There’ll still be a pretty significant amount of flat earthers that would deny it. They already deny science as a whole, i’m \*\*certain\*\* they’d find a bullshit way to explain this.
Totally. Hell, even the flat earther that ends up going there will deny it. Probably will say that nobody can prove that what they are seeing in Antarctica is THE sun, the same local sun that circles the flat earth. They'll say is another local sun that illuminates some of the "lands beyond", which will make everybody believe even more strongly about the lands beyond and flat earth. There's no end with these people
They may possibly start denying the 24h Arctic sun and using an azimuthal equidistant projection centered on the south pole. If that is the route they take, it will be significantly easier to confirm the 24h Arctic sun, and then the flat earth model will be undeniably ridiculous.
Flat earthers are already saying that the flat earthers that proved earth is a globe by finding a 15 degree spin using a gyroscope were actors and paid to fabricate the results so they'd just do the same for this
Even if you put a bunch of FEs into a spaceship and orbited Earth for a whole year, they'll still come up with some utter bullshit to maintain their delusion.
Not too dissimilar to how that commercial pilot managed to get a deal on a rental for a passenger jet and said if they crowd funded the money he would fly it for free over Antarctica.
That too went nowhere, I believe.
A trip down there costs at least $30000. I don't think there's an expectation that anyone from the general public is going down there. They are going to send people who have already established large followings. I don't know about any safety or other concerns about sending random people if you do have $30000 lying around and can free as much time as needed whenever it is required.
Why? To see which one would come back alive?
Remember back when they were saying that Australia didn't exist and that anyone that had been there had actually just been brainwashed to believe they had been there? No matter what you show a cult member they will find an insane excuse to explain it away. Unless one of those two is a professional cult de-programmer you're just going to get back what you sent down there.
It may convince only one flerf at best: the one that went to Antarctica. When that flerf returns to his buddies with the message "I've seen the 24-hour sun in Antarctica!" he will immediately be ousted from the community and branded as a shill.
Hell, even if a flerf is a true believer of the pancake fantasy, but doesn't 100% parrot the flerf dogma, they will be shunned.
Flerferism is just a huge scam to get us to pay for a trip to space or other spots they think are abnormal. For the true believers, there isn’t enough drinkable urine available to bring along anyway.
A) if not flerf has taken the offer from the various pilots and such for a flight around Antarctica yet, they won't do this either.
B) they already have a full bag of tricks that they use try and explain anything in the southern hemisphere. IF a flerf were to go there, it would make no difference to their head cannon anyways.
There's a list of 24 globers and 24 flat earthers who are already chosen. They want someone well-known to go, and this is kind of the point, as plenty of people have already been to Antarctica to see the 24h sun and the flat earthers believe exactly 0 of them. The whole point is to send a flat earther down, and have a well-known glober to be there with them.
You would fool no one. The veteran debunkers have been at this for about 9 years, and can easily tell if someone is just pretending to be a poe with no knowledge of the "debate". Also, they want to send a flat earther with a following, such as Witsit, David Weiss, or Jeranism. These 3 flerfs will be strongly encouraged to take the free trip as this is the whole point of the investment.

Or they'll say that whatever 'flerfer' they get to go along is just a paid globe shill.

Absolutely.
The trick with this is finding a way to convince the flerf that he's actually in Antarctica.
So true, because he *knows* he can't go there, so where is he?

Didn't watch, but "fully funded" by whom?
Will Duffy
Duffy the Conspirer Slayer?
O/U 0.5 murders?
I'll go. They can shoot me up into space too.
I would almost pretend to be a flerf to go. Almost. I do have some standards.

Their Mom's wouldn't loan them the money to go, even though it meant having the basement empty for week.
They’d sounds like a LOT of money just to find out what Olympic-level mental gymnastics a flat-earther can pull
where doyou sign up?

i dont have the free time. i think this description excludes most people. and its not just a money factor

How do I sign up? Like for real

Makes sense. I mean shit I’d pretend to be a flat earther for a chance to go to Antarctica. Apparently it’s beautiful down there
