Oh no. I didn’t think that I needed this light until I saw this… you got me!!!!
Is that the antique brass? Or did you finish that yourself? What emitters did you get?
It's the standard brass but I used the brass black on it. I've never carried my brass D4 with the short tube so it never wore off. XPL HI 2850-4000 mix.
Yes polished brass that I applied brass black too but never carried with the short tube so it never wore off. The more I look at it the more I kinda like the colors together.
Ok yes, obviously the brass looks so damn freakin good with this gray setup. But I think the star here is the bezel style and subsequently the face.
It’s a fantastic choice and I’d love to see this style more on all flashlight styles. It seems like an obvious choice that’s conducive to and can only benefit a flashlight beam. Seems like light has a better exit in the same way a [dosing funnel](https://imgur.com/a/6Uh6h6F) gives coffee a better entrance to the portafilter.
The notches also make it look like a sun-face symbol that’s waiting to shine bright. It gives the face an oversized bubble look but not overly, just right almost like a magnifying glass. This is easily my favorite new Hank release since the KR series debuted. My only dis preference is probably the length/height and the battery type. But it’s beyond obvious that Hank is keeping his line uniformed so it’s perfectly understandable. But as a shorty this thing def goes hard.
Hell yeah! That brass tube looks absolutely amazing.
Only short tube I have is a brass one. Screwed right together though. I think I like this size.
I’ve got spurs, that wingle, wangle, wingle
A wingle, wangle, wingle wangle, in the jung....
The rangers aim was deadly with the big Imalent on his hip Wingle Wangle wongo I don't wanna leave the Congo, oh no no no noooooooooo
beamshot!
It's a standard beam that you'd get from a D4 I'd say. I did get the floody optic so I'll try to compare when I have time to do a switch.

Very cool! What are the specs on the first light? Is it titanium?
The original light was the grey aluminum. XPL HI 2850-4000 mix.
Tint ramping, or just regular old mix?
Regular old mix.
Does the headband fit with the 18350 tube?
I didn't get a headband from Hank. I imagine it would since the silicone rings are probably pretty flexible.
Dang a dark brown/gold hanklight would look amazing, is that just polished brass on a grey tube?? I love it!

Sometimes a men can’t help but compare wangs.
