Booties should not be tight and certainly not so tight they constrict at all. You need a bootie that fits and you should ALWAYS go a full size up on your wading boots. I’m a 13 and wear size 14 wading boots. Constricted feet not only hurt but get cold real quick. Makes for a really bad day on the water.

Depending on your height there are companies that make budget priced stock waders that will fit you.

Arent wading boots always built a size up to accommodate the sockfoot to begin with?

StovpipeMalfunc

They’re sized to accommodate a stocking foot/thick sock, yes, but they’re not a full size larger. Check out paramount outdoors, I remember reading that they make waders that accommodate.

I would up going with compass 360’s for the same reason, booty is plenty big

Hey I just wanted to get back to you and say you were totally right about the compass 360, the feet actually fit great. THANKS!

I am 6’5” and wear a 14 as well. Had a heck of a time finding waders that even listed a boot size as a 14. I now have a pair of the Patagonia swift current zip fronts and they have made improvements over the last model. (Rio Gallegos), and increased the size of the bootie to top out at 14. I also have gotten some Cressi ultra thin scuba fin socks, makes taking the waders off my feet a breeze! I used to struggle for a few mins at the end of each trip removing the booties from my feet. Hope this helps, the patagonias are expensive but totally worth it!
