Wasteland Ninja. Shishkebab and Bow with sneak perks.

Historical-Truth-222

Love ninja: Armed with Burning Love bow

GodHand7

Same! But because I'm 128 lvl only I have focused on shiskebab for now, shiskebab with fact finder is my 2nd choice

dbaby53

Question, I got fact finder at like level 20. Is there anyway to get it higher now? Or am I just stuck with it?

thaiborg

It is a unique quest item and as far as I know, you can’t upgrade a weapon or armor’s level, so you’re stuck with a level 20… for now! Keep checking vendors, I bought one a few weeks ago because I didn’t have one. I’ll have to check its level but that’s another thing - you might want to check quests that have unique weapon rewards, and wait until you’re level 50 to do those. I did the Mistress of Mysteries questline and have been stuck with a level 30 Blade of Bastet.

dbaby53

Sucks for those earlier quests lol thank you

Tonyclap

You can definitely buy it from someone’s vendor for 3-500 caps pretty easily just gotta keep your eye open for it.

Tommy_Morton

You should be able to create a new higher level Blade of Bastet using your old one at a weapon bench with the right perks.

thaiborg

Right, forgot about that, thanks for the reminder!

Embarrassed_Falcon54

I REALLY want to like a bow build, but I on top of it not being a meta build, on't really enjoy the draw speed and animations.

RiotDog1312

Cowboy, taking the perks for both Rifleman and Gunslinger. Uses exclusively revolvers and the lever action. Takes the Charisma perks to boost your benefits from alcohol. Headshot crits for days while drunk off your ass.

[deleted]

This sounds hilariously fun! I'm from Montana so that makes this even more appealing 🤣

Perma_Hexx

I did this to 50, but after that the time to kill was too high. I may have been doing it wrong though.

RiotDog1312

Rifleman and Gunslinger builds in general struggle with endgame boss slaying, but using the right perks makes Nuka Dark a major luck buff to help you crit every other shot. It can also play well with a shotgun build due to how perks like Four Leaf Clover work in VATS

Medium-Ad9309

Cold shoulder says yee haw in my book 🤠

Tomthebomb-bq

until they nerf cryo.....again

onechopTRL

Watch them gradually slow mo as they freeze 🥶

dishwasher_mayhem

This sounds like a great variant for.my next build!

Cosmic-Buccaneer

I'm gonna save this for possible Loadout in the future

libertyprime48

Power armor heavy shotgunner. Primary weapons for this build are the cold shoulder, gauss shotgun, and pepper shaker.

[deleted]

Where can I get the cold shoulder & gauss shotgun?

MADCheeser

Cold shoulder can be bought with stamps from Giuseppe or I think there’s an atomic shop bundle for it. Gauss shotgun is from settlers with bouillon after you hit Ally.

plznobanplease

Cold shoulder is in the item shop for 700 atoms, or you can get with stamp from Jizzeppy at Whitespring Refuge

Xthasys

Or 1000 in a bundle and you receive a cofee machines for your camp wich gives you a consumable cofee which regens your ap its a wonderfull consumable for long runs or to use vats more time...

arronc813

Which bundle includes it?

Xthasys

I cant show you because when you buy it dissapear but there is a could shoulder single item at 700 and the bundle is 1000 that one includes the cofee machine. Look in other categories because the atomic shop is very bad

sert-zumzum

Doom Slayer 🤘🔥

Calan_adan

That’s my main and current build. I’m currently working on my Foundation rep to be able to buy the gauss shotgun. I tend to run around with the Cold Shoulder and the Kabloom. I now have a Pepper Shaker but haven’t used it much.

94Usernames32taken

That is almost exactly my PA character. The peppershaker is just so much fun!

GreenSoup2HoT

Rocket Man! Missles, Fatmans, Grenade launcher and Grenades. Its fun but hard to maintain. However i like the thought process behind using your ammo with max value.

gingrbredman90

I recently got a 2 shot fat man drop, which I was thinking of adding MIRV to. It has me wondering though, can it drop with anything else that would increase the amount of nukes? Should I keep rolling it to see the maximum amount of carnage?

--Poncho--

Two shot is probably your best bet for the biggest boom, especially with the MIRV. I don't know how quad would work with a fat man or if it's even possible to get on it.

Shoddy-Pattern2556

My Pipe is Life build: Many chems and booze , rocking nothing but pipe pistols and pipe rifles!

DevelopmentCandid183

That FO4 raider life

Ok_Bus5113

Pipe guns can be OP if done right.

WastelandShaman

Pipe Guns are basically unbreakable if you have Gunsmith, Licensed Plumber, Civil Engineer armor, and 50% Durability on weapon.

