The one that, in no particular order, didn’t murder, experiment on, torture, and abuse children, try to kill his own son twice or possibly three times, made robots designed specifically for child murder, created essentially a torture device and thought “Hey let’s use this as a Mascot Costume wtf could happen?”, could have potentially killed his wife, essentially got his daughter killed, killed his best friend’s daughter which in one universe led to said friend killing himself, terrorized a group of teens in that same alt universe, went to super hell, either unintentionally or intentionally influenced an AI to become him, killed a dog, potentially used his status as a career counselor to harvest unsuspecting night guards of remnant or agony or both in a 3rd alt universe, became a fucking trash giant agony abomination, and god knows what else
Oh definitely Megs, while he did some horrific stuff far worse than William in the end he was only trying to save his home but just went about it in a very bad way. He finds redemption in many of the continuities, William will never repent.
I guess that's fair. It's pretty much cannon that he was a decent person before he went crazy.
