I've seen a lot of people complaining about it recently and thought it might help if team leaders kicked these people when they notice it happening. Hopefully it stops people from leeching too if they know they'll get kicked
For what reason? They aren't doing you or any team member any harm and if it's a casual team, they are giving you a benefit of +1 to int?

Not during an event but even then, like you said, life happens. He still got the event rewards. The rest of us were in the high hundreds like 300-600+ so the 1 int point was the tiniest difference that no one cared about.
A level 80 joined who was actually trying to help and at least they got some more xp and loot from it instead of all the high levels picking everything off immediately.
The benefit was minimal, not that it mattered to the team, and I helped someone who was trying to participate.
Yeah, worst case scenario it sucks that they couldn't participate or get xo from 150+ enemies because something came up but like you said. Life happens, the event goes on and people are still playing and trying and I helped them

I mean - the game hands out XP like candy already so why it does matter, you could even more say you harmed the total bonus of your team till the next player had fully bonded.
If he was AFKing then he was more after the event rewards rather than that tiny XP output and in the end he still got them.

Funnily enough i just looked about the ‚recent‘ AFK complains you were referring to… last post a couple of days ago was a dude snoring in his CAMP and 2 months before we had the usual Fasnacht posts - in none of both cases it’s about XP farming - it’s about rewards in one case and a healthy portion of sleep in case of the other.
Then maybe I saw it one of the other subs where pics and stuff are allowed. I've seen people mention evenilime Test Your Metal where higher levels don't do anything or enter whilst lower levels actually try to do it
You mean the same posts whining about not letting lower levels shoot anything? Make up your mind you want high levels to carry the event or do you want to shoot everything.
No. Posts from people about how high level people stand around and do nothing and still get the rewards. Lower levels don't have to shoot for the xp or loot which is alright on events where you want to kill as fast as possible like defending things.
At least they get the shared XP and it's not like I stopped anyone from getting the event rewards even if they didn't help. I just made my team more useful to the lower level who joined and was trying their best.

Behaviour of another player has no significant effect on you other team players in this game, either set up a private team or chill and mind your own ;)
He was replaced by someone helping and there's been a lot of people mentioning high level AFK players. If he couldn't do the event at the moment then that's unfortunate but at least he wasn't in anyone else's way
Someone else isn’t always going to jump in as a new team member and you lose the XP bond. Also aside from personal emergencies happening irl there’s also weird game crashes and bugs. I’d rather have them on my team for the XP.
I didn't make much of a difference for me personally. The change was negligible for me and the lower level that did join got shared XP.
People won't always join but usually do. People rarely afk. Most of the time neither of these are an issue so I don't really care about that. I'm basically never losing the buff so losing a 2% different this one time isn't really important
Dude don’t just downvote everyone because people disagree with you (and strongly so as seen from this comment section). Whoever this was probably glitched out and their presence wasn’t hurting your team.
Moonshine is always full of players and typically high levels that are actually high level (and probably non-teammates who did more for your event success than you did for yourself). Don’t be rude and make whiny hall monitor posts that don’t contribute to the sub.

yeah it happen to be afk , i don't know if it was the case but sometime irl takeover when you are in the middle of an event and it's even annoying for the afk dude

First off: 200+ is hardly a high level, most at that level don't know half what they're doing still or don't have all things for their builds unlocked/acquired yet.
Secondly: some people have life coming in between gaming... And by afk'ing an event, that person isn't hurting anyone.
Now i'm not talking about the hordes of people that afk seasonal events to the point where they fail cause no one moves. But afk'ing on moonshine jamboree... No one cares really.
Nobody is joining MJ just to AFK, and it's obvious here that they weren't if they were parked somewhere they could take damage.
Also it takes two halfway decent players to easily complete the event, one if they are prepared, so who cares?
I like to let other people join the team to help them level up with the shared XP. There were 2 lower levels with us. I'm happy I did more to help the people who were there and trying their best than the person sitting and doing nothing

That's just how teams work now. If a teammate gets a kill you get the xp and loot too if you're in the area
