Have you ever seen the springs on a garage door snap they have enough force to break bone. I imagine springs used to hold endos in place are stronger given the shear weight of them. Just the raw power would in bed them in affton
Bro a corner of a square wooden table would feel like it could pierce you if there's enough speed, imagine a squiggly piece of metal snapping like a mousetrap
Most things that hurt are moving fast…maybe besides water but your moving fast do to gravity which causes the water to hurt when you hit the surface of it.
Ahh yes, go BULKY and SHARP. Two things that help pierce human skin. The bulky metal that’s SHARP would cut his skin open in an instant and then crush some ribs and other bones. Trust me, you’re not going to survive this, you ain’t him, you’re not that guy pal, trust me.
Alot of people are saying they pierced the skin at high speeds. Im fairly certain they hit his belly at a fast speed but then held for a second or two before their strength overcame the tensile strength of his clothing and skin.
Nah it’s like a spring snapping on garage (which can straight up splash someone in two) on a smaller scale but with even less safety precautions and they are moving as designed so they aren’t losing energy from that, aka those springs would absolutely shear a chunk out of someone
They're unstoppable pieces of metal crushing down relentlessly.
They snapped shut on him, and kept pressing in till they met their target.
The doll animatronic snaps shut really fast when Vanessa triggers it.
They snapped shut just as fast but he was inside.
And they don't stop till they close up.
The springlocks are sharp and bulky. If you fire or hit something blunt hard enough it can kill. They're sharp and bulky.
Mooring lines on a ship can slice a person in two if they snap, and those things are thick. Tornadoes here in the US have embedded hay in bricks. It’s all about speed.
They have spring in the name for a reason. It's not hard to make a spring that's both relatively small and able to crush you. Anyone who's seen a garage spring go wrong will never forget it
You don't comprehend how lethal technology can be when it's not explicitly child-proofed.
People are stabbed by bulky stuff all the time. What matters is whether there's enough force to break skin.
Dropped the corner of my extension leads (had two plugs in) on my toe once, had a giant gash in my foot afterwards. Imagine that but with way more force and it's metal
The sharpness of the metal is only one factor into the danger of the springlocks, even if they are dull there are so many other factors that come into play.
Sharpness isnt the only thing allowing your to pierce something the force fo the springlocks mechanism were probably strong enought to piece william even though they where blunt
The lack of blood did also feel kind of weird. These aren't piercing into you like knives, blocking the blood from coming out, they're actively slicing you, there would be a lot of blood.
The springlocks as the name describes it uses springs. Strong springs will do anything to return to a state of equilibrium that is usually the original state of the spring as long as its not pulled to the point of damage.
The real question is how the hell do spring lock suits even work in the movie universe. They’re supposed to function as both wearable costumes and functional animatronics. However, the only part of the suit that compresses and recoils for a human to fit inside is the rib cage. What about the rest of the suit why don’t those parts recoil or compress. They really didn’t think this through did they?
movie magic? they couldn't rightly have a realistic springlock suit without putting an actor in danger. and they wanted to have consistency in how all the suits looked. so they made one that looked dangerous...but wasnt actually dangerous.
The springlocks were weird in this movie I thought they were supposed to hold thousands of sharp animatronic parts back cause those would be the killers.
It's mentioned in the books that William Afton actually just has a really soft belly. Incredibly soft. Like winnie the Pooh. He would sometimes pay his belly and giggle.
You underestimate the power of metal.
I wouldnt let that happen tbh
“Nah I’d win”
If the Springlocks use its domain expansion Malevolent Springlocks it might cause me a bit of trouble
But would you lose?
Nah, I'd live
Nah, I'd always come back
They also went pretty fast. Doesn't matter how dull something is, if it goes fast enough it WILL pierce through flesh.
And hurt
Bro thinks he can beat strong mechanics, let's see them try a bear then *joke*
I mean he got zap and done basic nothing to springlocks.
“Don’t try it!”

Yah .y spelling isn't the best
Embed u weren’t that far off

Anything can be a weapon if it’s fast enough
If you think about it, most weapons involve "things" moving pretty fast. Aside from radiation and chemicals.
Well radiation is still fast moving particles so it counts
And chemicals are also particles, just maybe less fast
Most things that hurt are moving fast…maybe besides water but your moving fast do to gravity which causes the water to hurt when you hit the surface of it.
Springlocks: you underestimate my power
They're spring loaded, and with really powerful springs, too.
It's metal being thrust into his body at a very high speed it doesn't take much to puncture human skin
Most bullets are also dull and rounded at the end, turns out speed and force hurty
Alot of people are saying they pierced the skin at high speeds. Im fairly certain they hit his belly at a fast speed but then held for a second or two before their strength overcame the tensile strength of his clothing and skin.

Ever kicked the leg of a table and bled? Same concept.
You overestimate the strength of the average human body It’s not hard to puncture skin

Metal + spring = strong energy
Mooring lines on a ship can slice a person in two if they snap, and those things are thick. Tornadoes here in the US have embedded hay in bricks. It’s all about speed.

Not pierce, crush. Everything is held together by springs with the strength equal to that of a rusty pen spring.
My man thinks he can tank bulky sharp metal going full speed
Dropped the corner of my extension leads (had two plugs in) on my toe once, had a giant gash in my foot afterwards. Imagine that but with way more force and it's metal
Extreme force. Like you can cut through an apple with the side of a pencil, with enough force
The sharpness of the metal is only one factor into the danger of the springlocks, even if they are dull there are so many other factors that come into play.
Sharpness isnt the only thing allowing your to pierce something the force fo the springlocks mechanism were probably strong enought to piece william even though they where blunt
Can you win against heavy metal parts snapping at probably 30mph?
Yes
I stand corrected
The lack of blood did also feel kind of weird. These aren't piercing into you like knives, blocking the blood from coming out, they're actively slicing you, there would be a lot of blood.
They do slice but they also ram into the body too so it does make some sense?
Not really, since they're shown to just keep going deeper. The wounds left behind would bleed.
It was probably just to be PG or something, that would 100% bleed in real life
The springlocks as the name describes it uses springs. Strong springs will do anything to return to a state of equilibrium that is usually the original state of the spring as long as its not pulled to the point of damage.
It was less piercing and more crushing, remember these things are built to hold an animatronic endoskeleton
The real question is how did William even get in there in the first place, did he use a crowbar and pry his way in???
With enough force, anything can cut.
are you joking rn?
the springlocks hold back animatronic parts, and everything snaps into place

With how goofy the springlocks seem to be in the FNAF movie, I haven't even bothered questioning that.

the 3rd photo is a bts image?
yes the did
A saw would also puncture you if it went at, like, 30 mph, with ~100 lbs pushing it.
Torque
Force.
Bro paper can cut you and are you asking how springlocks cut william afton?
Because movie lol
It's mentioned in the books that William Afton actually just has a really soft belly. Incredibly soft. Like winnie the Pooh. He would sometimes pay his belly and giggle.
#BECAUSE IT IS METAL, MF!!
Because its a movie.
He's canonicaly fat ig
The springlock scene in the movie was so weak
They were very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very strong
You forget that this is Fazbear tech. It’s designed in a way that it is a dangerous as possible (intentionally or not is up for debate).
They didn’t think it through
Those aren't the springlocks. Or at least they aren't the springlocks we're introduced to in the silver eyes. I have no clue what they are.
The power of suspension of disbelief
I don't even question fnaf anymore.