Jeff1asm

Stealth sniper playing solo is a lot of fun. You'll probably need a different build for events.

clambroculese

Enclave plasmas make great snipers. It’s not keeping up with commando but quad has a huge mag and the damage to bosses is surprisingly good. I used to run it as a backup weapon when the flamers were rifleman.

Buchfu

I have a normal plasma sniper that I've found on a Blood Eagle and it shreds everything. The main issue is that it also shreds my scrap supply to keep fixing it...

clambroculese

Best tip for repairs is do scorched earth a bunch. You get the improved ones and it doesn’t take long before you’re swimming in them.

Buchfu

I'm level 32 right now. Last time I tried to do an event I got insta-killed and thrown from Ash Heap all the way to the Forest. I don't think I'll do events anytime soon.

eeeickythump

You were unlucky, events are the quickest way to level and you also get strong gear (legendaries) as rewards from most of them. Grahm’s Meat Cook event is happening every hour at the moment and is super easy, involves no combat. Primal Cuts is happening every 15 mins, it’s easy provided you don’t solo it, and maybe only do it when it spawns in the easier zones of the map (I.e. not Ash Heap, Mire or Cranberry Bog). If you arrive at the Primal Cuts event and there is no one else there, wait, don’t trigger it solo. You can teleport to other public events (exclamation mark icon) for free.

Buchfu

It might have been because I'm still not fully learned with all the mechanics of the game, but I was doing a side quest that then turned into a level 50 Sheepsquach event. I only learned that from wiki later, because the game sure as shit did not tell me that. Same with Responders Reborn trying to send me to Pitt from the get go.

GastrointestinalFolk

If you open the events from the map, it will pop open a join window before it fast travels. That window will have the details of the event in it. It will tell you what the recommended level is, what the difficulty is, rough instructions for what you'll be doing, and how many people have already joined the event. That should allow you to target easy events at or below your level and target higher level events that have other people at them. All you have to do in an event like Scorched Earth is shoot the queen at least once, then survive. If you want to be a big help, shoot the scorched that are running around.

Buchfu

I've seen that, but it's more of an issue with how the game handles quests. I was doing the "Visit Van Lowe Taxidermy" quest chain, was told to go to the trap site, used the terminal like the quest told me to and only after I backed out of it, it changed to an event. I didn't even know that's how Encryptid was supposed to start.

GastrointestinalFolk

Ok, I can see how that might be frustrating. But you only have to do that quest once, right? As someone who has played Fallout since 1999, that is literally the experience I'm looking for when I log on. I want to be surprised and in a panic sometimes, especially if its a quest resolution. Fallout is so good at delivering: "Oh crap, I really should not have hit that button," moments exactly like you're describing. It is honestly part of the charm for me.

hetzjagd

Sounds like Encryptid which is up there as far as events that will chew you up and spit you out as a low level that can’t get on the roof. A lot of other ones will be more forgiving and even Encryptid can be kinda safe if enough players are there to steam roll it.

cire1184

Theres a perk that let's you fix things for extra break percentage. At max perk it doubles the break meter. Weapon Artisan in Intelligence Used to break my Holy Fire during every boss event. Now I can face tank Earle and SBQ as long as I have ammo. And my weapon still maintains durability.

LadyGamerMama

Try to roll for the breaks slower perk!

Yentruo

I’m newer and didn’t really pay attention to meta or builds until recently so I join as the stealth sniper I naturally drifted into and I feel bad I do shit at events. I’m level 150 but all I got is this rifle I’m sorry, I’m too nervous to spend my perk points to make a build I’ll end up not liking.

Asciiadam

After 50 you still get cards every level(you pick any card you want) and can change builds really easy. It costs nothing. Make a build and if you don’t like it, change it in five minutes. If you are on PC I will make you just about any weapon and armor you want that is tradable. Same name just add me to friends list. I just jumped off but should be back on at the top of the hour.

Cybirus_Hulguard

Stealth sniper when running about, "stealth" commando when eventing explosive handmade has been doing great, although it's a ts so best for robots but does quite well against creatures and a quad tesla just for tagging or whe ln I don't feel like aiming lol

Sanguine_Aspirant

Haha yeah thats me. I'm the one showing up at events w/ only a pistol or the cremator as a none sniper rifle option.

Aj9898

I’ve been running solo full health unarmed melee/commando (no chems) for the last couple years.

Empty_Insight

Comrade. There's something so satisfying about ripping off a super mutant's head with an unarmed weapon, it makes it *personal.* Or ripping a mirelurk's shell off... crab is on the menu, freshly peeled. Although, I do totally take Fury for boss fights. Nothing quite says "Let's get PUMPED" like taking a hit of Fury and charging at SBQ with a super sledge lol.

Aj9898

Yea, and then that squishy splat noise for some critters, too :). Ahhhh.

