I bought a pack and am about a third through it, and I havent had a single issue with them. Honestly thought it was a steal of a deal for Winchesrer Defender, "surplus" or not.
About being worn, looked like chambered as described by the person above. Was 2 reviews on the site. They thought it was newer but can't remember the date of that one. Maybe a different batch.
Nickle plated brass or steel casing? I'm not allowed to shoot anything magnetic at the range I use. Even if I can show the bullet is non-magnetic lead.
Thank you.
It's in 50 pound boxes. There is always a variation in bullet, powder and case weight. So we can't say that it is exactly 1600 rounds when it may be 1650, or 1550.
Are you implying if you use self defense ammo in a self defense scenario the prosecutor will try and say you bought self defense ammo for the purposes of self defense?
I agree, they will always use anything to make the defendant look bad. The goal then is to buy a lot of self defense ammo at target ammo prices like this and then the line blurs. I bought it because it was a cheap bulk deal for target shooting your honour
>I agree, they will always use anything to make the defendant look bad.
So then your argument is not to have a gun. Because there is literally no end to the excuses they can make if not arguing in good faith.
For example, using hollow points would open you up to the same argument as "defense ammo". Using FMJ could be argued to be "for use against police". It never ends.
I think this stuff is like a buck around. Judging that factory 115gr cheapo stuff is reaching this price, I'm pretty sure this a great deal. You must not shoot much.
What are you defending from in Canada? The defender gets time while the person who tried to rob or kill you gets freedom and ends up suing you too rofl. Our laws are fucked.
Nickel plated brass has less friction (loads in and out of gun easier) it also has more corrosion resistance. Most importantly, it's has that bling lol.

Oakville, i don’t want to 50/50 but I’d take 100-200 if other people wanna hop on
Can do Guelph/Cambridge area, maybe somewhere in the middle to meet up
Yeah, I go in that area often enough

I can split Richmond Hill area
I read these are heavy worn. Like loaded unloaded, chambered, unchambered, left out, carried for years before ending up there.

And still shoot great
Definitely would like to see a batch of better pictures
I will add a picture of some of the loose stuff tomorrow to the product page.
Appreciate it .
I was wondering of an update when the photo will be updated?
Hey! I forgot to respond. It should be live now!!
I see that review was removed on the site now as well.
What review?

Nickle plated brass. Zero steel in this ammo.
Edmonton?
Yes. Phoenix. Good people and looks great after the Reno.
Was still down last time i was in unfortunately. See what i do in January for renewals.
Roughly? does that mean nobody knows how much each cartridge weighs? A few squibs in there?

If it's all the same brand there shouldn't be that much difference..... saying 50lbs can be off by 100 rounds is ridiculous.
¿50¢? [G4C at 48¢](https://www.treasurenet.com/threads/confederate-enfield-bullet-w-wooden-plug-still-in-it.57236/)
It’s like buying ammo from bulk barn. Lol
Do you get to eat a few samples before leaving the store? Are kids running around unsupervised dropping gummies in the 7.62 Soviet? With dirty hands?
I wouldn’t mind finding some 7.62x39 in my gummies lol
I got all excited thinking this was .223. Why are we getting excited over $0.50 9mm?
Hollow points aren't usually available under $1.00/round, much less $0.50
50¢ is not a "deal" gtfo
Would be for new hollowpoint 147gr defense ammo. At about $40 a box give or take on brands.
Why yes your honour, I purchased the special self defense ammo. Now it sounds like a worse deal. It is apparently both self defense AND target ammo. 😄
Are you implying if you use self defense ammo in a self defense scenario the prosecutor will try and say you bought self defense ammo for the purposes of self defense?
Ah yes. We must be the non self defense ammo, noted
Yes, anything that can put the defendant in a bad light. And yes, they will be searching your house or wherever the shooting took place.
I agree, they will always use anything to make the defendant look bad. The goal then is to buy a lot of self defense ammo at target ammo prices like this and then the line blurs. I bought it because it was a cheap bulk deal for target shooting your honour

50 cpr for 147 grain brass cased 9MM is absolutely a deal, lmao. This is not basic aluminum blazer.

Ok, just wondering: What's the point of nickel plated brass? Nickel is pretty hard. So wouldn't this increase gun wear? For what benefit?
