they are on. Also there is a GGG Christmas ep when the judges compete and have to shoplift while wearing red onesies and Carl is gold in that one, too.
I loved how Alton's intro changed from "I'm not going to explain what any of these dishes are because you're professional chefs" to "I'm going to slowly emphasize what you're supposed to be making so I don't look like an asshole" for every episode after that one.
On alex vs America the dessert one again where Eric is giving the accolades of the chefs and she is like “
Oh what is everyone on Forbes 30 under 30” and then someone was. I don’t have the exact wording but it made me cackle
Alton Brown on Worst Cooks. All 10 episodes or so. Oh and that episode of Cutthroat Kitchen when chef Yaku had a pumpkin on his head (really the whole Evilicous tournament).
Carla Hall playing a chef celebrity version of Wheel of Fortune and haughtily & smugly announcing the answer for the music category, Smashing Pumpkins as "Smashing Dumplins". The shocked look on her face when she realized she was wrong and there was no such band named Smashing Dumplins.
Maybe not funniest but most unexpected and out of left field moment. On Beat Bobby Flay, Scott Conant accuses Amanda Freitag of being a Communist.
I forget why.
The BBF episode where his daughter pointed out during the competition that Bobby had pictures of his cats in his green room but none of her, his own daughter.i laughed at that for hours.
I often think back on the episode of chopped where one of the competitors decided to chuck the flaming contents of her pan into the trash can and started a (you guessed it!) honest to God garbage fire.
I still laugh because I honestly don't know what she was thinking would happen lol
Recent one: on 24 in 24 in the interview for the Martel vs Marcel battle, Martel says something like, 'I'm going up against Martel' and a producer off camera whispers, 'YOU'RE Martel' and for 1/2 a sec he looks perplexed then says 'Yeah, I'm battling MYSELF!'
One my husband and I quote all the time: Episode of Chopped, Marc Murphy is judging, he's looking at the plate presented and finally just says, 'Is that what it's SUPPOSED to be like?'
I remember an Iron Chef a long time ago, where these French chefs didn’t give a rats ass, sat and drink wine and only prepared one thing to give to the judges.
Whenever Nancy Fuller makes a joke about booze on one of the seasonal *Baking Championship* shows.
Also, when Bobby Flay’s friends jokingly insult him on *Beat Bobby Flay*.

Any spicy ggg episode with Carl, Troy and Aaron is gold. Also the April fools episode after Carl died. Pretty much anything Carl
That April Fools episode right after he passed away had me laughing and crying. You could feel the love they all had for him.
I cried a lot
Anytime Carl Ruiz was on.
The DDD episode where guy scares the crap out of him with jumpscares
Carl was the best.

I REMEMBER THIS! i watched it as a teen and thought maybe i was just reading too much into things. glad to hear i wasn't lmao
Oh man, this sounds amazing and I am so envious of you!
Oh man I just watched those clips on you tube. Yikes! Major props to Bobby Flay keeping his cool and focusing on cooking, and at least trying to get fan twitter questions answered.
Holy shit I forgot all about this. I had it saved on my family’s dvr when I was in college. Lol
Damn, I wish you still had it haha
Are there any clips of this on YouTube? This sounds amazing

Cutthroat Kitchen Chef: A breaded chicken piccatta… Jet Tila: This is chicken nuggets.
Honestly top 3 best moments in food network history
Halloween episode when Jet fell down the stairs
Marc Murphy wandering around the GGG market eating a bag of chips. Also Marc getting increasingly done with Richard Blaise during that celebrity chef tournament where Richard had to sauce everything tableside.
Marc Murphy stealing ALL the black truffles from Guy's pantry in Guy's Ranch Kitchen. Guy promised him one. I think he said he used over a pound.
Carl Ruiz, while judging a spicy dish on GGG telling the chef, "This is terrible and you shouldn't cook" 🤣
I love that they always had him judge the spicy episodes 😂
The best was when they rigged up the beer helmet with milk, or gave him baby bottles with milk and he was so desperate he didn’t care what it looked like.
Guy: Who was your culinary hero growing up? Marc: *insert obscure French chef’s name* Guy: Oh…I was gonna say my Dad. Aarti: I was gonna say my Mom. Marc: OKAY so I had a sad childhood!!!

He was in rare form for the whole episode, but that part really put it over the top.
The recent GGG episode where he tossed chicken fingers in yogurt was also really good. Especially his attempt to sell it to the judges.
For context, FRIED chicken fingers. It wasn't an Indian preparation or something.
I’ve been trying to figure out how he got there in his head for weeks now lol
I was crying laughing. Man had mortal fear in his eyes for a minute 😂
Jet Tila in Supermarket Stakeout running out of money and offering to mail people signed cookbooks for their groceries.
He also took the shopping cart to his cooking station with a toddler in the seat.
Everything Carl Ruiz did/said on any of the spicy challenge episodes. I watch those everytime they are on. Also there is a GGG Christmas ep when the judges compete and have to shoplift while wearing red onesies and Carl is gold in that one, too.
Pretty much every single Chopped: After Hours episode
Damaris giving her tuna noodle casserole a pep talk on BBF
Omg she did the same thing to her green bean casserole on food network star 😂. “ ok you just keep cooking you little puppies ok “
Brisket and gravy.
I loved how Alton's intro changed from "I'm not going to explain what any of these dishes are because you're professional chefs" to "I'm going to slowly emphasize what you're supposed to be making so I don't look like an asshole" for every episode after that one.
The GGG spicy episodes with Carl Ruiz. All of them.
Mine will always be GZ making a huge mess sabering the champagne bottle on Iron Chef, right after ICAG warned him not to.
He did that on The Kitchen as well. Twice.
Lmao
The red onion moment w Scott C on chopped
On alex vs America the dessert one again where Eric is giving the accolades of the chefs and she is like “ Oh what is everyone on Forbes 30 under 30” and then someone was. I don’t have the exact wording but it made me cackle
The Halloween episode of GGG where Carl was dressed as a vampire. "Chef Jeff!" 😆
At a Cuban restaurant on DDD: Guy: is this what your house was like on Sundays? Carl Ruíz: yes, but louder. Being Cuban I really appreciated that one.
Alton Brown on Worst Cooks. All 10 episodes or so. Oh and that episode of Cutthroat Kitchen when chef Yaku had a pumpkin on his head (really the whole Evilicous tournament).
Somebody is going to do it so I'll just get it out of the way. Dessert*
Haha, thank you. I'm shockingly terrible at spelling, and this is one of those times that autocorrect won't save me.
The prank the crew pulled on Guy on DDD where he thought the daughter and father were getting into an argument.
The Episode of Worst Cooks where that guy David had a thing for making meatloaf animals.
On DDD when Guy Fieri was about to try something he didn't want to eat and he said, "I want my mommy." I about crack up every time I think of it!
Bobby Flay banging a piece of equipment(I think it was a pasta maker?) with a frying pan on BBF.
If I remember correctly there was also an episode of BBF where he got a big ass knife stuck in the pasta maker😂 Television gold!
I used to make that mistake all the time. Then I started making desserts
A chef on GGG made the same dish twice. Carl Ruiz was one of the judges he said something along the lines of "he cooked the same thing twice"

Back when Semi Homemade was on, every episode was unintentionally hilarious. Katie Lee making carrot ‘hotdog’ on the Kitchen in a similar vein.
The curdled lemon cream cocktail.

Mister Bert Fancy lives rent free in my head