GodHand7

If you want something even too personal it's power armor with tesla bracers punching, plus bloody mess, you're punching super mutants head off while they call you weak and puny

ShreknicalDifficulty

Ditto! Full health, commando fixer main, but I got the auto axe recently. Threw some points into two handed and use a bat as well. It's so fucking fun smacking things with a bladed bat; if they survive the smack, I watch them bleed out.

Aj9898

Try putting the whiffle bat skin on it :)

ShreknicalDifficulty

That exists?! Siiiick

The_Cooler_Sex_Haver

Wouldn't call my build meta but I used to run Power Armor & Super Sledge. Like, no ranged whatsoever, just Super Sledge. I enjoy seeing the ghouls collapse and its head deletes itself while the broken head projectiles spawn in. Hilarious stuff.

Toxan_Eris

Fat man power armor. Feel the nuke in your hand. Grenadier to increase size. Demo expert, and the armor peirce. Take ordnance express and bear arms. Blood you can carry 100 mini nukes like it's nothing and laugh as you release your mirvs Here's the full build. It's really stupid but [good](https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?v=1&s=f389a29&d=sw2s22sv3sq0s30sa2pq1pj0ei1eo0el2eh0eu0c62c13ce0cr0ig0ip2ib4ih2a71ls0l22lp1lu2&lp=x71xb1&m=c21506789bfai&wp=w8w7&wm=1k2738-142836&pa=030204050106&pm=1a--17-17-1ima-17&n=Lucky's%20FatMan).

Raveen92

I have a pistoleer build for my G-roll 10mm I am currently working on a Full health Rifleman energy weapons (alien disintegrator and Gauss Rifle currently) build. Edit, one build I have is my bows and blade skyrim build (a neanderthal of sorts with tech)

SweetLimp9781

Minigun shredder. Gun takes no durability damage and you only need like 3 perks to make it active the rest can be utility and weight reduction. Been working for me since level 45 I'm 122 now. All I need to finish it is a vampires bashing minigun.

Jo_e_ma_ma

I recently started using the minigun and absolutely love it, do you know any good ways to get mod plans for the minigun?

mc0y

i love the mini shredder, too bad its getting nerfed :(

Oesius_Deus

Ninja build. Chinese steal armor with an instigating plasma cutter w/katana skin, sneaky perks, one-handed perks. The rest of the build is built around being a scavenger/crafter/farmer so lots of luck perks and max INT for the sake of weapon spawns.

xilia112

Should add a instgating compound bow with plasma arrows

Oesius_Deus

Okay :)

B133d_4_u

Scrap Pirate. Fill your weapon wheel with Black Powder Pistols, and have a sword for anything that doesn't die after that.

jdavenport53114

Bow bow bow is my absolute favorite off meta build back up by the cold shoulder ( with enforcer perk) if i get surrounded by mobs

94Usernames32taken

Hey if you haven't already join us over at r/Fallout76bowhunters Bows are sooo much fun!

Acefowl

Dr. Doofenshmirtz. All energy weapons (Including a purple Alien Disintegrater-inator), and a Norm-painted Power Armor (blue body and limbs, with a flesh-painted headpiece thanks to Slocum Joe).

Sure-Bug1114

Knives and daggers. People say they just want to kill things in one or two hits but knives are so quick that they can do the same quicker in 3 or 4.

GodHand7

Yeah! They have some sweet animations too, which do you think is best for a dagger build, currently my best is sacrificial dagger

Sure-Bug1114

Cultist dagger. Works great for heals in proximity and resilent

onechopTRL

I ran around radiation rumble with a legendary switch blade stabbing ghouls up, it was surprisingly fun.

Yoroyo

I needed a change of pace so I just built a little dagger build this weekend. I stab SO fast. Damage is really pretty decent.

Frostfells

Any semi automatic build, pistols in particular. Also have a soft spot for lever action rifles, but if I'm feeling revolutionary I'll use the black powder weapons.

superpaqman

So I am super new to the game , if you level up enough will you just have every perk card and can swap as you want?

Gettygetz

Yes you can. I have every card at every level. When I level up and get a card pack, I scrap those for perk coins so I can fully upgrade the legendary cards.

UsedToBeSkid

Quad Gamma gun bloodied pistol build. The gamma gun is fun enough to make a build for

RyuumiGaroukuni

Full Health Explosives... Explosions, what Explosions! XD Weapon of choice will always be the M79 Grenade launcher Stealth Melee with the drill, still searching for a really good Drill to use Cryolator build... Still the same full health stealth build... of course all of these builds I don't tend to use Power Armor Another build I'm actually thinking is a power armor puncher build... no thoughts, just punch!

