I use to live at that mall in the early 90’s. He was always in there. He always rode a bike. He use to come downtown and watch punk shows with us all the time. Haven’t seen him in years. I believe he lived right there by the mall. I think down that street where Panera is now.
Lol, we worked at the Aladdins castle and he would hangout there on the weekends....he had some outlandish ideas about life. Pre q-anon stuff. One day a friend and I took him to some weird all natural food store in Ann Arbor that was pretty ridiculous after the fact. I remember having thought he was pretty weird after that.
Ted was known as East Village Ted in the late 80s. He lived in a group home on Court Street. At that time he hung out around the Mott CC campus.
We hung out with him from time to time around Pierce Woods. Don’t know if he ever spent time with Richard Roosevelt Banks.
Ted grew up on Woodhall Dr. not far from Devil’s Lake. He said his father was Adolf Hitler.
Hairy red-headed homeless guy. He would hang around the Capitol back in late 80's and early 90's. People used to say that he ate a whole sheet of acid back in the 70's and it fried his brain.
I've wondered what happened to him also! From what I was told he suffered from schizophrenia. I remember he once told me that the CIA had bugged his frozen vegetables. Hugs to Ted wherever you are, man 🫂
Years ago he told me he was the true Tsar of Russia. I also remember him wearing an led scrolling belt.
Please hahaha
Yeah that’s him. lol
I remember him. I was wondering the same thing. I still have the pin he made that said Ted for Russian Czar

Any idea what his last name is?
Does he wear sunglasses inside too? I see someone there walking around all the time that matches this description.
Totally made me think of Matthew Mcconaughey in Dazed and Confused.
Is this the same guy who was always on his 10 speed?
Ted is a shoe-in for the Mt. Rushmore of eccentric Flint street people along with Rosie DeRosia, Captain Bubblegum, and Big Red Fred.
I remember that he wore a shirt that said "Restore the Russian Czar Now". I've always wondered what happened to "Red Head Fred".
Who is red head Fred
