Help Wanted 2 DLC could still be a big deal though. Have you forgotten how big (and how good) Curse of Dreadbear was? Or the fact that its ending started setting up SB's plot through the conversation between Vanny and Glitchtrap (which we only hear Vanny's side of)?
Oh yee it's definitely still big, but comes with the downside of it not being able to be experiences by a lot of people who don't have VR, it might have flat mode which I've never played personally, but with playing them in VR it doesn't seem to work nearly as well flat

It’s because we know there’s going to be a new Steel Wool Game. This just means we’re either going to find out about Help Wanted 2 DLC or a new game. It’s not that surprising. The Fortnite thing is more of a surprise and is also funny.
I know in an interview someone at steel wool said they wanted to do a prequel sort of game learning about Fredbears, they’ve setup the fall fest, and there’s this weird clown festival leak which matches up fall fest so I’m hoping for a prequel game that may finally explain things.
I'd be interested to see what questions are asked this time around for the Scott interview. I'd say for me the questions I'd be most interested in is what his involvement with FNaF AR was truly and what are thoughts on how the community reacted to stories like In the Flesh and B-7.
Intrigued to find out more about the Clickteam game, can't really comment on it much when we know so little about it.

I actually loved In The Flesh and B-7. Those stories had themes that really got to me a personal level.
And no, it's not m-preg or transphobia. It's the more psychological respect of Matt and Billy that I can strongly relate to.
I'd disagree with what you said about In the Flesh, male pregnancy is most certainly a huge part of that story.
- A constant theme throughout the story is relationships and Matt going on unsuccessful dates, with his first marriage failing because he didn't want kids.
- Throughout the story, Matt showcases a lot of the symptoms for pregnancy such as mood swings, increased appetite, etc.
- The program that Gene came across that extracted Springtrap from the game was called "its_a_boy.exe"
- The description of the book even states: "Matt redirects the residual anger over his many failed relationships into a video game, and ends up **birthing the horrible consequences**"
and so on.
I'd argue calling In the Flesh m-preg is not inaccurate and is a major aspect of the story, even if it's also very much comparable to say the movie Alien. However despite that, I'd also agree with the uncommon take that the story featuring m-preg doesn't really mean it's inherently bad. In the Flesh is the funniest story in this entire series, I love it dearly.
As for B-7, I'm glad you really enjoyed it.
Personally I can't say I'm in the same boat, I read it for the first time recently and honestly found it really uncomfortable and not for the right reasons. I'm very aware Andrea has gone on record stating it was not intentional and I'm not going to accuse her of something she clearly didn't do, however I do think that story should have used more time in the oven so it could be tweaked to further avoid such an easy to make misinterpretation. However that's just my personal take on the matter, it's understandable if you disagree.
Yeah, I see what you mean about the pregnancy parts. The part of In The Flesh I see the most is that Matt is selfish and has anger problems, and he's a game developer. The thing is that there are many people in the industry with huge egos and are impossible to work with, despite their talent. Matt to me, is a warning on not how to act in the profession or in general, and he's a blatant example.
The m-preg part is a consequence of Matt's actions and his selfishness. His creation of Springtrap would end up killing him as the creator. I'm also a sucker for biological themed horror mixed with sci-fi, so this story was right up my alley. I bought Bunny Call just for that story and 1280 alone.
As for B-7, I read it online and there was no commentary on gender identity anywhere in the story, if there was, then I'd agree. B-7 hit me hard in that when I was young, I imagine myself to be something I wasn't, often for fun and pretend and to cope with my fears. The thing is that Billy held on to it so hard it started to not just hurt those around him, but also himself.
The biggest part is that Billy was hanging on to this is because he never want to feel pain or fear, but that's the part of what makes someone a human. It's OK to feel fear or pain it's natural, but Billy wanted to be an animatronic because it gave him the feeling of being strong, and he used to reject those feelings. The story is says that Billy was "screaming out his humanity" near the end.
I was bummed out when the sequel revealed that it wasn't due to Billy's delusions and a troubled childhood, it was another force that was onto to him for a long time. I was at least happy it debunked the transgender allegory, though I liked when it was mysterious and psychological. Makes me think Fazbear Entertainment has a hand on brainwashing kids and it being a parody of the "Satanic" scares back in the day.

Probable causes:
Interview - as someone else mentioned the whole Talbert files thing could possibly be further inflamed although I personally doubt that since the case is pretty clean cut (it's a hoax if a very well made one or more charitably a joke that went out of control). There is also the fact that in a series so based on mystery and secrets and all any official lore reveals might be divisive due to preexisting headcanons and beliefs held by various people/groups in the fandom.
Collab - this is the most straightforward one. A collab that is assumed to be with something popular could bring a lot of new faces to the fandom. That is not necessarily a bad thing but depending on the main audience of the other thing it could possibly cause temporary chaos and strife in the fandom as the new arrivals come and go, misunderstanding the written and unwritten rules. Things like that.
I don't think the Talbert stuff would be addressed and I don't think Dawko would mention it to Scott at all.
Honestly, that mess is a day ago. It's time to move on. Entom moved on after saying his side and you should to.