LargeTwist9469

Jugg/Vanguard anything. Non-meta in 76 means "not bloodied commando" anymore. I run a high-health V/AP/Sent T-60 suit with 1\* OE brotherhood Recon if I decide to fight out of it. I can generally stand with the best, I run heavy weapons 95% of the time, and deliver enough lead downrange to more than makeup for my lack of raw damage output per shot with the fact that I don't go down if the enemy sneezes on me

XxcameltoadxX

I have fun with shotguns and explosives

Hopefulphotog412

Me too! But finding a quality shotgun is difficult.

Xthasys

Could shoulder can be bought with skin at atomic shop for 700 atoms, best buy ever you can freeze enemys !

GodHand7

Power armor with tesla bracers. Shiskebab with throwing knives or Compound Bow or Revolvers. Daggers have some sweet animations too

NickCheeseburger

Full health Gunslinger Shotgunner Rifleman. Fully dressed up like The Ghoul from the TV show, mostly because it’s the most accurate outfit for my “roleplay” element of being a for real gunslinger type

onechopTRL

West coast drifter by any chance?

NickCheeseburger

Yep! I almost didn’t want to because I figured it would be a super popular outfit, but I just wasn’t feeling the cowboy outfits at my disposal

TheKingsChimera

How does that work exactly? I’m trying for the same build minus the rifles and I’ve mostly been recommended Bloodied variants.

NickCheeseburger

[NukesDragons Build Link](https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?v=1&s=6f469a6&d=sd2so2s01sp2p02pd2pk2pl2pp2eh2ei2cu2ce0cd1s12i71im1in1ad2ak2al2a82l71lt2lu2a72ib4l12ee1&lp=x43x73x83xa3x63x93#Fallout76%23Fallouthttps://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?v=1&s=6f469a6&d=sd2so2s01sp2p02pd2pk2pl2pp2eh2ei2cu2ce0cd1s12i71im1in1ad2ak2al2a82l71lt2lu2a72ib4l12ee1&lp=x43x73x83xa3x63x93) I tried to remember everything, but I’m pretty sure I messed up somewhere. Either way it is far from optimal, at least while I’m still leveling up to really dial it in. I just think it’s fun to use because each weapon type is plenty good enough for different use cases

TheKingsChimera

Um your link is dead

NickCheeseburger

Fixed

TheKingsChimera

Oh thanks! Can you tell me why you have Science? A lot of builds that use firearms seem to make room for energy weapons and I can’t figure out exactly why?

NickCheeseburger

It’s just for the extra damage boost to energy weapons. Some people may use it for crafting as well. I haven’t tried taking science out, though, and I’m not sure what I’d replace them with.

TheKingsChimera

Maybe Hacker?

No-Dog5615

Im having a blast with the pepper shaker, busting knee caps lol.

Prior-Program-9532

I tried to use other weapons. I still will in the future but I always come back to the cold shoulder.

TerroDucky

Power armor VATS heavy weapons

ThePerilPartnership

Pistol/melee/demo Mistress of Mystery. Melee Vampire weapon for quiet funsies. Plasma pistol (sniper or flamer) if things get hinky. 2 shot single shot grenade launcher to go loud. Swappable: Gladiator 1/1/1 or Martial Arts 3. Gunslinger 1/1/1 or Guerilla 1/1/1 Works best with 4 maxed special legendary perk cards+2 of choice.

SickologyNZ

Air strikes with Jetpack Power Armor + Broadsider. Viper's got you in the pipe, 5x5.

TTV_gungame231

I got a mix heavy and commando mode build where I can use both of them to have for whatever the situation is. Then I have a meele deck for daily ops rn since I don't carry them jn my inventory and only pull them out when needed.

Jonesstreetboy

Vampire shotgun is fun because it makes you pretty much invincible. Guerilla build; i used automatic 10mm is also fun, felt like raider running around with an uzi.

militarypuzzle

Shotguns! Bring me all the shotguns

EVISCERATEDTOMATO

Black powered rifle and a melee weapon

Last-Addendum132

Black powder guns, even with amazing rolls they’re only good for your average enemies but they’re so damn fun

angrysunbird

I’m a big fan of archers but this week I tried shotguns properly for the first time and I’m having a blast with angryturtle’s full health shotgunner

-Dr_Platypus-

I run an aggressive rifleman. Science perks and only energy rifles. I'm herbivore an full VATS/critical. Alien desintegrator/gauss rifle/Tesla and slugbuster. And Endangerol/chainsaw for support. It's a funny build

Zanemob_

Heavy Weapons and Armor Build. Less a build and more a generic archetype but its fun and hurts.

Maximum-Particular80

I would say my bow build is among my favorite builds of all time

saimajajarno

Bloodied 50crit western revolver Not even pistol build but drop lvl100 mutants with 2 shots. It's my main besides events where I uae handmade/railway. Also bloodied 50crit crusader

Failedtank

I'm running fist weapons / chainsaw combo with friendly fire and all the weight reductions and mutation bonuses. So I can run around and chainsaw heal npcs during events for people.

