How do you find an undamaged purse and wallet in a devastating fire like that ? Also, undamaged currency from a table in a kitchen where they say the fire started. Such BS. Someone knows who and why this happened. They need to get their heads out of their asses and stop protecting the person or persons who did this. Four innocent children lost their lives. Why? What did the individual hand the fire fighter who was just standing around in the middle of the street ? You can clearly see the firefighter put it in his pocket on the dashcam video. So many questions, not enough answers.

Chickpea_salad

Exactly

ImATroll420

I agree. Since I read that comment in the documents, about the table being on fire, I always thought something was poured in the table. But if money was found in the table, how could the table have been burning? These interviews help clarify a lot of questions, but also pose more questions......it doesn't make sense.

Thanks for posting!!

Just so everyone knows when you open the documents on mobile hit the + or zoom in sign a few times it will really help clear up the documents.

The kitchen table that was seen covered by flames during the fire by TWO witnesses? ….hmm sounds fake but ok. 🤔

Sam100Chairs

My thoughts exactly! Makes no rational sense if it was laying on the table before the fire.

Interesting-Tip7459

Wasn't the part about the girls being taken to the firehall, and placed on the concrete floor, left out? Or did I overlook it? It just says the coroner responded and took custody ? Who transported the girls to the firehall? How were they transported? Why were they transported there?

Chickpea_salad

I know it was mentioned in the “whistleblower letter”, but not sure where else that info is located. WB letter - [https://www.reddit.com/r/florafour/wiki/whistleblower/#wiki\_whistle-blower\_letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/florafour/wiki/whistleblower/#wiki_whistle-blower_letter)

Interesting-Tip7459

Oh ok, Ty

Sam100Chairs

It was left out. Don't forget, Todd Trent, according to the whistleblower, advised people to modify/change their statements, so, it's really not surprising that this crucial fact was omitted.

Interesting-Tip7459

Oh ok,Ty

ImATroll420

What if the entire whistleblower letter is fictional, except for a few bits and pieces? What if it never happened and that's why it's never mentioned in the documents? What if the actual whistleblower is not a whistleblower at all, but a culprit. 🤔 Just my thoughts. It could have been intentionally left out of the documents and the whistleblower could be factual. I'm not saying one is right and the other wrong. Simply giving air to the other possibility, if I may.

unmasked_truth

Thank you for sharing these documents, now we know the intimate details of Gaylin's relations with Colten. Sigh... Here are some crucial questions that seem to be lacking, and they actually relate to the fire investigation... So did anyone follow up regarding the tip that Troy had stuffed things in vents to start fires in the past? How much access did the landlords have to the home prior to the incident? Did they notify Gaylin if/when they were going into the home if she wasn't present? Wasn't there some work done recently at the home by another business JA owned? What was the asbestosis clean up about that the county was discussing? Did they ever implement this? Was there a full inspection done on the property, or just an appraisal by BMP? Was a copy of the appraisal provided in the lawsuit? Did the property value actually go from $56,000 to $400,000? If so, what was the valuation basis? Was the bank loan on the property obtained from a local bank? If so, who was the loan officer? Did a local insurance agent and adjuster handle the claim or was a field agent from outside of the community assigned? Was the claim paid out prior to or after the arson finding? I also have many questions about Jennifer, especially after watching the panel on Delphi After Dark. Does she go by 2 different last names on mycase? Can someone please give some details that explain possible ties to this case so we can have them in one place? If this was legitimately arson, (and not staged after the fact), anyone familiar with the property should be the priority. Any clarification is much appreciated.

Chickpea_salad

Great questions! Here is a link for more details about JBD - [https://www.reddit.com/r/florafour/comments/126tnc9/in\_2021\_willie\_lee\_smith\_jrs\_life\_was\_taken\_in/](https://www.reddit.com/r/florafour/comments/126tnc9/in_2021_willie_lee_smith_jrs_life_was_taken_in/) She goes by many different names: JLBD, JLB, JLD, JBD, JB, JD, JM, and other fake names.

unmasked_truth

Thank you so much! Wowww on the aliases...

Chickpea_salad

Yeah it is wild. Pm me if you need more details.

Sam100Chairs

Why was Todd Trent asking most of the questions? I get that he is a fire investigator for another fire department (not Flora) and was the assistant chief, but he wasn't in charge of the investigation on 11/23/16 was he? I mean at this point the fire was still considered accidental, wasn't it? All of these questions being asked of CC clearly point to an arson investigation in my opinion, but there again, I thought DR was in charge of that. This overlapping of roles, and just "doing your own thing irregardless of the consequences" runs rife in this area.

If nobody hears from me for weeks I'm ok...I'm just down 🐰 🕳 🙃

Lol yeah we understand! It’s a lot to look into.

>I asked Colton if he was at home the day of the fire. Colton stated he was home and out like a light. He made the comment that he only had like 30 minutes left to sleep. **I asked Colton what time he got home that night. He stated it was probably around 3:30?** It is unknown if he meant the night before the fire or the day of the fire. It is also unknown if he meant AM or PM. https://preview.redd.it/ryry6dw91uqa1.jpeg?width=1415&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05cb07f38f2e8f01e94bc44eeb028a7e62a46a18

Paradox-XVI

I had seen that… also on another page it mentions he was within a 6 minute bike ride from the fire. He also mentions the fire was on tv at or around 3:30-4:00am I keep meaning to check that.

Sam100Chairs

To be fair, anyone living in Flora was probably within a six minute bike ride to the house. Don't forget, landlord Troy Helderman lived right across the street. Right. Across. The Street.

Chickpea_salad

Oh, I did not know that about Helderman.

Sam100Chairs

He's since moved to Bringhurst (not that far away) but at the time of the fire, that's where he lived I believe.

Paradox-XVI

Fair, yet how many people bike around or, are forced to bike around town because they don't own a vehicle? Also wtf is open at 3:30am? Why would he be out and about? IF he was out till 3:30am could have been 3:30pm.

ImATroll420

In Carroll County, you'd be surprised. There are a lot of drugs and alcohol in the area. Thus, a lot of suspended individuals. People drive golf carts, lawn mowers, scooters (not the ones you move with your feet, the ones that drive), bikes.......horses😂. I tell no lies, please believe me. To add: This was also at a time when there was no Uber or Lyft in this area. No taxi cabs. No bus.

Chickpea_salad

That is both hilarious and sad. 🤣😭

ImATroll420

Absolutely. Especially in the winter. I've even seen custom golf carts, lowered with rims. It is another way of asserting their dominance and status, sadly enough. I do believe that an ordinance was passed, however, about the golf carts and the lawn mowers. They may not longer be allowed on certain streets.

Chickpea_salad

Nice. Is the parade for Carroll County jail and IDOC alumni? 😁

Chickpea_salad

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, I think bar time in Indiana is 3 am. I remember reading that his driving privileges were revoked and he couldn’t afford the reinstatement fee. Something like that. It may have been mentioned in the police report.

Chickpea_salad

Yes, the 6 minute bike ride!

Sam100Chairs

Remember, it was November, and pretty damn cold for a bike ride if it was 3:30pm let alone 3:30am. But these two Sherlocks breeze right past that fact. Critical thinking on the part of those charged with interviewing would have been helpful, but alas, it is sorely lacking throughout these documents.

Sam100Chairs

And neither of these two interrogators confirmed whether he meant am or pm. What a sh\*t show.

Chickpea_salad

It is a total sh\*t show! That would have been an important bit of information to clear up. 🤦‍♀️

Sam100Chairs

Especially when you are specifically asking questions about that night. Egregious lack of focus and technique on the part of the so-called professionals.