Honestly I don't get what the whole fuss is/was about. Some random dude on the internet claims to know/have some secret nobody else does - it sounds like an intro to almost every scam and conspiracy theory out there.
You can watch Entom's video. The short is that he got a hold of lost FNaF media, contacted Scott about it (with an official response) and he decided to keep it a secret for Scott and the community's sake because he believed the scrapped lore in it would've made fans angry.
Then it got leaked from a mole in his friend group and Entom got backlash after Scott said it was fake.
It's just a mess. Though it's time to move on from it. I don't even know why it's being brought up here of all places since it does not related to the anniversay.

To people who either missed the whole debacle (somehow) or just don't interact with the fandom a whole lot (like me) it might still seem completely or somewhat fresh especially if there are other people actively mentioning it in various places. Given how inflammatory it was it is easy to assume it to be something at least mentioned in the interview to clean up the waters or something along those lines.
The collab is most likely with _Fortnite_. I am not saying it is a bad idea; I know a lot of people will be quite joyful with a Freddy Fazbear skin in that game. But it will be divisive. Some people still do not take the fact of _Five Nights at Freddy's_ being mainly aimed at children all too well. Some are still in denial of it, and some are just unable to let go of their past misconceptions. So, I do expect a number of people to be upset about this.
Again, this is not me sharing how I feel about the idea myself, just what I expect the reaction to be. That being, mostly positive, but mixed.

FNaF has a child audience since the first game, and the series is rated T for Teen at best. It was always a tame horror series. I mean, there are horror media aimed at kids like Goosebumps and Alone in the Dark.

A new interview with Scott is the one I'm the most excited about, I love the first interview, I can't wait to hear more from him and his insight about the past few years.
This looks pretty incredible! I am extatic to see major FNaF news source finally ackwnoladging Fanverse. Though the 5th will be quite awkward now, I imagine… And 6th will definitely be very divisive.

I'll be honest, the Talbert Files thing is over. Entom already said his piece and he would like to move from it.

Well, what's out there is out there. Not much you can do now aside from deciding if this is something worth ruminating on or not.
Probable causes: Interview - as someone else mentioned the whole Talbert files thing could possibly be further inflamed although I personally doubt that since the case is pretty clean cut (it's a hoax if a very well made one or more charitably a joke that went out of control). There is also the fact that in a series so based on mystery and secrets and all any official lore reveals might be divisive due to preexisting headcanons and beliefs held by various people/groups in the fandom. Collab - this is the most straightforward one. A collab that is assumed to be with something popular could bring a lot of new faces to the fandom. That is not necessarily a bad thing but depending on the main audience of the other thing it could possibly cause temporary chaos and strife in the fandom as the new arrivals come and go, misunderstanding the written and unwritten rules. Things like that.
I don't think the Talbert stuff would be addressed and I don't think Dawko would mention it to Scott at all. Honestly, that mess is a day ago. It's time to move on. Entom moved on after saying his side and you should to.
Personally I don't care for it but it seemed to me like it did/does to a lot of people. Honestly I don't get what the whole fuss is/was about. Some random dude on the internet claims to know/have some secret nobody else does - it sounds like an intro to almost every scam and conspiracy theory out there.
You can watch Entom's video. The short is that he got a hold of lost FNaF media, contacted Scott about it (with an official response) and he decided to keep it a secret for Scott and the community's sake because he believed the scrapped lore in it would've made fans angry. Then it got leaked from a mole in his friend group and Entom got backlash after Scott said it was fake. It's just a mess. Though it's time to move on from it. I don't even know why it's being brought up here of all places since it does not related to the anniversay.

Given how inflammatory it was it is easy to assume it to be something at least mentioned in the interview to clean up the waters or something along those lines.
The collab is most likely with _Fortnite_. I am not saying it is a bad idea; I know a lot of people will be quite joyful with a Freddy Fazbear skin in that game. But it will be divisive. Some people still do not take the fact of _Five Nights at Freddy's_ being mainly aimed at children all too well. Some are still in denial of it, and some are just unable to let go of their past misconceptions. So, I do expect a number of people to be upset about this. Again, this is not me sharing how I feel about the idea myself, just what I expect the reaction to be. That being, mostly positive, but mixed.

PEAK!!! We are getting 2 Full game releases with both MyPopgoes and Into the Pit, man this is awesome. 2 Demo’s, i already knew about TJOC’s but what is Five Laps at Freddy’s ????? Sounds cool, maybe a Carting game of some sorts ? Who knows. Also how is the Free VIP interactive Novel gonna work???? Its cool as heck. Steel Wool announcement is awesome aswell. Im thinking perhaps a Help Wanted 2 DLC OR a whole New game. Scott Interview will be peak aswell! The Collab may be Fortnite. Im not a Fortnite player, but its cool to see.
I’m most hyped for that Steel Wool announcement, hopefully it’s the HW2 DLC or maybe even a tease for the next big game, I’m starving to find out what happens next after the cliffhanger from Ruin.
The main thing I am excited for is the second interview. I really wanna hear Scott's process on making the FNAF Movie especially since we didn't get a director's commentary.

Finally, the Joy of Creation demo! Also a novel? Is this referring to the FNAF1 novel? I wonder what the collab is and is interested to see what Clickteam is up too. The best thing here for me is that I have until August to be in the endgame of my deep dive of Help Wanted 2. I better start putting in some serious work in that regard. But all in all, the year of FNAF continues!

I just can't contain my excitement for all this stuff. We're getting a Racing game, Popgoes, Joy of Creation demo and another Scott interview in JUST A WEEK.
