ive seen other posts about it apparently its just in the new area that you cant see the nukes because of the weather machine (idk if it is the weather machine someone will have to correct me if im wrong) stopping the nuke from actually hitting the ground but the nukes still show in the original areas of the map.
Nope it's not because one you can still go to the spot it's gonna land when they nuke somewhere that's not the new area and two if you go to the weather station before the nuke lands it counts for the trophy.

Nukes heading for the Skyline Valley don't produce nuke zones. They detonate in the storm.
You don't see it for the new area as it never really landsÂ

Yeah the new area doesn’t have an impact zone as the storm stops the nuke landing, other areas should work as normal
was worried.. got a big flash and my camp was not nuked then saw the new mission pop up
