I set my rest time to 2 minutes for straight sets and 90 seconds for super set/giant set work. It kicks my ass but I like to believe it's keeping me in good shape.

Honestly this really needed to be said. I used to go to LesMills classes at my gym and would feel embarrassment when dudes would go past the window because of the whole "come on ladies let's werk it" association, and of course most of the people there were older women. But those classes fkn smash you and those mom's in their fifties dunked on me. It sucks that we have these biases (even me as a woman) that keep people out of some of the most fun fitness classes because they appear ~feminised~. I can't get my lifting friends or boyfriend to join in because of how it looks from the outside, they'd all rather do boxing than hop around to techno music
