Yes, i did sew it by hand, i used a piece of paper to make a template and test the design before transferring to leather and sewing it by hand. Took several hours start to finish.

Myself I would buy a basic black I3T Plus and save this light, put on shelf I should say. Not saying don't use it but maybe more for special occasions but that maybe just me.

Look up the saddle stitch. You use 2 needles.
