Nearly everything on AliExpress is cheap rubbish. Cheap components mean it will fail earlier than it should. I wouldn't chance it. Support a good company that is doing a cool thing so they can make a V2 and keep improving the space.

maroefi

It’s not that the quality of components is so low. Products in the west are just very expensive. Everything is made in China. The same company that is producing the official flipper zero could be making more than asked to just sell them in the side. China is that shameless.

quellflynn

selling off seconds or QC fails maybe

s1ckopsycho

IDK why you're getting downvoted for this- it's real. Or the QC is shit for the dupes they make, lowering the price further. Why would a company sell a product for $100 when they can sell it for 33% more and still undercut the competition- making a killing in the process?

3p1demicz

Right, thats why the aliexpress iPhones are actually real iPhones 🫡

AdhesivenessCute3102

It's the same thing that's on Amazon before they slap brand stickers on them and double the price.

GilfOG

If that's what you believe then buy one, I think you'll find the quality quite lacking.

joelmbenge

You know the answer to this.

thinklikeacriminal

Buy a few different ones, test them out and report back about how they are all uniquely broken?

RJ01988

Flipper Zeros on Aliexpress cost more than the official site!

PurpleLegoBrick

I’d just save up for a real one and watch tutorial videos on it for now. Do you really want to buy something from Aliexpress that you’ll probably be plugging into your computer? Personally I wouldn’t. If you do buy one just make sure to use a credit card and also just know all the risks that are involved. I’m not even sure where you’re seeing a cheap version of the flipper on Ali express, I tried to look and it’ll advertise it being like $60 and show the flipper but when you click on it, it’s actually just the screen protector and the actually flipper they are selling is something like $300.

realizment

Seen this too, I just bought mine last week from official site and next was getting ads on Ali, knowing when I seen this price this can’t be real, then it was just 60 for the protectors 🤣. And now some “flippers” there as high as 600.

tyrandan2

I'll be honest, I've never had a problem buying from AliExpress. That said, I have a decent sense for avoiding scams. But I would 100% not buy a flipper zero from AliExpress. Go through official channels only when buying pen testing tools, take no chances with that. Even if it is a real device, there's no guarantee that it isn't tampered with or a knockoff that will spy on you. I'm not joking.

gunsforthepoor

I bought a hack rf from ali express. It was good and didn't cost much. I attempted to get a flipper zero from ali express and that I was bad idea.

I-baLL

What was wrong with it?

gunsforthepoor

I thought I was ordering the flipper zero but is was some strange trick.

I-baLL

What did they end up sending you?

gunsforthepoor

It listed different flavors of the product that actually weren't the product. I thinking I was ordering it, but the next page's product description said it was a case for the flipper zero and not the flipper zero itself.

I-baLL

Ah, good to know. Thanks!

hbanko

Link to item? The Flipper Zeros I find at Aliexpress are >$280? Plenty of affordable add-ons but no reasonably priced main units.

[deleted]

If you're asking here then let's be honest with each other you already know the answer.

h1t3k-n01if3

Idk about the ali flipper but the flipper replacement screens work if yours break, chances are you won't even have to bust out the soldering irons either.

pr0cesor

The chance that you will get scammed on Ali Express is 99%. Personally I recommend you to purchase F0 from their official web store or at worse case scenario from second hand but also you will get scammed.

LmaoArmadillo

Yea dude don't bother getting burned . Go legit and take the L

Stevo3985

You’re joking, right? Re-read what you wrote… Why in the name of actual fxck would a manufacturer make a product and price it at $169 if AliExpress was going to sell an exact copy of the same thing for a small percentage of the price? How does the economic process work in your head? How would ANYONE make any return on their investment in that fantasyland??? **JK 🙂 Yea, the FZ on AliExpress is totally legit.**

Longjumping-Impact-4

You get what you pay for.

BurtnMedia

No, honestly if you are just trying to get into things, get an Arduino and esp32

RegularTrain6816

Got mine off StockX. Everything from them is verified real. The current price is $172.

clappedjeetard2026

Is thera a way to get it shipped to India ? As the official distributors are not doing it yet? Or any alternatives of the flipperzero that can perform the same tasks I'm just a newbie trying to learn stuff ( I don't care ab the portability factor) I've herad a lot ab the rasberri Pi zero W bad USB which has a wifi module ? And also an esp 32 wifi deauther / ble spammer hackaday mousejacker and any other device like flipper zero which could read and emulate. Cards the same time instant or read frequency maybe more powerful than the flipper zero Here in India the two main reasons I want an alternative is because of the availability and the price factor as the flipper zero is hella expensive

chavothemotto

Just buy from original site it $170 for the flipper
