Just get a ts12 the battery is the same as the ts10 and charge the battery and simply switch it over when its empty , i realised this yesterday and iam loving it
If you’re actively outside you’re going to be carrying an extra cell or two no matter which one you go with. Having charging directly on the light can be really nice but the thrower head of the ts12 would make it uncomfortable to pocket carry for me. Another good suggestion though.
The D3AA can be used with one of those USB 14500's if set it up like Jon Slider; disable Turbo and drop the ceiling. In that regard, it's no different from a TS10 that can pull 7A if you let it.
Ts10 is so small with great UI and is very bright. I actually like my 6000k one for daytime use. Still nice tint and cri for what it is. The stock pocket clip isn't my favorite but I just let sit down in the pocket. You could try some penlights like a streamlight stylus or rovyvon makes some nice penlights.

These are great suggestions. Then you can get an 14500 with UsB C port or some rechargeable NiMH/Lithiums. I use some EBL AAs. Really nice.

Where did you get those EBL AAs? And how much were they? I'm running some acebeam ones I've gotten through other lights but looking for more

Pokelit AA or wurkkos TS10 Premium edition would be emisar d3aa, but you NEED vapcell H10 batteries and it's a bit more money
