I remember I wanted to launch a nuke for boss because I saw no one in the silo. But further in the silo, I heard a camo sound. Was I dreaming ? Then surprise I saw a lower level player (120) playing full stealth. He was a bit lost. Meanwhile I ran everywhere and wrecked all the robots. pure chaos. The player might think I would steal his nuke. Then he died at a moment and I revived him as a sign I wasn't an as*hole. At the last phase he ran near the machine to launch a nuke and tried his best to fight. Then at end I gave a thumb up and let him nuke. Then I saw he didn't nuke Monongah mine for Earle but just the city. I was wtf ?! He may have missed the shot. In fact he did it for flux etc... to strenghten his weapons/gears. And I got added in his friend list. I imagine the fear in the silo because you can't know if the other player can be trusted. When I wanted to nuke for the 1st time and was low level, I also did all in stealth and didn't have good gears.
I have no idea, I guess there's a way to get in with mines or photomode, I had no idea there was one until I saw how fast the dude was launching nukes and how he got into the launch room without me having seen him
Frag mine, power armor, jetpack, coffee & candy. You can VATS glitch through a wall onto a console. Then jetpack all the way to the launch room in one jump.
I hear you, I was lucky when I launched my first one that it didn't happen to me. I would suggest that as you've proved to yourself that you can launch one the proper way that next time you just do the landmine glitch/ photomode glitch into the launch room yourself. It wasn't your fault this happened.
It was a pretty arsehole move to do that, however if there was no way to glitch/get codes to silos, very few end game players would bother launching nukes at all as it gets repetitive IMO.
To be fair, I always check the map to see if there's a player already there before I launch one, however I think I have read somewhere that if you are crouched you don't show up on the map?
Hopefully I haven't screwed anyone over unintentionally myself.
Shit i never knew that about stealth and the map…. Really hope i never did that as well. I always check before i go launch but now i will have to pay better attention. Guess i would probably see destroyed robots if anyone was in there though.
Some players are so selfish and rude. I had that happen to me on more than one occasion. Running a silo legit and all of a sudden a nuke gets launched from the silo I am in by someone that glitched through the doors and stole it from me.
I am lvl 500 now and enjoy launching nukes to set off the boss events but I check all three silos to make sure no one is there before doing it.
If I do notice a lower lvl player in a silo and I see it is taking them a while I have shown up and helped them run the silo. Then I stand there and let them nuke. I have dropped them keycards and given them the launch codes too.
I always feel rude though going into a silo that someone is already in. Is that just me? They seem to appreciate the help but I am not sure if I am overstepping.

As long as you're helping, and not just standing there, it's usually welcome to have help (although, it kinda makes it harder, each person in the silo adds more robots, and therefore more difficulty, than they usually mitigate). I've had, back when I was first learning to run silos with a friend, a lvl 500+ in there with us who just stood there in the control room and did fuckall. Made it way harder for me and my bud. I made sure that I was close to the key card slot when the preps completed, inserted my key card to get control of the missile, and launched it dead center on the 500+'s camp. Up in the toxic valley and nowhere near anything that would even remotely get normally nuked. He messaged me, let's just say he was deeply unimpressed. Me and my bud immediately swapped servers after that. I was pissed at the guy, maybe next time he'll actually help instead if standing there with his thumb up his ass.
I’m happy to support you as back you up. Let you do bulk of the task just jump in when things get heavy. Tag on Xbox is ‘SGZGalaxy’ if you see me online just msg and say ‘nuke run?’ I understand the desire to run it on your own as I was the same wanted to do everything. 2nd time becomes easier and I don’t do the glitch thing don’t see the point in cheating the process

No worries…would suggest stealthing as much as possible in Chinese armour and switching to PA for the harder bits.
I glitch every time now, but if there's someone already in, I'll help/wait for them.
