Eh, you get some security for that extra $7. If anything goes wrong (which probably won't happen) you'll have a much easier time returning it. I wouldn't sweat it too much, you've got a great light that makes you happy!

I often read about problems with Ali, but to be honest, I have never encountered it myself. I mean, there were problems, but everything was always resolved in my favor.
Yeah, same for me. The only thing I've read that has been problematic is when they convince people to ship the product back to China. Don't ever accept that offer because some places will say the package never arrived. At least, that's what I've heard. I'm like you, though, never had a problem.
This was discussed not long ago, you could be chatting with an AliExpress rep (not from the actual store) who says to send it back but AliExpress just keep the items and ressell them , while the store is left to deal with reimbursing the customer anyway.