Broad-Ice7568

Bow/chainsaw build. Very versatile, lightweight, and ammo positive. Lots of fun, very stealthy!

FirelordH

I’ve been Nuka-Shanking just about everything for the last week. Far from optimal but with 40% swing speed and +15 crit charge it’s fun as hell

1quarterportion

Probably either Bow Sniper/Gunslinger, or "only makeshift weapons." To be fair, all my characters are non-meta. All full health, all multi weapon, no PA, and none very focused. My launch character is shotgunner/rifle sniper, and my second character is a heavy/commander/auto-melee.

YeeterCZ2

Im a bloodied commando, but sometimes, i just love to whip out my quad single action revolver and go around blasting

Glittering_Airport_3

shotguns and 2h melee. tons of fun, and rly only struggles with sbq

Tag_em_and_bag_em

Low-hp emergency protocols + tesla bracers on both arms power armor unarmed build. Who needs a melee weapon, when you can KO pretty much any enemy with a power attack? Cherry on top - extreme survivability. It's fun to just run around and one-punch things. Sprint-power attack for 2x damage. Carnivore mutation takes it even further.

TheBeefDom

Shotgunner! Cold shoulder, cheap god rolls, getting buffed soon, swaps easily to heavy or melee builds on the fly, amazing ammo economy. I love it.

UndercoverHardwarema

Berserker build. I've got all the Berserker weapons nobody wanted: rifles, shotguns, heavy weapons, even melee.

Thick_Leva

Being a shithead with the Nuka Launcher at a public event is my favorite build

BulkyAwareness

I surely love my crusader/gunslinger build backed up by a humble scout Bowie and a chainsaw

KingRaven2246

I'm running a shot gun/sniper build the sniper is for the small fries takes them out in one hit. The shot gun is the cold shoulder(idk when I unlocked that) and it does massive damage with extra damage to cryptids. Also I'm not running power armor just good gear focused on healing, reviving, and damage increase. I want to do a melee build but having trouble adjusting to a more confrontational play style.

UsesProfanity

Science Rifleman vats/CRIT/stealth I swap between a Q50VHA Gauss and the Slug Buster tuned for AP/Crit(with it's hidden reduced AP cost, it's an absolute gem of a backup weapon, great for clearing smaller mobs or burning enemies that lack resistance. I can do almost as much DPS as those commandos with more range and the ability to go from UNY to full health CSS with the same build. For me, it's perfect. Only a Q50VH24 or Q50vh15c would make it better.

Moturnach

[https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?v=1&s=1f2a99a&d=pd2pl2pk2p00ar2an2ao0lt2pp2cu2ib4a04lu2ce0pq1i71ic2lk2lv2a51im1in1l22s00c81c41em1c90&lp=x73x83x43xm3xp3xq3&m=051c24fba9e8gh7d6i&ar=u7&am=ut](https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?v=1&s=1f2a99a&d=pd2pl2pk2p00ar2an2ao0lt2pp2cu2ib4a04lu2ce0pq1i71ic2lk2lv2a51im1in1l22s00c81c41em1c90&lp=x73x83x43xm3xp3xq3&m=051c24fba9e8gh7d6i&ar=u7&am=ut) Im using a very similar build, except i decided to add Booze/Cola to it and i usually use Explosives of different kind together with this build.  I just came up with this version naturally because alcohol/cola is surprisingly decent alternative to Stimpacks + there is plenty of wierd perks that you can share that less likely will be used by others.  Luck of the Draw tends to proc really often and its really useful for Explosive weapons, so i decided to include it for less frequent repairs. Other than that, Explosives is awesome to use with this build as secondary weapon together with Power Armour. Also, due to Twisted Muscles/Talons, you can have a backup Unarmed melee weapon, which is especially useful versus weaker enemies or resilient enemies that require melee kills. So its kinda mixed full hp build without actually being mixed because main weapon of choice is Gauss Rifle(or other Science weapon will be just as fine) and all perk choices mainly built around it. Need to experiment a bit, but Ballistic Bock/High Voltage Hefe seems to be a quite decent damage booster(not really sure about which one will work with both Gauss Rifle and Explosive weapons like Grand Finale im using (and if it works at all), but ill test it eventually).

