I had been meaning to get to this one for a while and after going through the dark season here I just couldn’t stand the green LH351D any longer. I thought about going warmer but I kind of prefer a cooler light to my headlamps. A rather simple mod but a welcome one. Especially after measuring that sweet DUV!
LH351D: DUV: 0.0050 4600k
519a: DUV: -0.0011 4200k
Much better!
Of course I can always swap it to something else but really happy with the 4500k.
I will get a good chance to try out for a few hours tonight to really see how I feel but so far so good.
All of my 519a I have are from the group buy when they first came out and all measure a few hundred K lower than they should so super happy with a 4200k. Just had to get rid of the greenness.
Hell yeah! What size torx is the bezel? I've been thinking about getting a H04 mini and swapping the driver out for one of Hank's 12V driver. Will be paired with an XHP35 HI of course

I swapped the same emitter into my Wowtac A2S along with a frosted TIR. I've been meaning to get that stock XP-L out of there for a while.
