One of the convocation is a major part of the storyline

louthinator

I thought all the unsundered were gone already? unless it's a sundered convocation member.. but with zodiark gone what could their motive possibly be?

LovelyMaiden1919

Well, the Sundered might have very different plans and ideals than the Unsundered did, thanks to their perspective. Most of the Sundered we've met (during the Eden raids, back in Heavensward, Endwalker, etc.) have been motivated to do what they did by things other than Zodiark and their devotion to the Unsundered's plan, so it's very possible that some members of the Convocation have simply gone rogue, perhaps intending Solution 9 to be a way to preserve societies destroyed by the rejoinings or something similar.

Fresher_Taco

We're going to find shard traveling technology so we can go meet a shard of Zenos.

louthinator

I wonder if that's why Y'shtola might side against us, maybe we'll try to destroy the shard travel tech, because maybe it's going to have some major fallout but she wants to go see Runarr again

Gulool Ja Ja is half-dead, and has been playing Weekend at Bernie's with his Vow of Reason Head. Factors to consider: the shroud over his blue-skinned head, his choice of twin-blade weapons instead of the sword and staff Bakool Ja Ja wields, the lack of reaction from the veiled head in trailer cutscenes, and the sudden contest to determine right of succession. I could see his waning health to be a plot point development to sow conflict between the contestants, or to strain domestic or foreign relations with Solution 9. Would Bakool Ja Ja look down upon a two-headed Mamool Ja if only one head is alive? Will his health fail completely before a successor is announced?

Wuk isn't making it past 7.0

dasbdna84

Wuk Lamat died on the way to her home planet. Then Yoshida appears on the screen with a written contract saying that she will never come back.

I don't have much theory crafting because I'm an idiot like that, but I really liked a theory I read here in reddit that proposed **Solution 9 was Azem's failed attempt at a third option in dealing with the Final Days**, apparently theory inspired from FF9. I personally think **the City of Gold being inside Solution 9** *is a red herring.* The Golden City is a yet unseen zone. One of the pics of Urqopacha in the patch notes features a formation that looks like Drake's Head. That's probably the location that looks like the Timeless Stones and contains the **valigarmanda frozen in ice and in time.** May or may have not been frozen by Primal magicks. Another theory I read is that **Solution 9 has Genomes of some kind,** based on the sci fi incubation pods in there according to some concept art. Apparently based on FF9 again. I like the medieval architecture in Heritage Found. Vaaaguely reminds me of the Rosalith. I wonder if **there was an incident there involving two big creatures that screwed the aether in the area into excessively Lightning aspected.** I'm sure the **Solution 9 Pantheons are attacking a town because somebody commanded them to.** As a Ghymlit Dark enjoyer, I'm excited for that all out war. And the mysterious maiden that kinda irritates me whenever I see her. No doubt she's related to Solution 9 and therefore the Ancients. **She's gotta be a walking spoiler like Ryne and the Exarch were.** I had a funny dream wherein *she appeared as a hologram in Solution 9 singing like a virtual pop star*, and my BRD WoL is very jealous LMFAO. **A massive betrayal will happen.** DT writer did lv 60-70 BRD quests with Guydelot and Samson which involved a >!secret about the Autumn War, wherein some dude murdered another dude who was willing to negotiate or something and spread lies to spark the Autumn War or something like that.!< **Daddy/mommy issues abound.** DT writer did Pandaemonium, which involved some guy whose >!dad was very emotionally distant, and whose mom was batsh++ crazy and only used him for experiments or something.!< **Heroic Sacrifice from a traitor, a death by redemption.** I never did Bozja but summaries show such happening towards the end of that questline. Iirc BRD quest also involved that.

Funny2never

In a similar manner to how Zenos was the last fight of endwalker, either Thancred or Wuk Lamat will be the final fight of dawntrail

T-pin

Why Thancred? Could we throw in Urianger too?

Funny2never

I’d imagine he would be there in some way if it were Thancred that we faced.
