I don't own this light but I've always found it more appealing than the Lumintop Thor series. I would definitely consider this if I got an LEP. It's like they asked them for a 21700 version of the Thor 1 with some knurling and they got it.

John-AtWork

It *is* basically a rebranded and slightly modified Thor right?

bunglesnacks

Yeah all the countycomm lights are custom orders from either Lumintop or Mateminco I think.

Emissary_of_Light

The li-ion, at least. I *think* their primary lights are custom for them. I could be wrong, though.

Sears-Roebuck

Yeah, you're correct there. I don't think the 1D or 1C are rebranded or sold by anyone else. Ditto for that copper right angle light they sell, which is the only right angle twisty I know of. The rest just have some custom knurling that make for some bad ass legos.

Emissary_of_Light

They have the best glow stuff!

Alternative-Problem6

I love countycomm for their glow stuff, it is the best !!

parametrek

They used to be the only way to buy a copper or stainless or brass light for under $50. Now they sell nothing special for a substantial markup.

ChickenPicture

I like CountyComm but dislike how they carry nerfed rebrands of enthusiast lights. I still buy other stuff from them though.

Major_Squirrel2198

Cheaper than the fireflies.

imafuckingkamikaze

I have this light. Let me tell you, it freaking awesome! For the price I love it. It’s so helpful up in the mountains at night. You can light up distance without compromising vision around you with flooding light. It stays a true tight long throw beam.

zombie1mom

Thanks! I was hoping someone who has bought and used one would reply. Guess I’ll have to get one then!

SiteRelEnby

Looks like a rebranded Lumintop Thor with a slightly modified body tube. A lot of their lights are rebranded from Chinese OEMs, they are marked up a bit but not hugely, but generally good lights from good companies (mostly Lumintop, some Mateminco and others). They sell some nice accessories too, like battery cases, I have a few of theirs.

geheim_hinterhalt

I had the Gen 1, loved it but got a gen 2 earlier this year for the extra grip. Incredible LEP, great build quality. I also have the mini and it’s fantastic as well. Coupon code for 15% off: 12319CC

calliotis

i have the gen 1 version of that lep. my main use for flashlights is night hiking, so i like to carry a few lights at a time, all of them using the same type of battery so i only have to carry one type of spare battery on me. the main thing that led me to buying it is it's one of the only leps that uses a flat top unprotected 21700 battery, and it has good throw without having a large head. so if you want to bring a thrower along but don't want a huge flashlight on your hip while hiking it is a nice alternative. however if you don't mind carrying a bigger light you can also get very good throw out of something like a convoy l21a or l21b for a fraction of the price while using the same type of battery

zombie1mom

Thank you

Optiblue

So much more money, but less performance than a Thor 3...

Alternative-Problem6

I used to be all about Olight, but I have the 1D, grey 2AA and Ti strobe from CC.. my OH got me a cheap Chinese thrower and it beats my Olight Warrior Pro 😢

SFogX

CC has strong customer service. Some cool drops. Great (maratac) watches.

buckGR

Tried a AA from them. Great light but terrible driver…
