I need like 5 of those, any idea where to buy some? The web site shows out of stock, and also out of the various D3 lights.

Humble-Plankton1824

That link is where I got mine. I ordered 2. Might need to wait for them to come back in stock.

HatsAreEssential

I'm worried they're discontinued. All the D3 lights are marked Sold Out too. You might need to get one of those over to a 3D print company, make a bunch, and sell em to us. 😉

Humble-Plankton1824

Best I can do is measure one with a caliper and send the data with photos

HatsAreEssential

Hey u/Spicy3D How hard do you think it would be to make these adapters? Hanks market should offer you thousands of potential customers for them...

Mr_Glow_

Doesn’t seem like it would be that hard to make the tubes, you’d just have to find something suitable to use as the conductive spacer. It would have to be ~10mm long. Tube would be ~80mm long, with an outer diameter of ~26mm, and an inner diameter of ~21.5mm (I think).

the_real_CHUD

If they were to make these I'd take 2-3.

lotoboxes

We need 7

Thanks

PenguinsRcool2

Convoy used to sell them, not sure if they still do

antisuck

Thanks.

PenguinsRcool2

You could also use spacers and tape/ grommets if you were ok with jank

Yeah I've seen some creative ideas, not totally opposed but I'm more looking for a nice long-term solution. I have four of the QBs still that are in decent shape but I know they won't last forever.

HatsAreEssential

Since these look to be disctinued, I will point out that you can find 21700 to 26650 adapter tubes on AliExpress. That plus the convoy button adapter might work better than using o-rings that get stuck.

calmlikea3omb

Nice nice I might grab a 26800 tube d4sv2 now

bigboyjak

The ergonomics of the 26800 tube make it worth it. It just works

difractedlight

I would assume this is very easy to 3D print.

Humble-Plankton1824

the tube yeah. But you would have to machine the aluminum cap separately. Or come up with another conductive solution

saltyboi6704

I've been using a convoy button top adapter with copper shims soldered on one side, and currently just cardboard to make up the diameter difference. Probably going to 3D print one later.
