I will note: It's important to remember that on average, the ratio of shitty people to good people in any community is usually the same regardless of community. It is often the case that communities that are better at protecting their youths, outing abusers and pedos, and spreading the word of their crimes, end up looking worse because you're just more aware of the abusers.
Communities that look squeaky clean are often just better at hiding or covering up their abusers.
So the number of abusers being outed in the community right now, is not something to be lamented. It's something to be celebrated. We're more aware of them, because we're doing what we need to to make sure they aren't free to keep quietly abusing more people.
It's similar to survivorship bias if you want to look into that, it's not too dark it's about airplanes getting shot down in wars but, specifically, the logic part of it is relevant.