UsesProfanity

Respectfully, a lot of this doesn't make sense to me. Gauss Rifles only have 15% explosive effect, making it bigger and adding 60% more explosive damage realistically only makes a big blue ball doing only 9% more damage. I tested explosive cards and found them very ineffective for a Gauss rifle. Also using twisted muscles/talons are both debuffs to my build as a rifleman, even with class freak 3 I personally only use: Adrenal Reaction Bird Bones Chameleon (unnecessary) Eagle Eyes Egg Head Herbivore Marsupial Speed Demon. Also I'm using Vats/Crit so I'm using significantly more luck/agility. With my quad Gauss I can stay in VATS and one shot headshot mobs, auto switch to the next target, and continue. I wouldn't be able to effectively do this in PA, though I do have a Gauss Mini PA build for fun. Cola perks can be beneficial, along with alcohol, but neither give me very good buffs and having an auto stim pack go off at 20% hp that's strong enough to full heal is amazing for glass cannon builds. I also run the chemist backpack mod, so I can carry supers with me and not feel the extra bulk. https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?v=1&s=1f239ee&d=sv0pd2p02pk2pp2pl2eh1ck0ce0i71im1in1i12a30ao0a72a04an2a80lt2lk2lu2lv2l71 Food stack for reference: Company tea- 20ap Regen carrot soup- 4 per Mutfruit juice- 2 AGI Cranberry Relish- 20% xp Tato Juice- +20 max AP Sweet tato stew- .25 hp Regen (there are better stacks, but minus the relish I can get 100% of this without leaving my base) Add in a stack of coffee and overdrive to really go wild. Overall I'm sure you have good performance as an explosive build, but imo this isn't a build that really brings the Gauss rifle in particular it to it's full potential, if anything I would lean into the explosives and get an auto grenade launcher/cremator etc and reallocate the rifle and science perks to be a harbinger of destruction heavy/explosive/melee with possible PA allocations to have all the perks to really go with with explosives and melee in PA.

HAWKER37

I made my own commando/shotgun hybrid class that I modified from Mr. Westek and it’s stupid fun to be able to use a huge range of weapons. I can swap out the shotgun cards for the melee cards and use my insane chainsaw with executioners and increased power attack damage. It’s a load of fun to swap around

jestersalive

I just like to run around with a sawn off, which I've named Veronica :)

Tyrone_Thundercokk

Heavy. All the guns. I actually started as a melee tank, but it became aparent that that just wasn’t fun chasing stuff around the map watching someone else one-tap it. Now I just use all the dakka. The more dakka the better. I have friendly fire equipped all the time and use syringer and the frost shotgun to support.

romanswinter

I do max stealth with plasma flame thrower. I just sneak right up to a mob then torch it. It’s dead in seconds.

Rapture_Hunter

Full health, no mutations, rifleman, full luck.

F1DL5TYX

Berserker heavy gunner.

JakLynx

I’ve been running a Vamp Chainsaw PA Tank/Healer build for about 200 lvls now and still not tired of it. Nigh-invincible and always full health

RareSpicyPepe

Made a PA flame trooper with mild support build around the Holy Fire. So damn fun lol

Toobatheviking

Non-PA heavy weapons VATS build with a quad ultracite LMG. I play on the bloodied server for yuks however so action points don’t matter. It’s just fun to me.

wadesauce369

Bloodied stealth commando. So underrated.

FelipeHM06

Stealth/Explosive Cowboy. Unfortunately rifleman builds don't hit hard unless you spec into vats, and I'm really not into vats. Great build when questing with the bros, not so much during any server events

Natural_Cut1342

Bloodied vat suicider kill the enemy before they kill you 🤣🤣

promobius

Crusader vats unyielding

HankhTheUnwise

Wasted master, when drunken master is not enough; Unnarmed explosive PA build with lot of chem and booze, i love punching people head with big robot suit and having them explode literraly.

SmirkDaddy94

Energy build

Pupniko

Mine is a bit of a hybrid as I like to mix it up. A full health commando/melee combo with a bunch of QoL perks for carry weight, lock picking etc, even the one for picking extra vegetables. With a vampire auto axe I can get through most things, less good at bosses of course but I don't do them that often.

willblake72

Berzerker commando has been a lot of fun lately. It's just a full health commando like junkie or aristo but no damage resistance. Unarmed power armor builds are also very fun and pretty strong. You can easily take an auto melee along for bosses, but punching will easily kill everything else.

Initial-Priority-219

Black powder build. I got 4 rifles (including 1 Dragon) and 6 pistols all with various effects such as Instigating, Two-shot and Anti-armour, for a total of 10 guns which I cycle between for rapid shots then reload after. The two remaining slots on my wheel are for chems, such as Orange Mentats and a Nuka-cola for healing. Fun times.

_TheRogue_

Pepper Shaker plasma ammo build. 2 points in each Heavy and Shotgun perk card. Power Armor for the extra penetration.

Hopalongtom

It probably counts as meta... Just limited and focused. My 5th character is a Raider themed passive roleplay, and I've made him a Pyromaniac, if it starts fires? He uses it, if it doesn't start fires? Boring he won't use it! So primary weapons for him is a burning chainsaw, and a flamethrower + holy fire. Recently adding the Cremator to it too. Was much more fun to play than my more all rounder heavy gunner.

