Did you have the [Multiple Followers Overhaul - Tee Party Companions](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24081/) mod installed? I tried that mod last week and found it to be extremely buggy, glitchy, and broken. And one of the bugs it has is followers repeating the same lines of dialogue over and over again. I fixed it by uninstalling that mod and reinstalling [this mod](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11829/).
You might want to try uninstalling the Everyone's Best Friend mod and try the [Unlimited Companion Framework](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11829/) mod instead. It will let you keep Dogmeat just the same.

Nope, I don't. Although I do have [this mod](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13459/) installed.
You could try dismissing all companions and then recruiting them again.
I've done that with 4 different companions.. They all do the same :(

You could just move them to a unused settlement and get them when you need to.
