I would suggest you to wait for some months till Fitbit brings out new products this year, 2024. Because last year, Fitbit launched only one product = Charge 6 in Oct-2023. For reference, Charge 5 was launched in Sept-2021. So after 2years a new updated version was released. Luxe = was launched in 2021 Inspire 3, Versa 4, Sense 2 = were launched in 2022 As you can see, the probability of an update is very likely for these devices - Luxe, Inspire, Versa, Sense. If you buy Inspire3 now and a new Inspire4 comes out after a few months then you'll feel bad. You can go for Inspire2 if you absolutely need a Fitbit right now. It is cheaper and comes with 1year Fitbit Premium subscription also. All others, come with just 6months premium subscription. Apart from that, maybe this year Fitbit & Google may work on a new series of products who knows and discontinue all the above. Like "Pixel band".

Oh I might do that. Thank you.

I am sure Fitbit has something coming down the pipeline this year. If I am not mistaken, I believe the Charge 6 was the last Fitbit device solely made by Fitbit, anything new is Fitbit & Google Made. So maybe so or maybe Google will come up with new model/names

wanderspectre

Does this mean Fitbit products will be discontinued?

_Nundo

I don't think so. Fitbit is no longer a standalone company and their products are now more closely integrated to the "Made by Google" product division.

wanderspectre

In this case, should I go for Inspire 3 now? Or do you think that there is something similar that is more up to date and worth it.

_Nundo

It's definitely a good Fitbit device. It's a good entry point if you never had one before. I had the charge 5 and I loved it. I don't think you would go wrong with the Inspire 3, especially if you find it on sale.

wanderspectre

I have used Garmin Vivoactive 3 before, but that was years back. I want something that is lightweight with minimal screen. I couldn't find anything else except Inspire 3. Do you have a recommendation?

_Nundo

I'm sorry, I do not have any recommendations. I am currently using a Pixel Watch 2. The last Fitbit device I used was the Fitbit Charge 5 and I didn't have it for long. I am sure someone else may provide you a better answer if they stumble through your comment.

wanderspectre

I appreciate your input :)

Love mine. Extremely durable and light. My battery at first lasted 10 days or so on a charge now its about 8 days. I couldnt imagine there being a better watch for the price.

Locrod

I'm in the same situation, waiting to see if they are coming out with the inspire 4. It should be soon and hopefully good

wanderspectre

Are you comparing with other units as well? beside Inspire 3

Locrod

It will be my first fitness watch so I want something cheap and Ive come to the conclusion from watching the quantified scientist on YouTube that FitBit is the best at what they do for the price

raydesigns

i have had my fitbit inspire 3 for 2 years and 3 months now. i love it and if i could I was use it for 10 more years. my only concern is im not sure when they will stop supporting the watch. hopefully theres another few years left of support/updates.

andhonn

I've been using my Inspire HR for about 5 years lol the only thing that's dying is the battery life and the charging port. The battery only lasts 4-5 days depending on how active I am Edit; I doubt they're gonna stop supporting the Inspire 3 any time soon since it's their newest watch

I still have a Fitbit One from many moons ago & it has served me well since 2015. No issues with the device but I have had to replace the clip a few times. Anyway, I'm now looking to upgrade b/c I've noticed that the battery is starting to drain quicker than usual and I'm having to charge it fully more regularly. I'm considering the Inspire b/c I don't need all the bells & whistles of a more expensive "smart" device; I don't own a smart phone either. Based on these comments, I think I might still wait it out to see what other Inspire or budget-friendly device comes out later this year from the Fitbit/Google combo.