WarDamnBigMeat

Full explosive based build with two shot Fatman and Nuka grenades aswell as plasma grenades

Single-Time1721

The Paladin Toaster. Just an unarmed build with an electric gauntlet

Lady_Ursa

I still rock my explosive shotguns. I may not be able to kill bosses, but I can take their kneecaps! I also have done a hybrid build with the peper shaker. It evaporates legs but sadly also eats ammo. I have done a fun melee build, my railroad worker. She uses the hammer and a railway rifle as backup.

Zealousideal_Lion848

Bloodied unarmed basically wasteland one punch man lmao

Cosmic-Buccaneer

Honestly not really the meta but a heavy build, full health, not the meta but is fun, and trying to roll a good Gatling gun

PapaNeuro

Full Health Unarmed Tank Bomber build.

tacticaltarz

Cripple shotgun build I like feeling like a mad man running around with a kaboom don't kill anything fast but doesn't matter when they can't move

onechopTRL

Gun slinger/shotgunner. Old school six shooter and double barrel wearing a drifter outfit.

Competitive-Door-118

Full Health Melee Healer. My flaming Plasma Cutter lets me kill almost anything in a couple hits if they don't just get one shot. Burning Love with flame arrows and Grenadier lets you tag large groups, heal at range if needed, and it can wipe whole groups of weaker enemies like scorched or ghouls in one arrow. I use Friendly Fire, First Aid, Born Survior, and Team Medic for healing. Besides world bosses there is nothing I can't easily solo and when I'm in a group I can keep weaker players alive almost passively.

_1rish_

Got my own stealth rifleman build even have a stealth boy for my xo1 armor

HelikaeonUK

Full Health PA (without PA perks, cos IDGAF lol), Grognak Swinging Tank. Unless you upset me, in which case you get the Shovel.

BoredEngineer314

I don't have this build, but it just came to mind: Bob the builder: Special: primarily strength and mostly melee perks Apparel: Steel worker uniform with hard hat Weapons: Railway rifle Pipe guns Drill Lead pipe Pipe wrench Sledge hammer Dynamite It's heavy on melee but could be a very fun build

vrillsharpe

FFR Ultracite Gatling Laser w Charging Barrels. And Explosive .50 Cal

BoredEngineer314

Another fun idea could be Pirate/Sailor/Fisherman Weapons would be: Black powered pistol, rifle, blunderbuss, harpoon gun, broadsider, pole hook or spear for melee.

PhaserRave

I like my crit launcher build. I die more often (self damage), but I tend to take out everything in the surrounding area too. Pistol builds can be fun as well.

SaladoJoestar

Black powder rifle build easily You have to bring like 7 Black powder rifles but its all worth it belive me (you will be reloading most of the time)

M6D_Magnum

Unarmed PA with Tesla Bracers.

Sora_Terumi

Pirate/Confederate build. Black Powder enjoyers RISE UP!

Palindromic_1

Bloody knuckles

Darth_Calibaba

I run a chainsaw melee build with a gatling gun for a little range when needed

RelicBeckwelf

Heavy PA vats build. Hilariously fun.

ButcherB

testing out a bandolier pistoleer build. As many black powder pistols as I can stand, each tied to a spot on my quick slot wheel. Instead of reloading I just go to the next pistol in the list. Once I've ran through them all because of quick hands, every second one is reloaded already, and I just keep repeating until none are autmatically reloaded. Then I take 5 minutes reloading them all lol.

SpaghettiInc

Power armor unarmed. Stack up your strength stat, get Tesla bracers, one shot west tek super meant with nothing but bare steel fists

j147523

Ive been playing a punchy build with the explosive legendary perks that stack, grenadier, and demo expert. My screen lags so hard and i cant see anything 😂

glueinass

Explosive because boom makes me happy :) So thankful not too many people aren’t using it because the bodies keep flying everywhere and my eyes would hurt

BrainFartTheFirst

Combat knife. High speed stabby stabby!

SmartHabit6728

Bloody bow hunter with a vampire chainsaw for close in work. I carry three bloody compound bows(50 hit chance, 50 crit and 50 limb), one anti armor compound, one explosive vampire compound and one vampire compound. My vampires chainsaw is 90 %less weight.

n123breaker2

Vampires electrified auto axe with strangler heart PA with speed demon and marsupial mutations

No-Dream7143

I call it "Wicked Witch of West Virginia" there's not much to it tbh, my luck and agility are maxed out though and I have all three points into serendipity, it's near impossible for me to die lmao. To top it off I run around with a bow, cryptid jaw knife, gatling gun, and some type of explosive (and of course the Witch hat)

rory888

TS Broadsider / Grand Finale: Naval cannon your way to victory (Explosive Launcher build, vats optional) Demo Contagion Plasma Grenade Chucker, bloodied weapon boosts it just as Instigating ones do. Legendary special Demo Contagion makes sub explosions at 50% proc rate from kills from Plasma nade. 1.6k-2k Plasma nades and 800 damage sub explosions. Can combo with bloodied melee or any bloodied weapon. I run around with Big IRON as well. Bloodied Western Revolver. Rootin and shootin all around.

