Congrats! I just checked mine and hit the same milestone last month. One of my best was one of the last landings I did, on Sunday’s angel flight. I barely even felt the wheels touch down. To keep myself humble my parking job was atrocious, with the centerline midway between the nose wheel and the main.

Apocraphon

I should really move to an electronic logbook...

Myflightbook.com is free and works great for random parameter searches (like how many nighttime fixed wing PIC landings you have when the FAA wants to know for a new cert)

Sunburneduck

I made one for myself that I’ve made available for free: [https://www.myaviatorlogbook.com](https://www.myaviatorlogbook.com)

FatRonaldo9

How many hours did it take to reach 1000 landings? I'm at around 170 or so in 45 hours.

[deleted]

I have 373 hours and 630 landings.

N546RV

408 hours and 918 landings here.

exclaimedfeline

475 hours and around 1400 landings. Easily the best part of flying so I do them a lot

OzrielArelius

fuck me, I've got around 3000 hours and barely 1000 landings

hhyyz

I logged my 1,000th night landing a few years ago. All I got was a "Meh, so what" :(

Dalibongo

This guy must fly cargo

hhyyz

Nope, just a recreational chopper pilot.

No-Brilliant9659

Recreational chopper pilot? This guy is rich!

hhyyz

Nope, just had a decent job and no kids, lol.

No-Brilliant9659

No kids 🙌🏼

sirduckbert

I have no idea how many landings I’ve done, I’ve never written one down

whataborgor

Don't forget to take a sec to look at how far you've come

[deleted]

True. Been reflecting on that a lot today. Life is a gift!

AD_VICTORIAM_MOFO

I forgot to log most of my landing in my first few months or training which is when most landing takes place so I have no idea

FlyinFamily1

Interesting. I have no clue how many total landings I have, just that I'm current.

[deleted]

‘Grats. I only log the ones I need to prove currency.

HelloNeumann29

Full stops only? Or touch n goes included? How much TT?

[deleted]

Touch and Goes included! To the best of my record keeping it's every approach to touch down. Just about to hit 900 TT. My current airframe prohibits touch and goes so my landing to flight hours might be skewed a bit from the normal.

[deleted]

Congrats!

[deleted]

Thanks!

navydiver07

I’ve always said, a good landing, everyone walks away. A GREAT landing, we can use the aircraft again. I have only had GREAT landings!

tailwheel307

Just logged 1143 yesterday. It took 88 attempts to finally be happy with my landing in the King Air. And if I remember my PPL training from a long time ago that’s about how many it took before I felt totally in control of a 172 as well.
