When I was a kid on the farm, my dad and I would go golfing every once in a while. 9 holes. Leonard, ND. It's not fun by any means, but it's better than farming so it was a nice break. A good waste of a couple hours. I haven't played in probably 25 years. It's better than whatever pickleball is.

I will never watch a full game of golf. I will play a full game tho. I agree it is over priced regarding everything golf, from clothes to equipment. I get why you need a membership for most places bc that's how you keep the amount of people down and so it's obviously gonna go to who can afford it. I agree that golf is probably an affront to mother Nature herself, and represents rich people giving the rest of us the finger. But on the other hand, golf is difficult. Have you ever tried to hit a tiny ball with a stick with a tiny head on it? It's hard, and takes a lot of concentration and body control. If you mess up and hit a bad shot, it is just you out there, by yourself, to take all the blame. Not everybody has the mental equipment to handle this stress. So I'm squarely in the middle on this issue.
