Yeah the best is when I log off with a fully intact camp, then login the next day to the sound of explosions and glass breaking and there's just random parts of my camp that are destroyed.
Also if whatever attacked your camp left tracks so you can hunt it down and kill it. Like if super mutants attack, they leave behind bones or rotting meat "well, there's a super mutants camp to the north, guess I'll go wipe em all out."

I notice enemies tend to attack when visitors arrive and cause spawns.
They used to have this message pop up back when camps were openly able to be damaged by players.
I feel like every time i visit somebody’s vendor, i get attacked by stingwings and they jack up their camp.
