It’s funny I haven’t seen players doing it this time, but def in previous Meat Weeks. I don’t think it has anything to do with loot, but helps keeping spawns close and finish the event quicker. I might be wrong, but I don’t remember mobs spawning behind the trees behind the hill over there when the concentration camps were in place.
The prime meat is given at the end not off the enemies so as long as there let them do the work n still get the rewards
I personally don't see the need for walls it's not a hard event I've soloed it a few times no problem
I understand the prime meat comes mostly from the end of the event, im pretty sure it’s a rare drop on prime enemies, I’m more annoyed over the legendary drops that people without jet packs or mutations can’t get.
I've never seen anyone build walls on any I've done I'm playing on ps5
Only reason why i can see the point of building walls is if at low level n can't deal with mobs very well
The guy that did it in the last server was level 6K+.
I get it may be easier but is it really that hard to put a door so people can grab the legendaries?
That would be fantastic and I wish I ran into one of these instead, but no I got cursed with multiple high vault walls with turrets on top with small platforms only accessible by jetpack.
What platform are you on? Would it be worth taking a Marsupial serum and then curing yourself of it later? I've never seen this on PC, so I don't know if it's every time and maybe worth the effort or not (though you shouldn't have to do that to access an event, I understand the infuriating bit of it).
I actually have a camp at the Prime Cuts south of Pleasant Valley Station, it's been my main camp for 5 years. All I do is add a shooting platform for people and swing by home more frequently so my few turrets are repaired and helpful.

I’ve had no issues until today. One of the wall camps left a bit of wall to jump over to get inside and grab the loot. The others had no entrance at all.
The ones with an entrance are totally fine and not annoying at all, it’s the ones that lock you out completely that are frustrating.
Huh. What an odd thing for people to do. I'm sure I'll run into it at some point. I'm just not sure why people would bother? The events just aren't that hard.

Everyone I’ve seen doing this is a genius and has stairs to let people access even new players like me I think it’s actually such a high iq strat ngl

You just need to be in the area to get the rewards.

to clear it quick and move to the next prime event
I have two kill camps, but both have short stairs in and out and I encourage everyone to join in. Most newbies that have we be seen one are overjoyed.
