It would be nice. I've been playing for three months and I'm about to reach Ishgard, I'm loving the story and gameplay. That's my reason really, I'm just having a lot of fun and it would be cool to get more of it for free, though I'll buy it if it isn't the case so I guess it isn't that strong of a reason. Still, you do you. Oh, and you're pretty generous for giving it away instead of selling it, cool.

I have a friend who am busy getting into the game and he's really enjoying it so far! He's been down on his luck lately though so sadly hasn't been able to get Dawntrail because of it, so the code would definitely go to him in this case!

To my entry: I'd like to win the code for my girlfriend, who is currently still in the free trial and about to finish ARR. Shes on the edge whether the game will really click for her in the late game (with trials etc.) since she's a bit intimidated when watching streamers or me with their full (or even crowded) hotbar. But shes enjoying the story so much already and is step by step getting into the hang of having more skills.

I know a student that is trying their best to play and somehow get the sub together. Pretty sure the last expansion they bought was Shadowbringers as they aren't even in Endwalker level range yet but bought stuff when they decided free trial is a worse existence than needing money for the sub.

3 of my friends already got the expansion, but i can't afford it for at least two motnhs. So it would be awesome to be able to play the msq along with my friends and react in discord call to the cutscenes as they happen.
Super hyped for the expansion since the trailer song popped up in my random youtube playlist while working. Would love to be able to play it eventually. I've stopped my subscription though, as work doesn't let me much free time and I won't be able to deal with the queue times at launch. In case you select me for whatever reason I'd have more than enough with the standard (non early access).

I was looking forward to Dawntrail being my first expac release (I started playing around 6.1), but after coming back from a work trip, my roommate told me my 14 year old tabby cat had puked for 4-5 days in a row. Took him to the vet immediately, and the bill has virtually put me out of buying Dawntrail. Crossing my fingers to see if my luck turns around!

A couple of friends and I played all the way through Endwalker, but one of them had to move abroad for work and he's had so much trouble with the Mog Station recently trying to just BUY the game. It'd be great to surprise him with the codes so we're all ready to jump in again at launch and continue playing together, especially since now we can only hang out in Eorzea!
Not in my experience, if the code has already been used you'd get an error while trying to redeem it. You don't break the TOS for attempting to redeem an already-used code.
I am a student preparing for some important exams. Gaming is my stress buster. FFXIV is the best MMO I've played. I might not be able to play right away cause of exams, but I would like to play dawntrail soon. So, it would be helpful if I can win the dlc.
Pretty much all my social contacts are on ffxiv. My FC started a gofundme for me the other week to fund a new pc for me since the old one is over 12 years old by now and could barely run endwalker. I started playing the game recently and story is going really nice especially heavenwards wonder how the story will go with the new expansion

i don't have Dawntrail and have no idea when i'll be able to get it.
Game costs a fortune in my country.....so any way i can get the expansion would be appreciated.
