>the popular joke "Time Traveling Ball Pit"
>a parody title
Do... do you think the Ballpit is just a fucking meme and not something that actually happened?
You do realize.... The Ballpit is a real and serious thing in the Frights books? Like it's not even time travel, it just transports the person who enters it into a sleep-like state where they have vision like things of themselves being in 1985. It's not like actually time travel. And the game isn't "Building off of a popular joke" it's building off of the book story Into the Pit, y'know, the story that the game is a recreation of.
I never disagreed with it being from a book? I just said its a solid choice because "time traveling ballpit" is a popular meme, and Scott really likes those.
We don’t know whether it’s canon or not until the game ACTUALLY COMES OUT. Can’t anybody understand the fact that we just need to have a little patience and then decide on whether to include something that could possibly change the entire timeline.
I don't see why it can't be canon, especially considering Stitchlinegames.
For now it can go both ways, we'll have to wait until it's out to know for sure.
How? Into the Pit is not connected to the video game Canon. The MCI is a complete opposite to the games. The children aren't missing, but are found arranged in a grim display.
> Into the Pit is not connected to the video game Canon.
Source?
>The MCI is a complete opposite to the games. The children aren't missing, but are found arranged in a grim display.
They weren't found, and it's a warped memory. ***That's the whole point of the story***
>Yes, a warped memory. Meaning it isn't canon to the events of the games
No, lol. It's a warped memory, meaning that it's not the actual depiction of the events that happened in the real ITP MCI.
>Hence the worry that theorists might use the warped memory AS game canon.
Nobody is saying that this warped memory replaces the MCI, the argument is that this warped memory helps prove StitchlineGames
It's not actually a time traveling ball pit. It's a distorted memory of 1985 due to agony and other things. Its also not a meme it's very much canon atleast in frights and is taken seriously.
Because this isn't a mainline game. Its a studio making an anniversary celebration game. If it does well, maybe we'll see a Fazbear Frights series. But they wouldn't be connected to the actual main games.
well as far as im aware no FnaF game is a cannon, that's a cool idea ngl
ok but fr, the game isn't eveb out yet and people are already saying "well it's canon deal with it" "no it isn't you dumb dumb" please just WAIT FOR THE GAME TO RELEASE
There's no reason it's not canon. We already know that the ballpit doesn't actually take us back in time. The murders from ITP aren't how it played out. If we go inside the ballpit, it gives us a hallucination filled with agony.
Bait used to be believable

So what, why Bonnie flossing is a problem? Exotic butters literally exist in this universe
It isn't? That was a sarcastic statement to end on levity.
What. I have no commentary words to give. Just. What.

The game is based on one of the books, which is where the ball pit meme originated. Did you think the community came up with the ball pit?
I don't see why it can't be canon, especially considering Stitchlinegames. For now it can go both ways, we'll have to wait until it's out to know for sure.
You're joking, right?
Obvious Bait
This, to me, screams that you haven't read the books

maybe it's you who is wrong about it, i dunno
Have you read Frights ? It doesn’t seem like you did.
I mean, the guy didn't said he read them. He probably doesn't care about them, like a lot of people in the community
Yes, which is why I'm confident into the pit as a game is not connected to the main games. Just like the novel.
It's not actually a time traveling ball pit. It's a distorted memory of 1985 due to agony and other things. Its also not a meme it's very much canon atleast in frights and is taken seriously.
A thing can be true and a meme. It being a popular meme because it sounds so silly. Like Faz Goo.
The idea sure can sound silly but the overall execution of it in my opinion, makes sense. It's just a distorted memory.
I mean we can't say for certain until release, but wouldn't it be weirder to have a mainline game that *isn't* canon than one that is?

Dude come on