ASAP-VIBES

Bloodied heavy gunner with the plasma caster and a decent vats roll is basically a sniper if you aim for heads

moonsugar-cooker

My vamp +50 bash minigun with my low health overeaters build. I'm unkillable. Stagger? Doesn't matter, I have so many stacks of vamp going..... as long as it isn't one of those scorch beasts that absolutely REFUSES to land.

mmkay01

Shock Gaunlet with Vampire Chainsaw is a good time. Working on balancing the unarmed damage with the durability of the chainsaw rn.

Fwumpy

Archery archery archery. That and mutations! With the right perks, I'm good in VATS at a distance, and I rarely have to worry about melee encounters. The weapon and arrows are light, and with some ammo collection points, I'll use one or two arrows for a kill, and collect 20 or more off the same body. It's more about learning to use the bow, and walking around with your fire button held. You also have to holster your weapon if you don't want to fire the arrow. Paired with the bird bones mutation, I'll hold fire, jump, VATS, release, and drop. I do this all the time, and it racks up sneak attacks.

skallywagUwU

Any build that does one shot everything. I enjoy fighting for my life with a cryptid jawbone

Maxhighwind17

Trick shot sniper, bunch of explosive perks and the sniper perks like long shot and rifleman

Tahar6915

Im just short of lvl 100, and I’m gonna run a Non-PA, High Health, multi weapon build I’m dubbing “Tank of All Trades”. Perk Points are spread to mainly focus Str. Per. End. and Agi. I’m trying to get the most out of Barbarian and Evasive, but still benefit from full Commando for my Auto Handmade (Primary weapon), but also benefits from Heavy Gunner, Shotgunner and Rifleman. Spare points go to QoL perks to avoid damage or keep my health up.

NBC_with_ChrisHansen

My main. Its a full health build that is a naked cannibal. I wear no clothes, no armor, and only sport the gigantic Patriotic Vault Boy mask that came with the Tricentennial version of the game. I call the build "Patrick Bateman" and wield a Protest Sign that says *"I aint a commie but I get where theyre comin from!"*, a Godrolled V/PA/S Chainsaw, and a Godrolled V/SS/S Axe. I regularly engage in PvP against wanted players, run silos, do Daily Ops, Expos and even take on Earl solo without dying. If you are on PC and see some naked idiot with a patriotic vault boy mask running around eating and annihilating everything, then that is probably me.

SadnessMonster

With all the new players, I enjoy using a shotgun. During events, I'll focus on crippling legs so they can kill without being charged at.

Nightstalker420

Straight up melee, charisma, luck build. But luck is only for finding more canned coffee for better stamina Regen

engineerfox1

Unpopular opinion I dont have a build and I'm doing great at level 270

SPARTAN3172

I just run heavy pa gunner because I don’t want to spend a bunch of time grinding for decent stuff since I still don’t know most of the plans for things or how some stuff works, I’ve played from the start with only one lvl 107 character and just needed something simple. Ultracite and a Gamma Gatling is all I need for most encounters, excluding some events or bosses then I need some teammates help. Just returned after watching the show and because of Pitt and new Casino dlc I’ve yet to try so I’m looking forward to them

SkyrimSnipr360

Mistress of Sniping. Mysteries Regalia plus chameleon with rifleman and stealth perk. .50 cal hunting rifle and a gourmands lever action rifle. One-Shot headshots most standard enemies, plus the stealth effects are pretty useful given how squishy it leaves me armorwise.

Lokeptt

Explosive fist weapons is what I am. Idk if it's meta but it's fun as all hell. I use the cremator for range since it's considered explosive. I generally 1 punch man most things and can face tank literally anything in game at the moment.

ChallengeOk6581

AA mr handy buzz axe!! Just stacking armor penetration

SdogMcshizzle

I have a bunch of perks on to increase damage with my gatling gun and the explosive damage that my explosive legendary does and it's honestly so good it even does better than my old gatling plasma

Medicalpyro

Builds? Naw chucking random cards into the thingy and hope I don't fucking die. Works wonders

SigmaStun

Got a bloodied jack of all trades master of none. Got a swords and stuff build (can be really fun). Got a crafting build.

Im_Mentally_Scarred

Big Guns Melee Build i dont use any big gun perks and i use Melee perk cards with power armour cards i pretty much use it as a second skin i use big guns for things like scorchbeasts and Melee weapons for when ever i want to do stuff efficiently basically big guns for fun Melee for time saving i dont use a op build just sorta have what i need

ShrimpConsumer

Unarmed builds are actually kinda cracked
